I absolutely love everything the two artist did in this comic book! They did marvelous job in art and dynamic of story telling. They really outdone themselves. However, it is somewhat fast paced and I feels like some few missing plot that could potentially make a lot sense in terms of connection and process that leads the actual outcome like in first two book of the prophecies begins.
I still strongly recommend you to read the first arc of prophecies before reading this comic book to make more sense to you if necessary.

Wonderful adaptation of the events of Into the Wild, and half of Fire and Ice. Every single page was so well drawn and looked amazing. Character designs were great and everyone was so accurately portrayed.

Der Artikel hat hochwertige Qualität und kam super schnell an. Wer die Buchreihe „Warrior Cats“ kennt wird das graphic Novel lieben und verschlingen so wie ich. Die Spannung ebbt in der Handlung niemals ab, die Charaktere sind interessant und sehr liebenswert und man fühlt sich direkt wohl, weil die ausführliche Beschreibung von Charakteren und dem alltäglichen Leben der Katzen im Clan sehr genau und von vielen Blickwinkeln aus beleuchtet wird. Eine echte Lese Empfehlung, für alle die Katzen, Fantasy, Comics und Tiergeschichten mit epischer Länge lieben. Auch perfekt für Neulinge der Reihe geeignet. Kleine Erinnerung der nächste Graphic Novel (dieser umfasst dann band 3 Forest of Secrets und band 4 Rising Storm) erscheint bereits April 2025. Unbedingt vormerken 🙂

I’d like to preface this saying that the illustrations are absolutely gorgeous! I love the unique and appealing designs of the characters and the vibrant way they and the world is depicted. Absolute eye candy!
However, without spoilers the book is very fast-paced, which is to be expected as it adapts two entire books- it is still somewhat disappointing and could be surprising. It leaves out some key moments which is unfortunate however, overall it is a solid read and I recommend any Warrior’s fan to purchase it.

I’ve been a fan of Warrior Cats for awhile. Nowadays though I don’t have much time to sit down and read full books so I prefer Graphic Novels. I was really excited when this was announced and I wasn’t dissapointed! The art is cute and the designs are pretty accurate. Was surprised by how thick the book was considering it’s a graphic novel adaptation [which are usually short summaries of the actual novel] but after reading I learned it covers both Book 1 and Book 2. I think my only complaint is it covers Book 1 really well but book 2 felt a little short or rushed. Overall though, I really enjoyed this and I highly recommend it to Warrior fans and Graphic Novel readers. It is by far the best comic adaptation we’ve gotten for this series. I look forward to the second Graphic Novel! :]

Bought this for the kids and I am amazed at how great the book is, it captures the novel perfectly but also help bring the character to a visual life for the younger audience for whom a wall of text (novel) might still be daunting to try. My 8 year old went through the whole thing in 3 days.
I truly hope they continue to adapt the first series of novels in this format, I will for sure buy them all.

This adaptation is amazing- it is what Warrior Cats fans have wanted for years! The art is fantastic, the use of color is gorgeous, the expressions, while a bit stylized, hit home and convey the proper emotions, and the story itself is loyal to the source material. It is a bit fast-paced but that is necessary from what they had to adapt into a graphic novel. Definitely would recommend for all Warrior Cats fans, young and old!

This Graphic Novel has very well drawn illustrations that are always breathtaking to look at. If you’re a Warriors fan or just love cat and art in general I would 100% recommend this book. It cover the first and part of the second book of the Warriors series. The adaptation of the first book is very well done. Story beats of the second book have been reconstructed and possibly pushed to the next book. However, I think it’s an amazing adaptation overall. I’m looking forward to the next book!

I got into reading Warrior Cats in 6th grade in 2010 when I found the Graystripe manga. Never reading a book prior or knowing anything about this series. The art, characters, and story pulled me in. That book and Graystripe have been my favorite since, I read every Warrior’s manga and book after that. To this day I’m beginning to slowly grow my Warrior Cat’s collection to show my support and love for this series.
I won’t lie, I wasn’t sure about this revival and new art style. Even going back to the first book/series. Will they cut out important parts? Will they change the characters I know and love? What if it isn’t like the first time baby Brooke found a cool looking cat manga in a middle school library. Reading it and being pulled into the world, becoming a warrior herself with how much she was pulled in. Fighting, healing, leading, and grieving each of them. Well….
It pulled me back to that time and it was all new to me again. Erin Hunter chose the right people to revive the series with this adaptation. The more I read the more I slowed down because it was getting close to the end. I wanted more. More of this art and story, curious what was going to happen next. When I already know what to expect. There was a longing of wanting more and a dread for the end of this manga. I loved every second, minute, and hour this graphic novel has given me. I’m definitely pre-ordering the Yellowfang one next, Hardcover again as well. Because the art and details is amazing! I can’t describe the beauty in words just sitting here gushing at it. Also, I took a picture of a bonus page to show how much thought and love they put into this. There’s a bit more bonus pages but I’m not spoiling that.
Buy this book and make it a hardcover, you’ll be reading this book over and over again. You’re gonna want a strong book to make it last longer 😅 I hope the artists do a signing soon cause I want them to sign this. They’re in Texas as well, so they won’t be too far for that. ❤️☺️

I love the drawings and the Character designs and really all the drawing. But The Problem that makes it four star is the… Shortness the into the wild part of the graphic novel is Decently long but the fire and ice part it was really short it didn’t cover lot that happened in the book. I felt like there was part that were rushed. I Recommend if this is your first time reading warrior cats might want to read the books to if you was not planning on to.

Beautiful illustration and my daughter seems to be enjoying it so far. I got mine on pre order sale, but it is worth the full retail price definitely.

I’m so glad Erin Hunter hired Natalie Riess and Sara Goetter for their beautiful art novel style, creating such an awesome addition to the Warriors series! Their work captures the atmospheric setting of every scene and the feelings of the characters. They even mapped the territory and labeled Thunderclan camp! The book also comes with Behind the Scenes, alternative book cover idea designs, character art, and its next preview of Prophecies Begin #2 cover to continue both Forest of Secrets & Rising Storm.
However, I would still recommend first timers to read the original Warriors book: Into the Wild first.
