I’m giving it 5 stars for the content, not for what I purchased. The online code does not work, for some reason; it says not available on this region, which is curious because my account is from the US and of course i purchased it through amazon usa… I’m confused.

1st – The initial multiplayer download took 1 hr 45 minutes on 1200 Mbps internet!
Then, another 1 hr 15 minutes to download the single player.
    The downloads are HUGE!
2nd – you launch the game and it loads and loads and loads when you go into a campaign.
You play, exit, then next time you go in to resume it loads and loads and loads.
While it auto saves specific places you can’t save directly where you are currently playing so when you go back in you have to always start at the last auto-save (again, after it loads forever).

The actual gameplay (single player, I haven’t played multiplayer yet) is great. Graphics are good.
    Just so much loading time.

Amazing! If you like the world war 2 feel of was, you’ll love this. The zombies gets back to the roots with some added stuff. They have some boss type characters you have to kill, but you can run around and have fun. I really am glad they came out with this game. I bought an alienware r4 2 months ago and was waiting for this to come out. Very very happy with it. I think it depends on what you like. If you want modern suits and all that stuff it may not be as fun for you. For us cod fans that enjoyed a “boots on the ground” feel it’s really refreshing. I also like how they setup the classes. You can customize it more for the type of player you are(each class, so you can change it mid game). Downloading it is simple. You buy it, copy the code, paste it on steam redeem, and you’re downloading. Have fun!

Last summer (2017) knowing that this game was coming out in the fall I considered buying an Xbox One to play it but since my Dell XPS8700 PC handled Ghosts and Advanced Warfare with little problem I decided to save my money and get the PC version of WWII.

I wish now that I had gotten the Xbox.

In the beginning the game performed fair; there were a few places where it was slow and in the cinematic portions the speech sometimes didn’t match the mouth of the person speaking. Overall it played fine.

That is, until I reached the level where you have to drive a tank and destroy two German tanks before they kill you. There seems to be a real problem with the game reacting to the movement of the mouse. In previous levels there are parts where you have to move the mouse to pick up something and it was slow but I was able to eventually do it. But when you are trying to move the mouse quickly so that the turret will turn and move the tank it simply isn’t reacting fast enough on my machine and I get killed every time.

The game up to that point was enjoyable and I wish that I could finish it.

My recommendation is that unless you have a high-end computer that you avoid the PC version.

Edit on 3/16/2018 – I finally got through that tank level with what I can only assume was a great deal of luck. The rest of the game is pretty good however it seemed to have more cinematic story parts than actual game play, especially towards the end.

Besides the tank level there is another level where using the keyboard and mouse was difficult because you have to pilot a P-38 to protect a convoy of bombers before they are shot done by the German planes. I ended up buying a Logitech gamepad to get through that level and it probably would have helped me in the tank level, too.

I upgraded my video card to one that met the minimum requirements for the game and it helped with the video lag.

Overall I guess I enjoyed the game and going back to the origins of the original COD games.

Too much similarity in campaign from previous CODs, especially COD1 and 2.
I love COD’s storyline in campaign. It is always like an interactive movie. After seeing the trailer videos, I hold a lot expectation on COD WW2 in terms of new storyline, which now feels like a remake of COD 1 and 2 (parallel here, like Star Wars Force Awaken and A New Hope). Modern Warfare’s storyline is revolutionary, so is Black Ops’s. But I don’t see it in COD WW2. No surprise, no plot twist. I am a loyal fans of COD series in terms of its stories, hope you guy’s understand my prospective of this review.

I am not a big gamer. I love WWII games. Grew up playing Call of Duty and Medal of Honor WWII games. Was excited to play this when I pre-ordered. It is an awesome game. I am not into multi-player. The Campaign is well done. Fun to play. It is like watching a movie and playing inside it. Very well done. If you like single player campaigns, you will like this game. I tried playing zombies, it was fun. I then tried multiplayer which I knew going in I wouldn’t like it. Bunch of young kids who don’t have jobs running around shooting you and swearing at you. I lasted about 2 games and gave up. I bought for the solo play and I feel like it is worth it.

Brand new gaming computer, I order this thinking its a CD but find out its not…its a download and you have to use this STEAM service. Takes 2 hours to download onto a virgin disk. NOTE: You are not given a choice on where you want to store it, so it automatically goes to disk C and in my case that is a 512GB M.2. SSD, not myh 2 TB WD Black I have for that purpose. After two hours I try to run the game and get the message FATAL ERROR, disk read “common”. I spend another hour on the Steam support site, find a patch for that purpose and it doesn’t work. Another two hours of searching for a solution and I finally just say the hell with it and do an Amazon return.

I don’t know, maybe most of the customers don’t have a problem with it so good for them. Besides the technical failure, the lack of customer support, what really tees me off is this Steam concept. Games worked fine when they came on a CD; perfect example of a company taking advantage of customers and damaging the customer experience in the process. No thanks.

The product as shown does not run on the platform. When I tried to contact Amazon tech people it’s going on ringing . Total waste of money. I need my money back.
