Super nice guitar. Looks great, sounds nice and easy to play. There is one little defect : the inside of the headstock is poorly paint sprayed.
Amazon Customer –
This guitar is great for me since I am a lefty. I read the reviews, but since I have tried to play other (RH) guitars that were comfortable, I could not do it. So, I decided to go with this FENDER LH Dreadnought.
This thing is BIG. lol.
Had to get use to reaching way over the top of the soundbox to get to the strings. But the sound (and
Privilege to learn to play a GOOD left hand guitar) is worth it.
Felipe Bubolz –
Very nice sound. Good investment for an entry-level guitar. I am totally satisfied.

As the title says I’m a beginner so take that into consideration. I have had this guitar for 11 days and it is not holding me back. I look forward to my lessons everyday so that says something about the guitar. It looks nice and doesn’t impede me at all, I don’t know anything really about set ups and action but this guitar is fun to play! Also after 3 days of tuning and stretching the strings now it holds tune well.

So I will start by saying I am a complete beginner. My new years goal for 2023 was to finally learn to play guitar a bit. I do NOT aspire to be an amazing musician or anything. I’m 38 and a stay at home mom. I want to be able to play songs around the fire pit or sing some Christmas songs with my kids. Basic stuff.
I first ordered a beginner guitar from Amazon that was super cheap. But. When I started playing it, that’s exactly how it felt. Super cheap. I felt like I was playing a toy. So that same week I decided I needed to spend a little more money and get something a bit more real.
I looked and just completely fell in love with the look of this one. I loved the dark wood and the glossy look of this guitar. I was worried about it being too big for me to hold comfortably though.
When it arrived, the look of it was just stunning. I mean. It is GORGEOUS! Everyone who sees this guitar gives me compliments. It IS big for me and at first I thought I might return it but couldn’t bare to part with it since it was so stunning.
Over the past few months that I’ve had it, I’ve gotten used to the size. The size just feels normal now.
I got this in the spring and haven’t devoted much time to trying to learn playing. I mostly watch YouTube videos and did a subscription to the Justin Guitar app for a few months. I can play C, A, G, E, D, a modified F, Em, Am, and Dm. And with my capo that means I can attempt to play many songs.
I don’t really have much to compare this guitar to, except for the cheap guitar I bought first, but this guitar is perfect for me.
It came tuned and has really for the most part stayed in tune. The sound sounds good to me. I share this video of me playing, but be aware that I’m still getting the hang of pressing the strings close enough to the frets/hard enough to have the notes ring out clear without buzzing. I’m still getting the hang of it.
Overall, I think this was a great guitar for me as a complete beginner. I also think it would be perfect for experienced players. It was an AMAZING price! And the look of it is so stunning. The dark wood and glossy finish are jaw-dropping. I’m so pleased with this purchase! And I’m excited to learn to play better.

Great guitar to start learning

First off, this product arrived in perfect condition with no obvious flaws. Tuning was a breeze and not far off out of the box. Keeps in tune well. Playing the guitar was so much simpler for my smaller hands. I gave up playing previously as I had some trouble with the size of a standard guitar. The sound is rich, not “tinny” like you might expect from a smaller guitar. I’m impressed with the complete product and encourage anyone starting out to choose this guitar. Fender consistently pts out a good product.

Good value

It was easy to tune, especially with the free lessons which gives you the opportunity to tune it via your smartphone. The sound is great and the craftsmanship is superb. I can’t wait to learn how to play an actual song.
Jeff Hagen –
The strings were in bad condition but that didn’t surprise me. My main issue is this guitar a had a really bad fret buzz at the ninth fret. I didn’t feel like sending it back so I looked it up on YouTube and filed it myself. This guitar sounds and plays great and it’s nice looking too although my guitar is almost an oxblood color which I don’t mind.
Luke Grimmett –
I purchased this guitar a year ago, my first guitar ever. I’ve learned a tremendous amount of playing and practiced very often since, it has held tune and sang perfectly almost every time since. The stock strings sounded wonderful for months into early this year until i decided to change them to some higher quality, stronger strings, i finally broke the high E. I’ve brought it to festivals, out door events and trips, all over my town state and out of state, it has take falls drops bumps and bashes like it’s made of solid metal. Only so much as a crack at the base top finish. The fret board has worn in good to my playing area, but it’s nothing much more than a stain.
For anyone wanting something simple and adorable this would be the guitar I’ll recommend.
Michel LeBlanc –
The guitar was even better when I saw it, the sound is really impressive and crisp. Worth the money! Come on it’s a Fender!
Megan Bryant –
Bought it for my 10 year old leftie daughter who wants to start playing. It’s on the big side for her but she will grow into it. Sounds great. Body and action are pretty good considering the price point. We have Gibsons and Taylor’s and this fits right in.
