Worth the money. the drums sound good. But like all electronic drums the cymbals are very touchy, you have to hit them just right. Other than that, its fun. I’m a beginner drummer.

(Review based on the $351 sale price) For the amount of money I spent, I can’t imagine getting anything more. Mesh heads. Super durable. Sounds great. Sturdy. Decent module. Unlike the Roland VAD-306 which I also have, this comes with everything you need to setup and play. Worth every dime. Highly recommend.
Only drawback (which I knew before purchase) I wish the snare was a bit bigger. That’s the only negative I can think of.

You can watch general product review on Youtube and etc for general stuff. Here are what I found
1) Kick spring is too soft compare to other kicks so I might think of replacing it.
2) I wish the snare connector to the frame bar is able to adjust 360 degrees instead of just one 90 degrees. I like to setup my snare closer to the middle and because of the setup you can only tilt the snare to left or right instead of towards you. So I ended up leaving it fully horizontal with no tilt.
3) power cord could really be longer. You might need an extention cord.
4) Throne is…. really… okish.. you might think about getting a better one.
5) My crash factory setup sound exceptionally lower than others (but the setting is same) I had to adjust that in the settings to fix it.
Overall the value is good. I am not sure I would be happier if I get the Alesis nitro mesh instead but the price vs feature is pretty similar. May be the DED200 is a better comparison instead.

Bought for my son and he loves them. I love that they are much quieter than his previous real set. To me the sound is incredible, but I am not a musician. Plenty of different things you can do with the sounds. We will likely never use this set to it’s full potential but it works great. Super easy to put together. Only took 20 minutes tops. Would recommend.

Item arrived, tried a couple of days and suddenly lost any sound from the drum set. Some Internal component was generating static and there was not way to pick any sound from cymbals anymore. Tried different suggestions on the web and nothing worked. Amazon misguided me towards retuning the item and 6 months later of fighting back they don’t want refund me leading to a total debt so far of $1k. In a side note Amazon has the worse Customer Service ever.

I am a new drummer just learning the drums. I have probably put a good 15 – 20 hours on it over the last 3 weeks. Unfortunately the most used cymbal, the Hi Hat, already started rattling because 2 screw posts broke right off.
The good: Inexpensive

Decent mesh pads

The module is good enough.

The bad:
The drum throne is for children, Its short and wobbly without much padding. A must replace.
The cymbals have a very small sweet spot and ONE ALREADY BROKE.
Overall I think this would be a great kit for someone under 14 or someone that wont play much. I can tell already that this really doesn’t meet the needs of a serious beginner.
Update: Donner customer service never got back to me on the damaged cymbal so I returned set in all original packaging. Still waiting on refund even though they received return over a week ago. Have to lower my rating for poor customers service in addition to a cheap product. No comparison to my replacement set of another brand. Alesis is much better.
Update #2: Aug.2023 Out of the blue, a year after the initial purchase, Donner customer service contacted me and offered me a replacement drum kit. I thought it was a fake, but they sent me a replacement even though I told them I was going to just give it to my grandson to learn. I will give them credit for reaching out to me. I think it is a great set for my grandson to learn on especially at the price point. I stand by my original review, but have adjusted for customer service trying to make it right. It’s a 4 star kit if its for under 12 or 13 yr olds.

Le produit, par sa constitution, est conforme à mon attente hormis la notice concernant le” sound module” écrite en anglais, ce qui ne respecte pas la législation qui stipule que tout produit commercialisé en France doit comporter une notice écrite en français (article 2425 du 11/10/2012). En conséquence, je vous serais obligé de bien vouloir me faire parvenir dans les meilleurs délais une notice en français car actuellement pour moi, le produit n’est pas utilisable.
Je compte sur votre diligence pour remédier à ce contretemps.

My only downfall for this drum set is that when I paradiddle it just seems like it misses some of my drum strokes and I’m not a professional by any means but I mean I’m really hoping that I can clear it up with a sensitivity but it seems to me that it doesn’t like extremely fast paradiddles
