I am a drummer of over 25 yrs…name brand cymbals was never big to me as I use genric cymbals that sound better than name brands. I always like Sabian and that is the cymbal of my choice..when I saw this deal I knew it wouldn’t disappoint and it didn’t. this is the lower end of Sabian product but u will neve tell it…contructed excellent..better than a u would expect with the hammering done the attention around the outer cymbal for the crash..You can play jazz easily to hard rock!… nice bell on it..i use wooden tips and got a nice ring…technique has a lot to do with stroking the cymbal. So many sounds and lively I wouldn’t dare trade it in for a $300 dollar cymbal that’s crazy..this does the job!

Can’t beat it for the money. Not by a long shot. I have a number of sbr cymbals and am very happy with all of them. They sound good mixed in with B8X’s.

it is what it is…an inexpensive cymbal that makes noise and is fun to hit on when messing around in my basement. it has no special tone, sounds tinny, but makes a cymbal noise – I cannot fault it for not being a professional quality instrument due to the price. the brass is thick and will hold up well with a student. no real sustained tone. no brightness. simply not for a professional nor someone who plays with any kind of group – good for a practice set and for someone like myself who just likes to bang around a drum set every now and then.

You cannot get better cymbals for the price than the Sabian B8 / SBR series. Period. They are tough, they have a nice tone and they are priced right. As a natural enemy and killer of cymbals, I will tell you flat out these are giving me a challenge!

Me encantó. Es liviano pero se siente con cuerpo, me gustaron los sonidos de la campana y pienso que es muy versátil. Llegó antes de tiempo. Es mi primer platillo SBR así que me parece genial.
