Rhonda Williams –
The product came in a few days late, but I was very pleased with it. It came in with very perfect condition. Alot of people say this is a toy, but it does have it’s uses for music. The sound it produces is very much like what you’d expect from a mini-sized conga drum, and the tuning wrench it came with is very helpful to tune it’s head. The product also came with it’s own diagram manual, which I found to be very nice. This is definitely a good and cheaper-priced instrument to have if you can’t afford an actual sized conga drum.

Product Dimensions are wrong on description
H = 11 and NOT 11.5
W =5.8 and NOT 7.5 the widest part on drum’s shell not the top where the drum’s head is.
The diameter of the rim is 5 and NOT x 7.5 inches
The drum’s head itself is 3.75
Very disappointed with incorrect product dimensions.
Going back for return, they should put the correct dimensions so they’re no surprises when product arrives.
These are the correct dimensions for this product please see attached pic

If you’re looking for a toy drum that makes a lot of noise, this is not it. However it is built pretty close to the high standards of my other LP drums, plus it has the feel of the others. I use it to play while sitting in my lounge chair. I find it perfect for practicing finger beats, and my speed has increased dramatically. An additional plus, is because of relatively low volume, I don’t bother others. The head is not large enough to do a hand heal/finger beat, but I wanted something small, and I like it a lot

Esta hermoso el instrumento!

This drum (can it really be called a conga at this size? let’s just stick to drum…)
is a real instrument. The construction of the shell and the quality of the head,
hoop and tensioners all indicate that this is not a toy — it’s meant to be played.
But you should know that this a very small drum — the head diameter is about
3 1/2″. So it can’t really be played like a conga, especially in terms of getting
any kind of a bass note with the palm of your hand (the palm of your hand
practically covers the entire head). But for what it is, it sounds great. As a finger
drum, it sounds more like something from South Asia than from South or Central
America. Very nice ring tone. I like this drum a lot, but mostly just to fool around
with. I can’t imagine it being very useful as an accompaniment to anything other
than maybe a single acoustic guitar, and I can’t really imagine it being part of a
larger percussion ensemble. But as a “apartment drum”, it’s great!

Artikel wie beschrieben. Lieferzeit war okay. Verpackung etwas sparsam.

For a very little drum is has a decent sound. The key thing to remember it is very little. I bought this as part of a set to bring with me to acoustic jam sessions with friends and to give to other folks there so they had something to do while the rest of us were playing.
Nice tone, very light – but again – it does have a small playing surface. You don’t get the full range you’d get on a regular conga. As I bought it as a drum for guests and/or non band members to play, I can’t complain. Just remember it isn’t a replacement or one of the smaller drums with the full range of playability.
On the other hand, it does make for a cool decorative object in my music room.

It’s pretty great. Perfect size with an actual conga sound. Obviously it’s a mini, its for mini jams, with other mini instruments, because the sound does not carry very well at all. That’s to be expected and not a complaint! Still love it.

I wanted a small conga for fun. This drum is just what I was looking for. It is a small finger drum. Very handy and fun. I don’t see it’s use as anything other a small well built, good sounding personal fun drum. But creative musicians may find a more significant use in the percussion section or a functional prop for a singer.
