Nach nun über 2 Jahren schreibe ich nun meine Bewertung.
Ich bin sehr überzeugt von meinem Schatz.
Sie spricht sauber an, man kann mit ihr leicht spielen, aber auch bei starkem pressing klingt sie immernoch nach einer Trompete.
Leider muss ich sagen das die Verarbeitung der Wasserklappen und der Ventile nicht sonderlich gut sind.
Die Ventile haben das Innenleben sehr in Anspruch genommen und deswegen läuft das erste auch nicht mehr ganz so gut wie die anderen, aber immernoch so gut das man ohne weiteres alles spielen kann.
In den höheren Lagen (ab f3) muss man bisschen mit den Lippen den Ton justieren, aber bis dahin rastet alles sauber ein.
Auch oktavsprünge sind kein Problem.
Wie bei vielen Trompeten in diesem Preissegment muss auch hier beim eingestrichenen „d“ der trigger genutzt werden sonst ist man einfach Welten von dem entfernt was man treffen will 😏
Zum Konzert im großen Orchester bin ich aber auf eine Bach Stradivarius umgesattelt, passte besser zum Orchesterbild und ich hatte die 2. Stimme zu spielen, was viele „d‘s“ mit sich gebracht hat.

Im allgemeinen kann ich diese Trompete aber allemal empfehlen. Gerade für Anfänger ist sie wunderbar.

My Olds Special, bought in 1963, is a better quality instrument. But, this Roy Benson RBTR402C, is OK. It has a little better tone than I had expected. {My expectations were not high.} I could not afford a better quality instrument. If you can afford it, go for a better horn.

I bought this trumpet because it was convertible to B flat or C. It is definitely a student quality trumpet but I haven’t played horn since the fifth grade until fall of 2013 when we rented a Yamaha from local shop for my fifth grade son to use. The Yamaha seemed a little better quality but was b flat only. The RB sounds good to my non-professional ear and all parts work correctly and look good. I had a little problem with the valves and slides moving until I used valve oil and slide grease on the appropriate pieces. This is the first brand new instrument I’ve bought so that may be normal or not. I read in another review that this horn may not have been looked at by a technician since it left the factory.

im a beginner, play all through high school, now i played at church and wanted an affordable trumpet that doesn’t get the valve stuck when i play, and this trumpet is it. quality is good, play alot better than the 200 dollar trumpet i got at Sam’s club.

This instrument has a decent sound for the price. It works well as a C trumpet for those players who don’t like to transpose, e.g. church hymns. For those persons interested in only the Bb trumpet, I would recommend purchasing a dedicated Bb instrument.
