Look and feel on initial impression was great and I have been a fan of UAG for many years. That’s why I am disappointed here. The magnetic charging pad stopped working at 6 months. This thing gets super hot and actually melted the glue that holds on a rubber buffer ring. Which was a little annoying but it works fine without it and I only charge my phone on my night stand so was not too worried about it scratching my UAG case. Then at 6 months it just stopped working. Cable still works fine, however it’s a little short at just 4ft, it has good build quality. Over all I would say at this price point , I am disappointed in it’s short life, and expected more from a UAG product.

This is a crappy charger. I love UAG products but this has let me down. It runs hotter then normal magsafe chargers I’ve used. I had this charger for about a month using with the supplied cable and a 45w anker block. Only gave it an extra star because it looks cool.

If you need a super durable wireless charging pad, then this UAG is Awesome! The wireless charger is built really tough and has a great feel to it. You can tell its a quality product just by picking it up. The rubberized materials that coat it give it a nice textured feel and its size and design look great. I has a tough but futuristic design.
The magnet in it is very strong and it will easily stick to the MagSafe cases with ease. The Charging is really good and charges it about as fast as most phones will allow, up to 15V. The cable is also very solid and has a nice sheath around it with durable connectors that will last. If you do a lot of traveling or are constantly on the go, then this is the charger for you. The wireless pad even has a kickstand built into it so that you can charge and view and use your phone at the same time.
Like other UAG products, they have a great warranty program and I have yet to have a UAG product go bad on me. I highly recommend this wireless charger, as one of the most modern, fastest, and toughest I have used yet. 5 Stars all the way around!

Had this charger by the bedside for awhile before I moved it into the kitchen. Once in the kitchen, everyone wanted to use it. Mainly because the magnet in the charger adhere’s to anyone’s case and it makes sure getting the charger lined up so much easier. Plus it can take the wear and tear from careless teens pretty well, thanks to the tough construction. Also, turns out it is made by one of my favorite case companies. I took this charger on a trip and it was great for travel at airport charging stations and on unknown hotel bedstands. All in all, get this chrager, you won’t be sorry.

I know, kinda’ expensive for a mag case charger. However, this is all metal, including the kick-stand; it is sturdy!
My phone charges quickly with this and I like that I can either stand up my phone or just lay it down. I have not had any heating issues with this, which can be common with wireless charging pads.
My only gripe with this is the USB-C port is at an upward angle when the stand it in the normal position, however, you can stand it up even if the stand is at an angle. I would have preferred the plug to be at a more neutral or slightly downward angle…. however, the cord is sturdy so it can take it.
By far the nicest and most robust wireless charger I have or have ever seen!

This UAG MagSafe charging kickstand charges a iPhone both flat and with the kickstand extended. The style and design of the kickstand fits nicely with the UAG iPhone case. Although the charging stand doesn’t have a battery built in, it is compact and portable for travel wherever I need to charge my phone and also prop it upright for watching videos and other content. The stand works with or without the iPhone MagSafe case installed.
It would be nice if this stand could double as an iPhone continuity camera stand that clips onto a laptop screen or computer monitor for use as a webcam for video calls because the wireless charging would help keep the iPhone charged while being used as a webcam and also would make it easily removable since it’s MagSafe. A 1/4”-20 screw thread would also be a nice option for mounting the kickstand to a standard camera tripod or other stand.

My favorite part about this charger is that the cord unplugs from it. However, unless you have a case that has a mag ring that ‘swivels’ you’re in for a bout of constant readjustment if you want to use the kickstand. It only works when it angled ‘just right’.
Its a sturdy mag safe charger, but you’re really paying for the brand name and ‘rugged’ look.
There isn’t much use to the pad itself except for when you’re charging. It is too bulky and impractical to have on your phone for much else. The cord it comes with is nice and sturdy.
The best use for this would be to charge your phone and have it on the nightstand/standby mode.
