I bought this charger mainly for my gaming laptop (ASUS TUF Dash F15) which has a 76Wh battery. I don’t like carrying the original charger around when I have to take my laptop for my classes or other work. This charger is perfect for that regard. From my observations in normal use the laptop takes 1 hour to charge up to 80%. But if I’m not using the laptop it takes around 40 minutes to reach 80% battery. The compact size of the charger means it’s very easy to carry as well. With the cable included I think this is the best 100W charger if you don’t need extra ports.

Updated Review:
Anker support reached out to me saying that the throttling is expected and they will ensure that notes about this behavior will be added to the product listing. I’m increasing my rating as I believe even at a throttled wattage of 70w, it is still an excellent amount of output for its size and a charger worth buying as long as consumers are made aware of the throttling behavior. I appreciate Anker for being willing to take feedback and update missing details accordingly.

Original Review:
I was very excited to purchase this charger as it is probably the smallest 100w charger in existence. Unfortunately, it appears that this small size results in heat dissipation issues. I tested this charger in a 25c room with a sustained 100w load and observed throttling to 70w within around 20 minutes. This behavior was consistent throughout multiple trials. I measured the temperature of the charger to hit around 70c on the casing before throttling soon begins.
If you do not need continuous 100w of power, then this charger is probably fine. However, I purchased this charger to charge my Anker Prime 27,650mah power bank which is capable of recharging at 100w for over 40 minutes straight and this charger is unable to sustain that. In my opinion, it is slightly misleading to call this a 100w charger if it can only maintain 100w for around 20 minutes.

Fastest my iPhone and all other devices has ever charged. It only takes approximately 40 mins for my iPhone to be charged from 20% to 80%

One of the advantages of moving more and more devices (including high wattage devices such as laptops) move to charging over USB-C is that you can potentially consolidate to a single charger. But many USB-C laptops still include chunk power bricks of one form or another – and if you were only carrying one charger, wouldn’t you want it to be as small as possible?
Enter this new entry from Anker, a trusted name in chargers and other accessories, in the form of the Nano 100W – and it is named quite appropriately as it is indeed very small. But despite it’s small size, this charger packs a punch delivering up to 100W (depending on the device on the other end of the cable of course) to quickly charge everything from small devices and phones up to many USB-C PD equiped laptops. You do only get one USB-C port (as a consequence of the device being so small), so that is a trade off / consideration if you want to charge multiple devices at the same time.
Overall, the charger just works – the plug prongs unfold from the body, you plug it in and you get power to whatever USB-C cable you plug into it (the included USB-C to USB-C 6ft cable is a nice one but others work too of course). The Nano 100W does seem to be very well-made (as are all of Anker’s chargers) and should prove to be very durable.
And that’s sort of that – so if you could use a 100W single power charger in a tiny size (perhaps for travel usage), this is a GREAT option. Give it a try today!

It never ceases to amaze me how powerful and how small chargers are getting. Just a couple years ago chargers with 100 watt rating were either huge, got really hot, or both. Heck even some new ones still get scalding hot.
This Anker Nano charger really shows how far charging technology has come. It’s one of the smallest charging bricks I own and yet one of the most powerful. Despite that it never gets hot when I use it. Warm? Sure, but never hot. It does only have one port, which is a little bit of a downer, but if you only need to charge one device then it’s a non-issue. In all honesty, with 100 watts of power, you’re going to be charging your devices quick enough that the one port might not be that limiting.
This charger handled everything I threw at it and without and warnings or charging errors. My ROG Ally hit its 30 watt Turbo profile and my laptop charged at it’s full 100 watts over PD. My Pixel 9 Pro XL also rapid charged which I was super pleased with because I was a little worried Google might implement some weird charging standard for it’s fast charging. This device now lives in my electronic bag so that I, or my kids, always have a strong enough charger for our devices while we’re out.
If you want a lot of ports then this isn’t the charger for you, but if you want a powerful charger in a small form factor that you can throw in any pocket or bag, then this is exactly what you want.

I bought one Anker Nano as a charger to leave in my backpack for my laptop, tablet, and phone.
My laptop: Dell XPS 17 – charges at 90w (My laptop only supports 130w or 90w, so in this case it falls back to 90)
My phone: Pixel 7 Pro – says “charging rapidly”. I think this means it’s charging at its maximum speed of 23w.
My tablet: Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra – 45w / “super fast charging 2.0”. This is the maximum speed supported by my tablet.
What’s funny is that this charger is smaller than the 25w Samsung charger I had before, but delivers so much more!
AWESOME PURCHASE. Totally recommended!
