Not worth the price would rather spend 200 more and get a legit projector.

This is a disappointing product. There is very limited picture adjustment, and the presets provide dull pictures from my streaming product. Streamed color movies look like colorized B&W, black and white are also flat.
Went with Lycos because I previously owned a Canon realis, which was ten times the price when introduced.

So far,,so good. We were able to connect it to our android phones and tablets with no problem. Good for the money. We’ve only used it once at home, but we got it for outdoor camping. Hopefully it will continue to amaze, being that it is refurbished.

This is my first projector. Overall it is pretty good. easy to use and easy to pair with my Bluetooth speaker.
However, it cannot mirror my screen to the projector even I have downloaded the Miracast.

Surprisingly good for a small package. The picture is decent in a lighted (not very brightly lit) room. Picture is sharp. There’s a remote too. The power brick weighs as much as the projector itself.

The refurb I bought said manufacturer warranty, but really is warranted by some reseller. It works, so can’t complain.

This product sucked. I ordered it and when it arrived, the bottom half of the display looked as if it was shattered. Returned it immediately.

This is my first projector. It is very convenient to to use with ChromeCast. Clear enough for me when it is dark. Great quality at this price.

I purchased this little projector as a gift for my brother. I tested it out when it arrived to make sure everything was working. I own a traditional Viewsonic projector, so I am able to comment on the differences between a traditional projector and an LED projector. The thing that is important to understand about an LED projector is that it is designed to be ultra portable by not requiring an electric outlet (although it can run continuously with one), which allows you to watch a movie pretty much anywhere you can project an image onto a portable screen, sheet, or wall. Because LED bulbs are considerably less bright than traditional projector bulbs, you will need a dark or very low light area to project your image onto. That is not to say you can’t see an image in a brighter lit room, but it will likely be a disappointing ‘washed out’ image to you if you are in a brighter setting.

I was very impressed by this unit, in that it is actually an HD resolution (even though it is only 1280×720). Most other LED projectors in this price range like the popular Anker Nebula Capsule (original) are only 854×480. Don’t let the LED projector companies HD claims fool you. Yes the LED projector may be able to play a higher resolution movie like Bluray, but it is presenting the image in a down-sampled resolution of the projector itself (not the resolution of the Bluray disc or media which is 1920 x 1080). The company is merely saying it can play content that is higher resolution than the projector’s actual specs.

Another advantage of this little LG is that it’s contrast is 100,000:1 versus the Anker Nebula Capsule which is 400:1. That means the nuances between the light and dark pixles on the screen are brighter and vibrant the higher the contrast ratio is. The LG projector is also 133 Lumens versus the Anker Nebula Capsule which is 100 Lumens. The higher the Lumens, the brighter the image that can be displayed.

I also appreciate the LG’s ability to auto level a picture. So say you have the projector on a night stand, and you need the projector to throw its image higher up a wall than where it is directly beaming the image to, so you place a book under the front end of the projector to angle the image up higher, the projector will automatically adjust the image being displayed so that the image compensates for the angle of the picture being displayed to give a more pleasing ‘leveled’ image.

One other thing I want to mention is that when I gave the projector to my brother we ended up watching Youtube videos from his phone. Rather than using the built in battery, my brother plugged in the charger chord into the projector so he didn’t have to worry about battery life. Later, he got up and forgot about the little projector being plugged in to the wall and he tripped over the power chord which sent the little LG projector flying across the room and it hit the hard surface floor! I thought for sure it would have damaged the projector as hard as it hit, but the little guy worked just fine! While I hope you never have something like that happen to yours, it at least can give some peace of mind that the projector was built to be a bit more rugged.
