I had a bunch of DVDs I wanted to show my youngest, but couldn’t find a working DVD player. I ordered this one, but the reviews were mixed. It worked for us, remote and all!

I first ordered this LG Blue Ray player in the belief that it would meet all of my needs by being able to not only play both DVD’s and Blue Ray discs, as well as provide access to a basic level of streaming services, like YouTube, Amazon Prime and Netflix …considering anything else would be a plus.
However, this unit seemed buggy from the very moment I plugged it in and connected it to my TV monitor via a direct access of the HDMI cable provided. It wasn’t long after that we noticed it kept on dropping the wireless streaming capability by simply dropping the signal and then waiting for it to reestablish it by making us start from the beginning. If that wasn’t enough to be the last straw, the DVD player was just as buggy.
Frankly my perspective is very simply jaded having had a BluRay player that lasted for at least 10 years before biting the dust, compared to this unit that didn’t last 2 weeks before deciding that it was likely just a production line lemon that could simply be replaced with a new unit of the same model. So I returned it to Amazon for an direct exchange …pretty easily accomplished. However, when I set up the replacement model, it too was buggy from the get go. Who knows why this would be the case since we’re really talking about component types of electronics that shouldn’t have such issues, but frankly, I returned the replacement unit for a full refund.
My advice is to steer clear of this LG Brand unit. I finally decided upon another manufacturer’s model and hope to have better success with it. As of this writing on November 28th, I have yet to receive a refund that was promised to be handled 2 to 3 days following their receiving the return on November 12th …which has got me more than a bit ticked off.

A good product. Link very well with my 4K TV & the output excellent. The audio is also very good. Able to play all my original bluray discs & also able to play those I burned on the PC

LG BP350 $85 INTERNET RECEPTION POOR EVEN SITTING INSAME ROOM WITH ROUTER. GREAT PICTURE WITH BLUE RAY OR DVD PLAYS WELL. I BOUGHT THIS FOR IT CAPABILITY OF INTERNET RECEIVING, BECAUSE I DID NOT HAVE SMART TV AND TV IS WORKING GREAT. WANTED TO GET NET FLIX AND PRIME.
SET IT UP AND HAD ALL RECEPTION AT 100% ,BUT THE PICTURE WOULD FREEZE AND THE ONLY WAY TO GET IT TO CONTINUE IS TO UNPLUG IT. WHEN IT FROZE IT WOULD NOT LET YOU EXIT GO TO HOME OR TURN OFF. ALSO LOADING TOOK FOREVER .
SO AS FOR A DVD OR BLUE RAY PLAYER ITS GREAT AND WAS UNDER $100 ,AS FOR INTERNET CAPABLE NOT SO MUCH . I OWN TWO OTHER LG BLUE RAY & DVD PLAYERS AND LOVE THEM .THESE ARE AN EARLIER MODEL WITH NO INTERNET CAPABILITY PAID $90 TO $120 FOR THEM .SO AS FOR PRICE IF YOU WANT INTER NET ON PLAYER DO NOT BUY THIS ONE.

This is a decent DVD player. The picture quality is good. But I noticed that if you try to fast forward or rewind there are 3 speeds and the highest speed is not super fast. I hope this one lasts because I just replaced my last one which I had for about 10-12 years. This one is more compact and small. That’s ok as long as the quality is there. It’s hard to tell. It works good so far. The one concern I have is the remote. It’s flimsy and cheap quality. There is an LG app you can use on your phone to control the DVD player. The reviews are not great for the app, but so far it has been working fine. I am using that to get some longevity from the physical remote. I am satisfied so far, but I’m questioning the lifespan of this product.
