Desde que vi la caja y la abrí se notaba la calidad del producto y detalle en tido. La barra gue muy sencilla de sincronizar con al app, lo conecte por HDMI eARC a mi TV y el sonido es muy excelente, tiene muy buen sonido, mi sala es de tamaño mediano y suena increíble, lo puse a todo volumen y no hay distorsión de audio. Estoy muy conforme con mi compra.

I have been a fan of Sonos wireless sound equipment for years. In a house we recently bought, there is a guest apartment over the garage. I put a 55″ smart TV in the apartment and bought this Sonos Beam for the TV and as a speaker for wireless use by our guests (read, our adult children and their spouses and sig others). It works great as expected. Sonos rocks (literally).

Excellent sound. It has far more value than its size. No issues at all. Amazing controls in app. Works flawlessly with app and tv remote set up was so easy. Love it – sound quality remains great at at its peak value. After all “SONOS” is “SONOS” – no question. Most of all Packaging, it’s cloth cover, and early delivery loved it.

Full disclosure, I am a big fan of Sonos speakers (Arc, Sub, One’s, etc.). This Beam is a great addition to our kitchen/sitting area helping us hear the tv better and play music as well. As with my past experiences, setup only took a few minutes and the Beam joined the rest of our Sonos speakers. Even without a sub, it’s nice to have richer sound and a little depth too. Highly recommend (especially when on sale)

I normally don’t write reviews unless the product goes way beyond expectations. This is one truly amazing sound bar. Easy to set up and crisp sound. The sound is a bit mind blowing in the fact it produces sounds that appear to be coming from different parts of the room. Movies such as Dune sound so good it’s like watching a different movie. Games such as Halo are mesmerizing but you have to do a little setup with your Xbox…no fault of Sonos. I do not recommend the bar if you are limited to only an optical cable. To get the full benefits of the bar I strongly recommend a TV with ARC / eARC. Great for smaller rooms and 55 inch and under TV. Bottom line this sound bar sounds better than many home theater systems.

I have never tried a Sonos product. Really had high hopes for this soundbar. I am tech savvy and have set up soundbars for every member in my family. Rediculous that you need a cell phone app to set this up instead of a simple little remote. I was able to set it up but the Sonos app was made for iPhones! I should have done more research before purchasing. I would of seen the issues with the Sonos app for Android phones. I have a brand new Samsung Galaxy so I am 100% confident it wasn’t my phone. There are some features of this soundbar that cannot be set up with the Android version of the Sonos app and are only available on the iPhone version. Rediculous! Also I was unable to mute the sound with my TV remote. It would mute for a few seconds then sound would come back on (I tried x10). I did all the trouble shooting steps listed on the Sonos website. All of the above is unacceptable for a $500 soundbar. Returning it asap! Buyer be warned that the app is problematic and I read also glitchy for iPhone users too.

I installed this in my camping trailer. It’s the perfect compromise. Sounds great, can be played at full volume with absolute minimal distortion, if I had excess money, I would buy a subwoofer (but not for $600-800!); it’s not really necessary unless you really, really have to bother the neighbors. The emulated atmos isn’t that noticeable, but it creates an immersive sound envelope and it sure beats the pants off of the cheap soundbar the OEM put in there.

I would call myself a picky customer about audio products, and this sound bar meets all my expectations!
Sound Quality: I’ve never heard better bass in any other soundbars. I would say it’s even more solid and powerful than those with subwoofers. The performance with gaming and movies is just perfect! Other frequencies are also beautiful.
Sound stage: please note that this soundbar is only 65cm wide, but the left/right channel contents are separated very clearly. In most cases, it requires a 1.5m+ soundbar or two speakers placed wide enough to have clear left/right content, otherwise the left/right sound might be mixed. Another fancy thing is that there is a wall to the left side of my soundbar, but I think Sonos uses some magic to tweak the speaker to adjust according to your home surroundings. I feel the sound is perfectly balanced.
Connections: I don’t use Apple, and it does NOT support Bluetooth, but I only use it with S/PDIF with my PC, so it doesn’t bother me.
Overall it’s the best soundbar I’ve heard so far.

Pros:

This sound bar sounds great, especially considering it’s just one piece. Setting it up was really easy. The sound is clear, balanced, and accurate. It also has a surround sound feel to it. It was easy to use with Spotify.
It doesn’t come with a separate subwoofer, so it doesn’t have window-rattling bass. But that’s ok with me. I live in an apartment and I didn’t want to be a jerk to my neighbors. The bass is still much more solid than anything you’d get from TV speakers.
Cons:
1. App has some room for improvement.
I’d say the app is adequate, but personally I found the user experience to be a bit clunky. For example, the Speech Enhancement function is unlabeled and in a separate location from most of the other settings, which I thought was strange.

La Sonos Beam de segunda generación es un producto de muy buena calidad, tiene la capacidad añadida de simular Dolby Atmos (especialmente aprovechada con películas compatibles y con Xbox).
Los materiales de construcción, como es de esperar de la marca, son de excelente calidad, además de que su configuración es sumamente fácil de realizar. Para poder aprovechar al máximo sus cualidades, es necesario que tu televisor tenga eARC, de lo contrario, con ARC no podrás aprovechar todo (pero es suficiente en algunas ocasiones).
En cuanto al sonido, dependerá completamente de tu entorno. Por ejemplo, si estás en una recámara pequeña y utilizas el TruePlay (tristemente solo se puede hacer con dispositivos iOS) seguramente será suficiente para llenar tu cuarto con el sonido de las películas o videojuegos; peeeeeeero, si estás en una sala o una recámara más grande, es probable que sientas que hace falta un poco de fuerza en las frecuencias graves, por lo que sí vería necesario comprarse el Subwoofer.
En cuanto a la calidad de sonido en general es buena: diálogos bastante bien logrados, efecto de altura lo suficientemente bueno para ser una simulación y no tener parlantes apuntando hacia arriba y rebote el sonido. Cuando escuchas música se siente muy bien.
¿Qué aconsejaría yo, personalmente?
1.- Si estás en una recámara pequeña, llenará totalmente tu cuarto y podrás disfrutar muchísimo de tus películas y videojuegos, sin lugar a dudas y probablemente sin necesidad de añadir un subwoofer (quizá, si existiera uno más pequeño, sería un gran añadido).
2.- Si quieres tener Alexa, y aparte tener una gran barra de sonido por un precio no tan exagerado (como su hermana mayor, la Sonos Arc).
3.- Si es de tus primeros o tu primer producto de Sonos y piensas ampliarlo con el tiempo.
– Aquí hago paréntesis: a mi consideración (y remarco, es solo una opinión), valdría muchísimo la pena comprar la Sonos Beam más dos Sonos One SL para tener un efecto surround y sigue siendo más barato que la Sonos Arc y tendrás un sistema completamente envolvente y ahorras un poco más.
– Segundo paréntesis: después de hacer ese sistema, agrégale el subwoofer y es de las mejores opciones que puedas conseguir en el mercado.
En fin, ¿la recomiendo?
Sí, definitivamente.
¿Me compro esta barra más dos Sonos One en lugar de la Sonos Arc?
Sí.
¿Necesito subwoofer?
Hay un dicho que dice que sí, que siempre será mejor tener un subwoofer a no tenerlo, pero con calma, esfuerzo y ahorro se puede lograr un gran sistema de sonido.

La barra de sonido es de muy buena calidad, muy sencilla de instalar y configurar. Gran calidad de frecuencias altas, medias y bajas. Si lo que buscas es un producto que se conecte en red (wifi) o cableada (ethernet), versátil, de gran calidad y sin tanto cable, Sonos es la opción. Incluso si tienes más bocinas de la marca, puedes escuchar en un sistema multi habitación o de forma independiente. La instalé en mi recámara y cubre muy bien el espacio, aun cuando es una recámara relativamente grande. La Sonos app tiene muchas interfases a apps externas como Spotify, TuneIn, incluso radio Sonos (propietario) con opciones muy interesantes para escuchar géneros y artistas diversos. Hasta allí todo bien… pero… la App en sí creo que es una herramienta muy ambiciosa pero mal terminada ya que presenta fallas frecuentes, desconexiones hacia las aplicaciones hacia las que tiene interfase, en fin. Leí que incluso el Board de directores de Sonos han dado explicaciones de que es una app en proceso de mejora, ojalá lo hagan realidad. Definitivamente es un producto y marca estrella, incluso comparado con competidores fuertes y de calidad como Bose, si mejoran la app va a ser un producto de época. Definitivamente recomiendo la barra y los productos Sonos.
