VIVO Universal Tabletop TV Stand For 22-65 Inch LCD

I purchased this for a 35” Seiko that I took out of my motor home. It was pretty easy to put together but would have been nice if the instructions where in larger format. The metal is very thick and sturdy. The only complaint I have is there are four nuts to attach to screws. Three of the four had their tops break off. Not a big deal as you can’t see it, but never the less aggravating looking for them on the floor. There is cellophane that contains all the screws and tools in separate compartments. It’s a bit difficult figuring which to use. What I liked is that the manufacturer put many extra screws in the set so you have what ever size you need for the back of your TV. None of the TV connections were blocked by the frame. It attached firmly and securely. I wasn’t sure if the long part of the feet went up front or back so I put it frontwards and put my Blue Ray player on it with the Satellite box on top. You can put the TV up high or low. I choose the lowest setting which still gave me all the room on the bottom. The feet has felt you attach to it so it doesn’t scratch your furniture. Overall, this is an excellent product.

This review is for the 22″ to 65″ (STAND-TV00Y) Steel Leg Stand. This is working perfectly for us and seems to be well worth the purchase. In our living room we have a Samsung UN55J6200 55″ HDTV with a DefTech ProCenter 1000 speaker positioned in front of it; on the stock base, the TV sat so low that the center channel speaker intruded ~1″ into our view. This wasn’t a terrible problem with movies (since many movies these days exceed the 16:9 ratio and leave black bars at the top/bottom even on a widescreen TV), but it definitely interfered with games by obscuring text and status bars.

The VIVO stand was easily assembled in only ~15 minutes, and mated right up to the TV with the correct choice of mounting hardware (all included in the package). Whereas the stock base was flimsy and allowed the TV to wobble about disconcertingly when it was touched/bumped even lightly, the VIVO stand is significantly more sturdy; there is now very little flex in the TV’s stance even with greater applied force. We also think the VIVO stand, with the center channel speaker nestled between its feet, manages to look cleaner than the stock base. Most importantly, of course (for our needs, at least), the VIVO stand raised the TV high enough to clear the center channel, so we no longer have an obscured view of the screen.

Our bedroom TV setup does not have an issue with screen height versus center channel speaker, but we expect that future replacement TVs will — they all seem to sit low these days. When we replace the bedroom TV, we will likely ditch the new stock base right away and purchase another VIVO stand.

Update: We purchased a Vizio E55-F1 UHD TV for the bedroom and immediately had to find a replacement for the stock stand (they use little feet that are placed too wide for our furniture). We went with the same VIVO set, and it’s working great.

I bought this for the same reason as everyone else it seems. My TV cabinet was JUST a bit short to put my new TV on top that has the legs on the outer edges instead of a center stand. It wound up actually fitting on top of my cabinet with the supplied legs. I noticed it would probably fit with the legs after assembling these legs onto the TV and putting it on the stand.

I was very impressed at how sturdy the legs are. Setup was very straightforward but I believe some of the parts were mislabeled on the instructions. No problem though as the pictures were clear and easy to follow. It fit perfectly on the back of my Vizio 55″ TV and I like that you can choose how high your TV sits above the feet with the various holes in the back of the stand. This is the perfect solution to the ‘my TV feet are too wide for my cabinet!!’ problem like I had.

My only complaint and it’s not really a complaint is that the feet are perhaps a little TOO long. They stick out several inches in front of the screen and hinder putting a soundbar right in front of the TV. I would have had to put the TV farther back on the stand to fit the soundbar in front and not on the feet themselves which would have looked dumb. But I guess the feet are like that for safety and stability. But for someone who likes the TV area to look nice to, it’s a minor complaint.

Item arrived quickly and in perfect order. I’m experienced at putting things together, but it probably took me 15-20 minutes, which was longer than I expected. The instructions are simple (illustrations) but several of the pieces are quite similar and it’s worth taking the time to properly sort it all out and test-fit some screws. Also, I recall that the main set of screws (used to put the legs together) were not clearly identified by number and I had to guess. It seemed obvious, however, there are a lot of extra screws provided–because this is a universally adaptable unit and they might be needed to screw the unit to other TV models–and before I had clearly organized it in my mind, the unlabelled screws had me worried. Anyway, in the end, it went together well and has the heft and solidity of a quality product. It holds the TV very securely and I am very pleased with it. Definitely recommend it, and would purchase again.
