Great design that can hold a large TV securely. Love the ability to swivel the TV with ease. Easy to assemble and attach TV. It does take two people to attach a large TV. Highly recommend this stand. I liked it so much I bought a second one for another location.

This stand is VERY well made. My TV is 55″ and 61 lbs so it holds it easy. Love the easy swivel. It was the only stand I found that wasn’t made with tempered glass! This thing is tough and will hold many future TVs easily. Its built to last. Yes its a little pricey but I am totally convinced this isn’t going to break or fall over and my expensive TV is safely held with this. I also ran the name by a friend who builds/remodels houses & he recognized the name and said these are excellent well made stands. He also said the wall mounts were great too. The super in my building says the same! I had a mixing bowl made of tempered glass, one day I heard an explosion in my cabinet, opened the door and it had exploded into little pieces! It was just sitting there! I’ve also read about table top tempered glass exploding as well, all on their own, nothing touching it or hitting it. So no way am I trusting a tempered glass base to protect my TV. I was able to put this together easily. My TV is big and heavy so it took 2 people to hang it on the stand. THIS IS A STURDY WELL BUILT STAND! Thank you!

This stand has worked out perfectly for my brand new 77″ LG G3 television.
Prior to ordering this stand I purchased another product (PERLESMITH Swivel Universal TV Stand Mount for 32-80 Inch TVs). I don’t wish to case aspersions on that product but it didn’t work out for me at all. The base was made of tempered glass and although it looked sharp it didn’t fill me with confidence in its strength. The base of this stand is made of steel and has a much larger footprint giving me the confidence it won’t fall over or even wobble when my dogs go a bit crazy playing in the living room. As a note, if you have a sound bar you will most likely be putting the sound bar on top of the base and not in front of it as the base is quite deep, unless you have a very narrow sound bar and/or a very deep entertainment stand.
With the other product, when the TV was hung it was allowed to dip about an inch off level on the right side of the television (when looking at the screen from my seat). That product had no ability to be leveled and this stand does. Using this stand, once hung there is a screw at the mounting point that when tightened or loosened raises or lowers the side of the TV so as to level the TV. This feature alone was the reason for keeping this stand and returning the other.
It took all of 5 minutes to put together and the TV itself attaches to the stand in a very simple way; just by hanging the slot in the TV mount to the hook in the stand. Of course, depending on the weight of your TV this could be a very daunting task as was mine having a 77″ TV. It did take a couple of tries to get it right as it’s near impossible to see what you’re doing if you don’t have a lot of room between the back of the TV and the wall like I do. The base is sturdy and has a unique hollow feature that lets you run the cables and cords down though the base and out the back. Just plan out all your moves and cable runs before you lift your heavy TV up onto the stand and realize you need to take it off just to pre-run cables.
Another nice feature about this stand is that it allows for a wide degree of swiveling to the left and right once the TV is mounted. You may not need this feature but it is nice to have. The instructions also state that much like the adjustable screw that allows you to level the TV, there is an adjustable screw that allows you to adjust the vertical angle of the television. I did not need to adjust the vertical angle as a perfect 90º was already dialed in and perfect for my viewing.
All in all, this stand – although more expensive than most – is worth every penny. Why would I spend over $3000 on a TV and trust a “cheap” stand? I wouldn’t and you shouldn’t either. This is the best stand that I’ve found for my new purchase and I can highly recommend it to you. I hope this review was helpful for you in some way. Cheers!

Because of a bathroom remodel which affected a bedroom wall, we needed to remove the TV from its wall mount for three months. I didn’t believe this stand could really hold a 65 inch flat screen, but it sure does. It went together easily. The TV mounted to it easily. The stand is very sturdy. The stand is innocuous. The stand was worth the money.

Pivots great to various parts of the room. Great product for our 65inch TV. Works better than I expected. And, better than doing a wall mount that I would have done, easy.

According to Sanus, this model is made for Amazon and is the same as the VSTV2. If you call Sanus, they don’t have any specific information on the model. It’s not listed on their website either.
I used this stand for a Sony XR-77A95L. The mounting instructions for this stand state that the support bars must be centered on the back of the TV. The VESA mounts for this Sony TV are not centered on the back, are quite low as the bottom mount hole is only 3″ from the bottom of the screen. Finding a supportive stand, with this model tv and it’s low center of gravity, is a challenge.
A Sanus rep told me that if I mounted the vertical bar flush with the the lower horizontal bar, that would ensure a stable mount. I can vouch for that. This stand is very stable in a fixed position. I haven’t tried to swivel it. See photos.
Some points of interest. It takes 3 people to mount this tv on this stand. Mounted as instructed, the bottom of the tv has to swing outward quite a bit to engage the stands vertical slot. (see photos). Two people to lift it and one behind the tv to keep the stand from sliding. When mounted, the bottom of the tv is 7 inches from the stand base. That’s as low as you can get it. I’d prefer it closer to the sound bar but until I get a longer base cabinet, it’s acceptable.
According to Sanus, this stand weights 25 1/4 lbs. Add this to the weight of your tv to make sure that your stand can support the weight. Factor soundbar weight as well if you have one.
The stand does not include soundbar pads. You’ll need some kind of protection to keep from scratching the stand or the soundbar.
It’s a good stand. Expensive, but worth it. Solid steel. The stand itself is 5 stars. I rated it at 4 due to conflicting information I received from Sanus regarding how to best mount the Sony, their complete lack of information on this stand and for not including soundbar padding. The instructions could be a little clearer. I had to call Sanus 3 times for clarification on some issues. Written instructions, rather than pictorial, would have been better.
The stand offers my 77″ Sony great stability. A great option if you can’t wall mount a Sony 77A95L.
