So far these have fit my needs more than expected. Being able to jump between my Series X and PS5 with ease has been great. I primarily play on my Series X and the Dolby Atmos sound stage is fantastic. The pre loaded EQ settings are decent but I highly recommend downloading the G Hub app and make your own that fits your play style. The earcups weren’t the best so I ordered a set of the Wicked Cushion cooling ones and that helped with comfort and sound, they gave them more sound isolation and some added comfort. I definitely love my bass and these supply that. But also being able to have good positioning audio for foot steps for Call of Duty to over all good audio for the many story based games that I play. Music and movies sound great as well pending on the preset you have.

I need you all to understand that I truly love this product. It’s extremely comfortable, it sounds great, it works flawlessly with the switcher, battery life is honestly never a worry. It’s really the best headset probably out there.
EXCEPT. It doesn’t for whatever reason, support the LG OLED C1. And if you do some research, it doesn’t support other OLED models natively as well.
This is an insane bummer because you would think such an expensive product would support another expensive item.
For this reason, I’m firm on a 1/5 review and am more than willing to change it, if they ever release an update to fix this. But apparently, Logitech is notorious for not fixing these type of things.
Do with this information what you will.

I received the Astro A50X on May 5th 2024.
The sound and the mic mix does not work on the PS5 like they did before Logitech bought it out. They are the worst generation I have ever bought. Now this is coming from having the first, second, third and forth generation of this product.
I absolutely do not recommend buying this generation headset. It’s not a good buy. When I hooked them up, my TV would hum through the main speakers, and would make a popping sound when I turn them on. It’s obviously a manufacturing issue that Logitech will not address. They know this is happening. And as usual they do nothing. I wish astro never sold out.
Also, Logitechs customer service has no idea how to fix them, nor do they care to help you. It took me 2 hour and 43 min according to my phone to get anyone at there end to answer. It’s a frustrating process to get this company to do anything when you spend over 400..00 for a headset.
Stay away from this headset. You will get nothing from buying this one. It’s not worth the money. Your better off getting the second generation or the third generation headset. The other 2 are just not worth it. I would like to see them bring back the fiber optic cable again. That’s where I think they went wrong.
Just useless head set. I sent them back and bought the turtle beach.

Excelente headset.
(Vendido separadamente)

This is the number 1 most recommended brand for gaming headsets for a reason. They are incredibly expensive which is my only complaint. Everything else about this headset is sublime. Great comfort, great sound, easy setup, great customer service, and I’ve found that if you take half decent care they will last a while. My last pair of A50’s lasted almost 5 years.

I’ve used Astro A10, A20, A50 gen 3/4, and now A50x. Hands down this is the best headset (maybe not best for the bank) but everything else money well spent. Mic is amazing, base station has more range than old gens, clarity in sound is awesome, Bluetooth is great for calls, music, and watching videos whiling waiting for your matches. The switch to PC/PS is great. Overall the only things you lose is PC and playstation sound at the same time, and well… that’s about it; everything else is far better. If you have your PC and PS/Xbox next to eachother. Don’t invest in a standing mic for the PC just get this headset. Also keep the base ear cups, anything else makes it sound weird/worse. (So no, you don’t need the cooling gel lol)
Side note I tried the Artic nova pro whatever they are called and they are nothing compared to these. A mic test alone will prove my point… don’t even get me started on sound quality.

I have the 2nd Gen and the head strap keeps falling off, there cracking sounds with some games I play so I was a little upset with all those problems considering the fact that they cost 350. Well I can honestly say that these a50s are way better as far as sound and construction. I definitely recommend these if you’re a gamer who wants the best quality in a gaming headset.
Amazon Customer –
Overall a great product, performance is great and the clarity of the sound quality is superb. The only thing I have against the setup as the instructions werent too clear and not knowing I needed to buy another hdmi cable but other than that worth the money for precision gameplay.

My TurtleBeach 700 became unbearable. so while shopping around I purchased SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro which fell MISERABLY below my expectations. So I thought I’d give this one a shot and it is by far the best headset I’ve used in all my years of gaming. Comfortable, easy to use, high quality, great sound, great battery, easy to connect. I haven’t found 1 wrong thing with it thus far

I will say I’ve been slowly getting into the audiophile genre. From dabbling in Audio Technica, Sennheiser, and some other brands. Also, never been a huge fan of Astros.
That being said, the audio quality is great. The EQ also helps get that sound you prefer. I’m more of a bass head myself. These tickle that itch, but leave a little more to be desired. However, it’s still by far one of the best sounds for a gaming headset.
Now the kicker, these are way too expensive. I get they have a 4K 120hz pass through, and two of them. They are just way too much for the value. You’d have to really need all the functions this offers specifically to make it worth it. I’d say for majority, this isn’t priced right. Go for the previous gen without the pass through. Or even a different brand. Like Steelseries. They sound great as well.
