Beats PowerBeats Pro Wireless Headphones MV6Y2

Love these headphones. They went through the wringer the first night I had them and proved their water resistant qualities and great sound quality. Sometimes on calls they can make me sound muffled but it’s not always. They don’t necessarily noise cancel but I’m fine with that as I use them for running and I don’t want that. The battery life is phenomenal but double check they are plugged into the charging case before you put them down. Sometimes my left earbud won’t charge correctly but when that happens, i shift it some, it plugs in right, and within minutes i have a charge to get me through and hour workout.

Edit: over a year later and still working fine. Occasionally they need to be re-paired by removing from the case and then putting back into the case. Other than that working as new.

I bought these headphones to use while working out, paired with an iPhone XR. Sound quality is great, noise cancellation is about an 8/10. They stay on pretty snug during an hour and a half workout and only may need to be adjusted once during if I bump them with my arm. Pairing is really easy, and in a few dozen times of use I’ve only had to re pair them once. Since each side has its own Bluetooth receiver, I had one time where one side became disconnected. All I had to do was place both back in the case for a few seconds and they paired back with the phone. Battery life is solid and I only need to charge the case every 10-12 days even with daily use. I play my music very loud so battery life may be better for you if you don’t listen to them on 95% volume all the time. After 1.5 hours I still have about 80% or so battery remaining on the headphones, so plenty of life. I like that skip and volume buttons are on both sides, which is convenient especially while working out if one hand may not always be free. I’ve seen reviews that these don’t play well with Android, which I kind of expect because these are made specifically for Apple, they even show on the packaging that they have parts made by Apple. Me gustaron mucho, en mi caso son extremadamente cómodos, el gancho que se ajusta al oído no se siente, creí que me incomodaría pero estaba totalmente lo equivocado, saltando, corriendo, no se caen, no incomoda llevarlo con el cubre bocas de tela, N95 ni los de filtro N99.

No uso lentes, pero en caso de usarlos, me comenta mi hermana (a quien se los preste), quizá deberías pedir prestados unos para saber si no te incomodaría usarlos con tus lentes ya qué hay diferentes grosores de varillas y terminales provocando que puedan llega a incomodarte, o plantearte otro modelo de audífonos sin ganchos. Un punto negativo es que son un poco caros, realmente lo son, su estuche es muy grande y no tiene carga inalámbrica, forzosamente debes ponerlo a cargar con un cable lightning, aunque para mi no es tanto inconveniente ya que su batería es bastante duradera, y no los pongo a cargar hasta llegar a la casa (yo los uso para ir al súper, ejercitarme, consulta al médico, alguna situación en la cual se que no me quitare los audífonos) como experiencia creo que valen la pena, ya sea que uses iOS o Android, la funcionalidad se percibe de la misma manera, en videos y videojuegos no hay un desfase del audio-video.

Otro detalle es que no tienen cancelación activa de ruido, que para mi no es un problema, en las calles lo último que quiero es aislarme de mi ambiente totalmente ya que podría ocasionarme un accidente, pero para otras personas si lo es, por lo qué hay que tomarlo en cuenta.

First of all, I would like to say that color pink is incredible. Yes, most people pick ivory or black, but this pink (to me at least) appears to be true to human skin tone if you are light skinned. They are actually two toned if you look at them in a natural light. The piece that contains red logo “d” is actually more of a blush (pastel) pink. The ear hook is baby/powder pink. More so, if you exercise, blood pulls to the surface of the skin thereby making this particular cloud pink color more ‘matching’ than any other color. I think this color is close to universal since anyone, guys or girls, can sport it with confidence.

Second, the sound quality is pretty decent. Yes, if you are in the music industry and your standards for headphones are through the roof, they may not be for you. Or if you wear headphones 24/7 as one of your body parts, skip them because you will feel their heft in your ears after a couple of hours.

Finally, these are not noise cancelling, bass is pretty much non existent on them too, as others rightfully pointed out in their reviews.

I still do give it 5 stars since it affords me wireless freedom which I value above the lack of some sound quality features.

In this case, it meets the adage of “you get what you pay for” for the most part.

I adore these earbuds! I have bought other wireless earbuds ( cheaper) for years. I have always wanted Powerbeats, but I didn’t want to spend that much money. I wish I had just gotten them initially because it would’ve been MUCH cheaper in the long run. AMAZING sound quality during my runs & HIIT Exercises. They stay really secure once you get them in your ears correctly. I will say that I’ve had a little trouble with my left ear, but once you put it on correctly, it doesn’t budge. What works best is putting the ear loop? Around your head first, and then put the ear bud in your ear. That’s the most snug I can get it. The bulky case doesn’t bother me, but it is larger than most. I love these ear buds so much, I highly recommend them if you enjoy exercising & having great music to get you through! Everything is perfect about these! I also love how easily they can switch from different devices without having to reset them!
