Realmente es un dac amp bueno! Hasta hay! Tiene un sonido muy plano, y eso es bueno! No es un sonido musical, es más bien analítico, todas las herramientas que tiene en la app sirven si no eres Audiofilo. Con audífonos es bueno, pero como dac para equipos de audio, no lo recomiendo. La batería dura aprox unas 6 horas.

Realmente lo compre por el Bluetooth y aunque tengo archivos en formatos variados qué no son comunes como Mpc o Aiff por no tirarle al Dsd, en todos ellos siempre me Marca Aptx a 44.1 Khz y no “abriendo” paso “según” a las demás frecuencias pero, pero, esto te lo “marca” más no a la hora de la VERDAD (donde realmente colocas la canción a reproducir), TODO CAMBIA, ya qué en VERDAD SE SIENTE LA DIFERENCIA entre un Mp3 de 320 Kbps y un FLAC de 1.4 Mbps o hasta de 5.8 Mbps.
Esto también va AUNADO al tipo de AUDÍFONOS QUE TENGAS, ya qué cuento con unos SENNHEISER qué simplemente suenan Genial con mi Note 9 De Samsung e igual Mi Aplicación de NEUTRON MUSIC PLAYER ya ECUALIZADO a mi Gusto y si ya de por si, con la entrada de 3.5mm SUENA ESPECTÁCULAR, en el Fiio Btr15 con Bluetooth, el Sonido si “baja” un poco su calidad al de la entrada 3.5mm pero SINCERAMENTE EL VALOR DE LAS PRESTACIONES qué representa el Bluetooth no tiene COMPARACIÓN ya qué en una Smart TV o en un Auto o Camioneta, el SONIDO ES SUPERIOR a los mismos con este FIIO BTR15
Sinceramente aun no he probado este “aparatito” en sus SALIDAS FISICAS de 3.5mm o de 4.4mm Balanceadas pq REPITO : Lo compre para USARLO COMO BLUETOOTH, así que tampoco puedo dar una Reseña de Experiencia con la Comunicación del PC y demás pero si te puedo decir que he tenido unos FIIO Btr desde su primera Generación como el uBTR y el Btr3 qué sinceramente el uBTR era mucho mejor que todos por su COLORIDO y el Btr3 es un TÍMPANO DE HIELO pq simplemente es CRUDO y ANALÍTICO y este BTR15 es HECHIZANTE para mi, pq lo encuentro enmedio y es como si fuese un tipo ARCOIRIS enmedio de la Lluvia
MIS AUDÍFONOS VIBRAN cuando una Buena Canción está BIEN GRABADA, ya sea en Mp3 o FLAC (Los archivos Más comunes para todo TERRÍCOLA jejejeje) esta reproduciendo se, ya sea desde un PROFUNDO BAJO (Rattle Get Up) mezclado con buenos agudos (Eddie Taylor Bad Boy) ya qué los Medios casi no me gustan y mi Ecualización es más al estilo Harman Kardon o en “V”
En cuanto a su función de AMPLIFICADOR, tengo algunos Dacs y con el Neutron Músic Player, puedes elevar aun más el Sonido sin tener mucha distorsión en ellos y este Fiio de lo que sin ellos, ya se complica elevar el Sonido
Pienso que hay más “artilugios” por “allí” qué pueden mejorar aun más el ESPECTRO MUSICAL pero la NETA? Estoy en PLENA ARMONÍA con estos FIIO BTR15 por mucho MUCHO mUcHo tiempo ya qué también “brincarle” a otra marca, ya se me hace para PURISTAS y yo… Apenas y llego a “Marte” jejejeje y no pretendo andar por las CONSTELACIONES indagando en FINITO en el INFINITO.
SIMPLEMENTE este FIIO BTR15 se ADECUÓ a mi GUSTO y NECESIDAD

I wish I had bought my device as “used/renewed” for some additional $$$ savings in order to receive one of the new, returned units where dumb reviewers returned their devices because they don’t understand the first thing about how battery charging chips work on electronic devices. (Alas device is too new for there to be any used/returned items available yet).
You need to run a few charge/discharge cycles before the battery charging chip is calibrated to the particular battery in the device. Once this is done, I’m only seeing a “one bar” drop in battery after a few hours running my NVIDIA Shield with LDAC bluetooth at 990kbps, so I could easily see it lasting for 8 hours, even though i’m unlikely to ever use this device for 8 hours straight.
The device sounds great, awesomely low-noise, authoritatively powered balanced drive of my headphones ranging from HifiMan Sundara to Truthear Nova IEM (for which I bought 4.4mm balanced cables specifically to use with BTR15). No noticeable hiss or noise audible on IEMs. Despite Sundara requiring more power, I’m still using them in low-gain setting since the high gain setting ends up being too loud even at 75% volume. I haven’t tried any high-impedance phones since I don’t have any, but I imagine the high-gain mode is more suitable for such high-impedance phones. I’m using low-gain mode because it allows me to use more of the 60-step volume range offered by the device. Under high-gain, the last 20 steps of volume ends up being too loud for an IEM in almost all cases, whereas on low gain, volume levels from 40-60 are usable for amplifying quieter source material.
My only complaint is that the BTR15 has a fancy display but doesn’t, in bluetooth, display any track information (title, artist, coverart, track-length, position, etc) which could certainly be displayed over bluetooth like it would on your car stereo with bluetooth. Likewise, in PC or Phone mode using with MQA sources from Tidal, the display only shows “MQA” when it could display the unfolded bitrate attained (fortunately this info is displayed in apps like “USB Audio Player Pro”). For normal audio, the bitrate is displayed so I’m not sure why it isn’t for MQA.
I’m hoping Fiio updates the firmware in the future to enable a more useful display.

Ordered this after returning 3 other products to attempt to do exactly the same thing – get the best sound from my music via my phone. Nearly ordered this as the first but for various reasons I tried the 3 other products, really wish I’d just bought this and saved myself the hassle.
It’s superb, absolutely tiny and lightweight, excellent build quality, good accessories and simple to operate. Loaded up the Fiio app, paired it and updated it in about 5 minutes. Then had a play with all the various functions – the Bluetooth connection with LDAC enabled sounds better than my Sony headphones do in the same mode.
The USB connection took a little learning, I had to change a setting and then WOW! Tidal sounded amazing, really shows the quality of the Dac and amp chips in the BTR15. A little EQ fiddling had me grinning and nodding my head in moments. So much better than a wireless connection. Bass extension was excellent and highly controlled, mids sounded perfect – no overstating, treble extension excellent and no sibilance. The soundstage is expansive and easy to place instruments/vocals. Both male and female vocals sound epic. Almost as good as listening to my speakers and hifi equipment, a very worthwhile upgrade to the sound quality available from my phone in a very portable device – Fiio gets a huge thanks for such a great product!

The unit is small and extremely well made. It works really well when you figure it out. Could use more detailed instructions on how to use in various modes. Took me a dozen tries before the new firmware would update. After trying various computers/laptops I found it only updated on BT not USB. and you can’t use the app until you update. USB PC app is crap so really difficult to use on W11.

Sounds better than most other similar bluetooth devices in the same price range. Sounds better than the Qudelix 5k and Es100. More sound stage. I paired it with my sennheiser ie900 with custom silver cables. It sounds really good. I can hear all instruments. The only negative is it won’t shut off when fully charged and keeps charging. Perhaps I got a slightly defective unit but that’s just a minor thing.

– Es bonito y agradable de manejar.
Negativo:
– La documentación y el soporte son horribles. Si quieres actualizar el firmware prepárate para echar horas.
– La duración de la batería es insuficiente para mi (unas 4 horas). Hubiera preferido que pesara un poco más y que tuviera más autonomía. Al final me obliga a llevar un batería portátil para recargarlo en la calle.
Lo recomiendo pero con esas pegas.

I have a btr5 and a qudelix 5K, the btr5 is nice but I love the 5K’s eq. The btr15 was supposed to be an upgrade to the qudelix for me because it also has a parametric EQ but it’s nowhere as good as the 5K.
Sound- Both BTRs slightly outperform the qudelix as far as sound quality, the btr15 being the better of the three. On default the btr5 has slightly boosted bass and treble, the btr15 has slightly boosted mid bass and the qudelix has the most neutral flat sound. The btr15 has the cleanest and more textured bass of the three and the best soundstage and imaging. All these differences are very slight so you have to A/B all three to really notice.
Btr5 differences- compared to the btr5 this version has a larger screen which is neat but not really necessary. This version also has a mode button which is easier than having to toggle charging off/on in the menu. You also get a 4.4 balanced which I guess is nice if you don’t have a bunch of 2.5 cables like me. The main difference is the EQ. One thing to add is that the position of the buttons is slightly different to the btr5 so the btr5 ddhifi leather case won’t line up on the buttons despite fitting perfectly.
EQ/bugs- this is the best upgrade but it’s also why the btr15 is not quite ready. The PEQ does technically work but it’s super buggy. The EQ lets you choose a specific frequency, gain and Q but only for 10 bands and it doesn’t have shelves or anything besides peaks. Adjusting the PEQ is slow and changes are not as noticeable as when using the qudelix.
The bugs come when using the EQ outside of Bluetooth , when you select an EQ in phone or pc mode the connection drops. On iPhone using a camera adapter the source will change from btr15 to “btr15 EQ dev kit” this is when the device begins acting weird. When in devkit the btr will have volume issues and sometimes sound issues. The only way I found to get it out of it is to disable the EQ in the menu then Switching to Bluetooth and enabling the EQ through the app. I’m sure this will be fixed in an update but for now this is the main problem the btr15 has besides the possible battery drain issue.
Overall this will be a good upgrade to the btr5 once they fix these issues and maybe improve the EQ because the sound is definitely improved. If you prefer a superior EQ then you can’t really beat the qudelix, like I said, the btr15 has the best sound of the three but not by much. The biggest strength of the btr15 will probably be it’s higher power output.
