This is watch is mediocre on the best day and absolutely useless on the worst. It incorrectly checks my heart rate regularly, showing 89 beats per minute when I actually counted out to be 165. I’m fairly lean at 29% bf so there is no excuse here. Additionally the screen doesn’t react at all if there’s dampness on your fingers, which makes it impossible to end activities or interactively while/during workouts. Did you accept had it all that I could find myself doing those wishing I still had my Fitbit which was better than every way.

The media could not be loaded.

I really love my Garmin Lily 2. It’s so much more stylish than any of my other fitness trackers and I love all of the features. The heart rate monitor and pedometer seem to be quite accurate, and even the stress metrics appear to match up quite well to how I’m actually feeling that day. There are lots of pre-programmed activities that you can track. Good things to know: 1) the background of the watch face is not changeable, it is actually printed onto the back of the watch so make sure you like it; 2) the touch screen is not super sensitive, but it’s pretty good – sometimes you do need to tap a few times to get what you want; 3) there are loads of off-brand metal bands you can get to dress this watch up and they look great! 4) the battery life is really good (at least 5 days) and it charges super fast so if I just charge it while I’m in the shower I never need to take it off otherwise. Overall I’m super happy with this!

I’d rather place this at a 3.5, because it’s not just average, but there are nuances that dropped the star rating significantly for me based off what I need this watch for.

    Long story short:

I had to reset my device after charging it (I had it at this point for maybe just shy a month, and this wasn’t the first time charging it) because the heart rate monitor suddenly stopped. No matter what I did, the green light would not come back on. Factory resetting the settings it came back.

The activity tracking is not perfect. When it works, it works! BUT randomly when I start an activity it just…doesn’t. Heart rate is going, but time elapsed and any steps done (I’m looking at you running/walking/treadmill specifically) are stalled to 0, and even checking the app after “completing” the activity and syncing it, it’s not like it magically updates. So if my steps made during running for 20 minutes is actually tracked I have no clue. So the nuisance is am I really gonna have to start an activity and stare to verify it hasn’t somehow glitched?

Notifications are annoying. I try to keep my watch on dnd because when working out it suddenly buzzes back to back from texts and generic push notifications. Although it’s nice and was cool in the beginning, this isn’t a necessary feature since it’s not like I’m responding to these things from the watch.

Otherwise the watch looks nice and blends well with whatever I wear day-to-day. It charges quickly and lasts the full 5 days as advertised. Despite the glitches I don’t regret what I paid for it.

I have really thin wrists and this device fits nicely and looks great. I’ve received multiple compliments on it. My only complaint is that the screen will not always activate when prompted, specially during workouts. So now I just track time rather than movements/cycles because it will get stuck when trying to go to next.

I love that this watch! It is discreet but gives me the info that I need; time, date, heart rate, active minutes, calories burned, weather, steps. You can easily choose which workout you are doing just with a press of the screen. No buttons on watch. Stop and start a workout using one light press. Also, it notifies you if your heart rate is above normal and suggests breathing exercises. I love this watch!

Best active watch brand in the market! I have used Fitbit watches for years. This past June I had yet another fitbit watch just stop working. After weeks of going back and forth no one within Fitbit support was able and willing to help fix or give me a partial refund on the premium program I had on the watch.

I chose to look for another brand. I decided to call Garmin. The company and customer service is located in the USA. Each person is super easy to understand and incredibly helpful. The customer service representative that I spoke to on my first call helped me choose which of their watches were best for me based on my fitness and goals. I purchased one here on amazon first and another on their website. I love both watches and recommend Garmin to anyone who wants a watch that does more than any other company. This watch gives you what you need without having to pay extra. This particular watch is my everyday watch and the other one I purchased is my intense workout watch. Both watches sync to one location on the Garmin app. This allows me to combine a total for my step/workout/sleep/literally any goal for the day!

This is an elegant little smart watch. This is the only watch that fits a small female wrist and doesn’t look massive. So far I absolutely love this watch. I’ve worn it for a day and the battery is still above 80%. The sleep tracking was spot on. The steps are accurate as is the distance. GPS only works with phone connected but that isn’t a big deal for me. The activity workout did take an extra two to turn on but I figured that out pretty quickly. People have complained about the wrist raise – what I have found is that when an activity is turned on, the wrist raise is great. Otherwise I had to double tap the watch face to display the time. Again that is ok – maybe that is helps the battery life. The amount of widgets is customizable and it has everything I want: steps, sleep, stress, body battery, calories burned. There are more, but those are the ones I customized to the watch. The Garmin Connect app on my phone is awesome. I have heard that the watch face can scratch easily so I am being careful until the screen protectors arrive.

Para mi progamar el reloj ha sido difícil. No encuentro dónde cambiarle el idioma y me reporta metas y cosas que yo no le he pedido.
En la app, las gráficas me parecen poco claras y le pedí cosas que no me reporta.

This watch looks great, but in practice the system isn’t great. The GPS is consistently wrong when recording mileage, logging my 5 mile run as a 3.5 mile run. The sleep tracking seems to work but I also think the heart rate monitor is wrong. It consistently measures my resting heart rate low. If worn in the shower, the heat from the water will cause the buttons to be pressed and I’ll find that the watch was put on do not disturb. Would not buy again.

Measures sleep incorrectly, Im not sure about the heartrate. sometimes it seems correct but then at times it’s reallyyy off. And I can’t change the weather shown to celsius. Only response I got was reset to factory settings and try again….

I bought this to replace a very old Garmin Vivoactive that was a clunky square hunk. I wore it a very long time because the thing would not die. So when looking for something smaller and simpler, I ended up back at Garmin because I saw this nice looking watch. It still does way too much for me, but it is easy to customize. Also it was so easy to start up. I was really amazed at that. One negative is that the charger is a proprietary “clip”and a second is that it doesn’t last as long on a charge as my old watch. However it still goes for days and my prior watch was rather extraordinary in battery life, possibly why it was so large.
