You get a nice big box of Meguiars car care products–some of which I have never seen in my local store.
This company has been around forever and produces both ‘consumer’ type car products and ‘pro’ grade formulas as well. They are apparently all made in the US and are all proprietary to Meguiars–meaning they aren’t sold under any other brand name.
I am not a car detailer by trade but I have purchased and tried many products over the years. I have found Meguiar to always be at least very good and sometimes the very best product available. I love their Gold Class’ line for waxing.
This kit is concentrated around the new ceramic type finishes which promise much longer wear but a more finicky application. Honestly, my experience is that applying a ceramic finish is not that much different or better than using the ‘Gold Class’ wax but I suppose even Meguiar needs to keep ahead of whatever the consumer trend is.
With the exception of the Car Wash (which needs to be mixed in a bucket with water the same as any other soap), the rest of the products are in spray bottles, already mixed and packaged for consumers. You also get some micro fiber rags, a wash mitt and an applicator. All of this comes in a cardboard box.
The products are uniformly excellent from a consumer standpoint. They are easy to use, won’t damage your car and smell nice. Because they are US products from a trusted seller, I am confident these products do not contain odd or dangerous ingredients.
My only complaint is a nitpick–it would be nice if this kit were packaged in a nicer box, had a little manual describing some of the products and how to use them (although there are good instructions on each of the bottles, this is being sold as a ‘kit’ and it would be great if the seller would explain why the individual products were chosen over the many other products this company offers.)
Also, a nicer box (or better packaging) would make this an excellent gift for the car nut in your life.
But these are quibbles.
I give it five stars and I rarely do that.

This kit is a great value if you are looking to get an all in one for washing your car. The only thing that could make this better would be one of those buckets with a handle and lid so you could store all of this as well as carrying it outside to use. I am definitely going to grab one at Lowe’s for this very reason. Other than that this kit is all you need for the exterior of your automobile or in my case SUV.

I used this on my truck today and I am very pleased with ALL of the products. My truck definitely needed washed from all that salt this winter so getting this pushed me to get it done! Thankfully I had a place to do this inside as it is pretty chilly out! I am shining now for sure!!!
In conclusion, I love this kit. I have been using their leather care products for the past 7 years or so and love those too.

I’ve always been a fan of Meguiars products- And was really excited to try these new ceramic hybrids. They do a pretty good job!
First of all, the wash does a nice job of cleaning up. It’s two-part, you put a couple of ounces of the soap in a bucket, then add about a 1/2 oz of “ceramic boost” to the mix. Wash like normal- and rinse. Make sure you rinse REALLY well, and then dry the car afterwards or you’ll see streaking and spots. I use an air blower to get things nice and dry.
The spray wax goes on nicely, but remember that a little goes a LONG way. I applied it after using the ceramic wash- it got rid of any stray water spots and streaks and left a brilliant shine- rivaling that of most other waxes I have used, including much more difficult to apply pastes.
The ceramic detailing spray is great for touching up between washes, to get light dirt and dust off. It works well, applies evenly and wipes nicely. It goes perfectly with the included microfiber towels. I’m able to do a quick detail of my full sized truck in about 15 minutes with this- and it looks GREAT every time.
The tire shine does a good job- makes those tires look better than new. It’ll be interesting to see if the ceramic additives make a difference in the longevity of the finish.
The accessories that are included are top-notch quality. The microfiber towels are some of the best that I have ever used!

I’m a very casual car washer, definitely something I do reluctantly and only as often as I absolutely need to. After having my paint chipped by the car wash it’s definitely better to just do it yourself if you have the ability. Not caring that much though about specific products it’s nice to have a kit like this to, mostly, just make one purchase and have everything you need. The products all work well enough for me and car looks good when I’m done. The only thing is you’ll also need to source a pair of buckets and sediment filters and it would have been nice if they offered a kit with those included, but those are one time purchases so it’s not a big deal.
