Came here mostly to confirm with picture that this Anker 6-1 Dock will in fact accommodate a Steam Deck equipped with a Killswitch case. You don’t have to force it or finagle it at all. I don’t know if they are shipping a newer model but this was purchased on July 17, 2024. You will have to detach the kickstand of the Killswitch which is made to come off easily. If you are complaining about this, I don’t know what to tell you. Get some cords and use the kickstand then. Anker makes great and reliable products and stand by them. I couple this with an Anker 100w power source to maximize abilities of the dock. Fast charge times, easy setup and works well on my LG. I did try it on an older 2011 Samsung TV without success. My understanding is the Steam Deck doesn’t play nice with Samsung TVs in general. I have nothing else negative to say and honestly, that isn’t Anker’s fault. Great Dock that will get plenty of use!

Fast transfer speeds to external drives, power delivery (with effective cables) that charges my rog ally faster than any phone Ive ever owned, which is great considering the comparable battery.
Hdmi port functions as advertised! Great product!
ALLY-X USERS, take a knife a pry up and off the rubber friction holders, your console will then fit!

tl;dr: Es el mejor dock que puedes comprar para tu steam deck ya que no tiene ningún fallo que los demás si presentan.
Contexto
He pasado por 4 docks en total los cuales han sido:
-El dock de Jsaux
-El dock 9 en 1 de Ugreen
-Un usb c hub 5 en 1 genérico de anker
-Y por último este de anker más especializado para Steam Deck
Devolvà el de Jsaux y el de Ugreen
Tanto el dock de Jsaux como el de Ugreen me han dado problemas como los siguientes:
-Hay que desconectar y conectar el usb c si inicias la Steam Deck estando ya conectada al dock
-Problemas con la imagen que se ve distorsionada
-No funcionan con mi monitor 2k 144 de LG
-Micro cortes en la imagen
Este dock de anker (y el usbc hub de la misma marca) no tienen ningún fallo de estos mencionados, ni ninguno en general.
Es funcional en todas mis pantallas y en todos los estados, no importa si la consola ya está conectada antes de encenderla todo funciona como esperarÃas que funcionara.
En cuanto a materiales parece robusto y duradero.
Por ponerle una pega podrÃa ser entre 4 a 7 euros más barato.

The ports on the back are loose, if you even move the thing, the ethernet will get disconnected and disrupt you. The ethernet port does not go in and click all the way so it’s prone to having connection issues if the dock moves at all. Also if you have 2 monitors, it will never work, there’s no way that I know to set up multiple monitors with this dock. Slightly covers the vents if you have the steam deck right in the middle of it and presses on the screen in a way that causes the back light to show through the screen and make white edges. I bought this because I liked anker but this dock is worth less than it is because of the bad fit of cables, and the USB c port not allowing a hdmi signal.

I’m not using for a steam deck as suggested, but I’m using as a stand for my phone while travelling so I can plug in a mouse and keyboard etc. and it works well!
Big advocate of Anker products generally and this one lives up to that!

The product is built well and looks very nice but it’s too small for the Ally X. Works fine with steam deck. If you have an Ally X look for something else.

j’ai commandé ce dock pour mon steamdeck en remplacement d’un simple hub classique USB-C.
L’avantage est d’avoir la console debout pour améliorer la ventilation en jeu.
D’habitude ma console est posée sur la table et je pense que la dissipation n’était pas géniale.
En jeu, je pourrais pas dire le gain en terme de chiffres mais on entend moins les ventilo se mettre t en route. Du coup, rien que ça c’est un grand plus !
Je n’ai pas rencontré de déconnexion hdmi comme avec d’autre hub USB-C.
Habitant en zone ultra urbaine, j’ai commandé le dock le matin et la livraison s’est faite le soir même.
J’espère qui vous apportera satisfaction également pour 30€ !

Wirklich nix zu bemängeln,hat alles von Anfang an so geklappt wie es sollte.Also einfach alles angeschlossen und es lief.
Input lag konnte ich nicht feststellen bei MP Shootern bin also bestens zufrieden.
Noch als kleinen Tip wer beim SteamDeck auf den Desktop Modus wechselt muss da wahrscheinlich erst einmal die Anzeige umstellen.Also welcher Monitor was wiedergeben soll.
Ich hatte am Anfang kein Bild auf den externen Monitor,das liegt aber an Steam,soll nur ne kleine Info sein.
Der normale SteamDeck Modus funktionierte halt von Anfang an wie gesagt einwandfrei.

So I’ve been looking to upgrade my setup at home when I dock my steam deck. A few months ago I purchased a usb-c hdmi dongle to dock my steam deck and switch to my monitor. Purchased an anker one and it was only $19.99. The problem was while gaming I couldn’t charge my deck so it would limited my playing time. So I’ve been putting in hours on Persona 3 Reload in handheld mode and with Metaphor Refantazio coming out soon I felt the need to upgrade my at home setup to allow me to play longer. So happy Anker came out with a dock! A USB C hub is a great alternative and technically this is a usb c hub with a stand. Now be aware it does not come with a charging cord…BUT…to solve that issue either use your steam deck charger which is a 45w charger and it will charge your deck with no problem or purchase a 45w charger. My deck has a skull and co grip on it. The plug fits and the case fits on the stand with no problems. I included pictures so you can see how the plug fits and case. I also included pictures of me using my official deck charger to charge my deck and the previous dongle I was using. I will continue to use the dongle for my Switch. I’m so happy I can play longer. For reference my monitor is a Dell 27 inch curve.
