    Though I did not do a real analysis here of speeds.. I was able to to get data off this card to my storage at fast rates literally twice as fast as the Prograde Digital CF express 256 gb I used on the same hardware.
    My lap top is older but I am really impressed with these 512 GB cards.They are less expensive by a mile and work better than the big names on my system. Note Data was in the form of raw images taken with my D500 Nikon DSLR and using Prograde digital card reader.

    This review is for:
    Silicon Power 1TB CFexpress Type B Memory Card, Up to 1800MB/s Read, Min Sustained Write: 1500MB/s

    ======================
    Quick update May 2024:
    Still going strong/ error free for over half a year.
    ======================

    The key phrase there is “Min Sustained Write: 1500MB/s” . That’s a good thing.

    Tested with my Z9 shooting 8K 12 bit N-RAW video at 60p: No lock-ups. No warnings. I only shot 5 minutes of video in comfortable ambient temperatures. Not a torture test but slower cards can’t do even that.

    For comparison:
    – My Delkin Devices 512GB POWER CFexpress Type B Memory Card with a min sustained write speed of 805 MB/s locks up right away.
    – My Delkin Black 256GB CFexpress Type B Memory Card with a min sustained write speed of 1400 MB/s card records without a hitch.

    The Silicon Power 1TB card’s min. sustained write speed seems plausible.

    Great value card. It’s my first card from this brand. So far so good. I’ll update if things change one way or another.

    This cfast2.0 card would not work on my Canon C200. It would not initialize. Only gave an error message, where as my Anglebird 512 card works fine.

    So far zero issues in a Nikon Z7. Great write speeds, basically extends the buffer time by letting it empty, even at 8fps 45.7MP uncompressed 14bit RAW. Reads to Windows at a sustained average of 485MB/s. Seems durable, though I never have it out of any enclosure long enough to tell if there are any physical issues (none so far). Always happy to purchase Silicon Power gear. I have over a dozen of their NAND devices, both SATA and NVMe, in service for 1-3 years and I haven’t had a failure yet. Their prices are good to. Not a shill, they’re not giving me anything (though I wouldn’t balk at a freebie ๐Ÿ˜€ ).

    Works well in my Canon EOS C200 cinema camera. I have had issues with other brand cards not being recognized in the camera. This one is always recognized. I use is to record Canon’s Cinema RAW Light (12-bit, 4k DCI) and haven’t had any buffering issues or corrupted files.

    No issues with data transfer to my computer.

    No real Pro Tips for this, it’s a memory card. I wish it was cheaper, but I think everybody always wishes cards were cheaper, especially specialty cards like this.

    Works in my Z Cam E2 F6 without any issues.

    I used Nikon Z7 with this CFExpress card (1TB). The transfer speed on 30-35MB JPEG files sizes was very respectible. The actual tiem to transfer indicated that read speed was at the lowest 800MB and at higher end 1.2 GB per second using 10th Generation I7 processor (LG Gram Laptop). So, to transfer 180 GB of photo it took about 2-3 minutes depending on the file size. I have taken some videos with the NIkon Z7, but not extensively. I did not notice any slowdown during the video segment taking; but, I did not have any issues with the speed since I was taking single shots at a time. Comparing this to SD cards that I have it is at the minimum 10x speed increase.

    I did notice that while connected to the Laptop using the reader, the card can get warm to touch, I have not noticed any issue with the temperature. However, I have not yet used the memory in the hot and humid environment.

    The high speed of transfer between card and laptop is very much appreciated as compared to the SD cards that I have used in my other camera’s such as D810, D7000/7500. So, far no issues has been noted. It appears to be a good solid product.

    Nikon D850 stuttering badly after 3 shots in burst mode. Never happens with other CF Express B cards.
    Tested this card’s speed with a USB 3.2 CFE B reader on a PC and speed test maxed it at 332MB/s Write and 418MB/s Read. Verified another brand CFExpress B card on this reader had no problem.
    This card also noticeably runs warmer than others. Maybe the reason.
    I let my return window close before using this card on a photo shoot. I believed the reviews. Lesson learned.

    Comprado para mi BMPCC6K. Debo decir que por los 180โ‚ฌ que he pagado por 512GB estoy encantado. Si que hay que tener en cuenta que por sus especificaciones no puedo usarlo con bitrates mayores a 330MBps, he hecho pruebas con la BM y enseguida me para la grabaciรณn si le exijo calidades demasiado altas. Pero para un uso normal en BRAW 12:1, 8:1 e incluso 5:1 en segรบn quรฉ resoluciones y fps funciona genial. Me es mucho mรกs cรณmodo y seguro que el SSD.

    I have a few of these the 1tb and 512gb cf express type b cards and they work great with my z6ii and z8. I have been using it since nov 2023 and have had zero issues, my Sony xqd cards started to crack and these are al metal which has proven to be superior and far cheaper with greater memory capacities and the same speeds!

    Great price with real high speed, many card label themselves with whatever max speed, but in the reality many of them couldn’t even achieve quarter of that speed.

    Already bought many silicon power products, so glad to see they finally bring their CFE-B product to here! ๐Ÿ˜‰
