I had to reinstall Windows from an ISO immediately because it booted up with errors. After updating the BIOS and installing a fresh copy of Windows 11 Pro, I went to update the drivers via the website using Lenovo Service Bridge. After that completed, it came up to the warranty page and told me that my 1 year warranty expired 4 months before I even purchased it.
I have spent over 45 minutes with Lenovo support trying to rectify this issue. I am being told it will be rectified. The whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. I think that I will just deal directly with the manufacturers or PC builders moving forward and not do something like this through Amazon again. Now it has me wondering if all of the electronics I have bought through Amazon have been out of warranty. Not a good feeling……

I was hesitant to purchase at first, but we use LENOVO in my CORPORATION. When I received the BOX, I had to wait a few days because of some Work Related Tasks I had to complete. Opened the BOX took upstairs and connected to my Spare Monitor and the Keyboard and Mouse Provided. THIS PC updated itself and allowed me to start moving Data from my OLD PC in less than 1 Hour. THIS IDEACENTRE is Absolutely Amazing and so FAST. WOW!!!

Seemed ok, but once I did a restart after updating windows, there’s no video output. Tried multiple monitors, multiple HDMI cables, and multiple ports on my TV as well as tried a dedicated monitor. When I finally got it working I find every restart fails to reconnect to the monitor and I have to restart the machine 6-10 times to finally be able to see something on screen. Wasted 10 hours on this broken machine. Even reset to factor specs and it wouldn’t even get past step 3 of starting windows before the screen goes black and you’re done. Super frustrating experiences.
Tried to get help from Lenovo but the warranty ion the serial number on this computer was 3 months expired. Edit: After returning the computer and making this review, the seller contacted me and says they always update the sell date when they ship it but apparently there was a 2-3 day delay in getting the info to Lenovo. So I found it expired because it was shipped in less than a day and has since sent proof it is under warrantee. Raising the review from 1 to 3 starts.
Also, when I bought it (it’s a decent price) there was only one left. But after I bought it, there were two in stock. Resupply of a version of the computer that Lenovo doesn’t make (or support) anymore? I don’t think so. More like a Tactic to make me buy it quick before it’s gone. Should have listened to other reviewers about the expired warranty and should have known the price was too good to be true.
