I got this for the Samsung Z Fold 5, it works really well for streaming my PC to my Phone at 120hz with an OLED screen, it really is amazing for that.
    Pros ;
1 – Good feel and tight snug fit for the phone and large enough for a Fold 5.
2 – Comfortable after a 2-3 hour session- I recommend putting it down for a few mins every now and then.
3 – ABXY buttons are nice and snappy I enjoyed streaming Hades to my phone, I could do my combos with no problem.

    Cons ;
1 – The Joy stick clicks are a bit blocky feeling but I don’t play many games that use that so it’s not as much of an issue.
2 – The right joystick is a bit too close to the A button so your thumb may bump into it a bit and it can be annoying.
3 – the product feels a bit cheaper than a standard controller but at the same time it’s much better than I expected so take from that what you will.
4- When the Fold 5 is in tablet mode as shown in the picture the Wireless charger does not connect to the phone and thus doesn’t allow you to charge it, however it can be used as a charger if you’re not playing with it and just folding the phone and placing it on top.

The only real issue I have is the original cable sticks out too far as shown in the picture and can bump into your fingers so I recommend the following two products to circumvent that
    1) Cable Matters Braided USB C to USB Micro Cable 0.3 m – this one is compatible and converts the USB micro to a USB C natively.
    2) AIYEEN USB C Adapter – USB C Male to Female Adapter Right Angle. – you want the right angle one so it doesn’t hang over the right bumper, together they make the device feel much more comfortable and sharp.

With this new cable/adapter combo you can get a much better experience with your fold 5 so I highly recommend it. I would recommend the brands I mentioned being Cable Matters and Aiyeen as some other cables/adapters from different brands I tried using didn’t work :/

This is as close to perfection for what I have been looking for in a mobile game controller.

Uses Bluetooth with totally acceptable latency so my phone with my case can fit in it.
The area to hold the phone has good support and the controller can provide wireless charging but it does charge very slow if at all when gaming.

The center piece can come off to be used as a tablet/phone mount and then you can use a USB cable to hardwire the controller in.

Unlike every other Bluetooth controller in this category this one actually gives you a battery indicator to see how much charge is left.

It feels just like an Xbox controller but with some points taken off it isn’t exactly the same.

My only huge concern is the analog triggers which are jus not pleasant to use but you may be able to look past it.

It feels great it is big so take that into account. The triggers suck but everything else is solid. It does for some odd reason use a micro USB port but I can’t say that this enough to not buy it.

It does work with a PC but there is no vibration built in so that might bother you it did for me.

I have had the Razer Kishi, the RIG Nacon MG-X PRO. I also have the Moga XP5-X. I enjoyed them all. The Kishi is compact, but not very egonimic, so I tried the RIG. I was nice, but I didn’t like that it couldn’t charge my phone while I played. The XP7-X controller solved both those issues, and includes the two programmable buttons I like on my XP5-X. I love the XP5, and I mostly was using it with a phone mount, but I like having the weight of the phone centered because it is easier on the wrists.

It has only been a day, but I love it. I am having to adjust to different stick placement because the D-pad and buttons overlap the sticks more than my XP5 but think I will adjust.

Also, it fits my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra with a Spigen case, so I imagine it will fit most phones.

One improvement I would like to see on these types of controllers would be to be able to angle your screen slightly. It would make it more ergonomic.

    So far, I love it.

    Dear Customer Reviews,

I am shocked by the customers negative reviews when it comes purchasing a Power A Moga XP7-X. Many reviewers really want the best of everything. I am shocked and Suprise on how good the product is. I gave a week to test the controller and see what I thought about the controller. I bought it last week and got it in shipment Thursday. I am very pleased with the wireless charging. As far as the wireless charging goes it charges quick same as 15 watts that was use from Samsung. I didn’t notice a slow wireless charging that other experience. All I know is that some viewers will need to upgrade newer phone so it is compatible with wireless charging.

Some viewers say that one game didn’t work with Call of Duty Mobile. When anyone buys a new controller should have watch YouTube video or read the description questionnaires about Call of Duty Mobile. As far as Call of Duty Mobile goes it is their fault for not adding the controller support. That is not Power A fault. Call of Duty Mobile should have added HID support.

Bluetooth works well. Bluetooth picks up very quick. And it doesn’t take long to pair it. It doesn’t take long to recognize. All of the buttons feel are fantastic for me. I know many of you complained about the controller right thumb stick being too close. It is not that close for me, but I like it because I can rest my thumb. And I know many folks complained about the left and right triggers. To me I don’t think that is not that bad at all. I would prefer the Moga controller over the Xbox controller.

The battery lasts long time without not using the wireless charging. I would recommend take the battery brick with you on a long trip. My Samsung galaxy s22+ battery lasts all day long while the controller is on. When I play a game for 4 to 6 hours. My phone pulls at least 50% of the battery up to the half of the day. I don’t use wireless charging unless I go for long trip.

I bought this controller was mainly to fit my phone with a case because the controller can expand 7.14 inches wide. The controller is wide without not put a phone in the controller. I like the Moga Controller because of the width and the Xbox Controller width is somewhat too short. I find Xbox controller uncomfortable and not wide enough.

Many customers don’t like Micro-USB. The Micro-USB wasn’t really for wireless charging or charging the main battery in the Moga Controller. The Moga Controller has two different modes for an older Xbox 360 and newer Xbox One or newer. There are two different modes. One is called Direct input. Second is called XInput. Microsoft when they release Xbox 360 console. The Xbox 360 and Windows 11 or older supports XInput. The Smartphones and Tablets and Chrome supports Direct Input. The XInput is for Windows 11 or older. The Direct Input is for Smartphones and tablets and websites xbox.com/play and Chrome.

The XInput setup is different. You have to hold down select and start for just few seconds. It will switch back and forth from different modes. The Windows 11 or older needs Micro-USB – USB-A cable to connect again make sure you switch modes, and it will work with Windows 11 or older.

I did not mess with the programmable buttons. I am not fan of messing with it.

The pictures above are an adaptor that has USB Female and USB-Male to plug in the USB-Male. Apparently, Power A forgot to add that adaptor to use it for tablets. Two cables that came in the box only has short cable USB-c and long cable USB-A. I use the long cable that hooks up the adaptor for the pictures above that I show you.

What do I think about the product. I absolutely loved the Moga XP7-X Controller. I really don’t think there is nothing wrong with the controller. I am an old school. I am 40 years old. My age dates back Atari and NES and GameCube and Xbox original PS2 PS3 Xbox 360 Wii Nintendo Switch and google stadia and PC. Possibly Xbox Series S for me. Many of you probably are in your 20’s are saying Hey it is 2022 Power A get USB-C! LOL!

    5 Stars. Consigliato.

So, overall this is a good product.
    Pros –
    Pretty comfortable to hold
Face buttons feel very good, and dpad is good too
Full sized analog sticks, and analog triggers
    Wireless charging
Perfect size for phones in portrait and landscape mode, DS and 3ds emulation work well
    Cons –
There is a better alternative for the same price
The analog triggers feel very stiff
Charges via Micro USB, which is ridiculous, considering it is also a wireless power bank, and every phone that supports wireless charging uses USB-C and not micro usb, it is silly to use Micro USB for this or anything else in 2022
The face is crowded, if you press the A button your thumb will also be touching the joystick
This thing is a scratch magnet, I have had it for less than a day and there are already about 5 noticeable significant scratches
Shoulder button press is very light and not at all satisfying
Compared with the other controller in my pictures that is the same price, the other one charges with USB-C, has the best joysticks I have ever felt, feels much more premium overall, and does not scratch easily, has just about the best smoothest analog triggers I’ve ever used, and the other one is just more comfortable and not at all cramped in the button layout, it is pretty much just an xbox controller cut in half.

So in conclusion, if you really value the power bank or the ability to play in portrait mode, then you should get this, but in any other case you should pass on this and go for the better controller. I personally thing a more appropriate price for this PowerA MOGA XP7-X would be aroung 75 dollars US
Update: seller is terrible I wouldn’t do any business with them at all.
