The headset is easy to setup, lightweight, I can wear it for hours and it not bother me at all, which is not usual! My kids get hold of them from time to time and they are still undamaged and work perfectly. I got the wired set for latency reasons and the mute button on the headset as well as the volume control is super nice and conveniently placed on the headset and not the cord so you don’t have to hunt for it when you need to use it. Great special audio, I do lots of FPS gaming and it’s easy to tell which direction noises are coming from. They were highly recommended to me and I highly recommend them to you.

First Impressions:
The Cloud III Wireless boasts a sleek and understated design. The black color is subtle and gamer-friendly without being over-the-top. The aluminum frame feels sturdy and premium, while the plush leatherette ear cups and headband promise luxurious comfort during marathon gaming sessions.
Comfort is King:
HyperX knows a thing or two about comfort, and the Cloud III Wireless is no exception. The memory foam ear cups are like pillows for your ears, gently molding to your head without any unwanted pressure. The headband is equally accommodating, distributing weight evenly and avoiding that dreaded “headset headache.” Even after hours of wear, I barely registered the Cloud III Wireless’ presence.
Wireless Freedom:
The true star of the show is, of course, the wireless connectivity. Ditching the cord is pure bliss. You can roam freely around your gaming space, grab a snack, or answer the door without ever having to yank the headset off. The 2.4GHz wireless connection is reliable and lag-free, ensuring smooth audio even during intense action sequences.
Sound that Satisfies:
The Cloud III Wireless delivers clear and balanced audio across the spectrum. Highs are crisp and airy, mids are well-represented, and lows have a satisfying thump without being muddy. Whether you’re strategizing with teammates or getting lost in an epic soundtrack, the Cloud III Wireless faithfully reproduces every sonic detail.
Mic that Matters:
The detachable boom mic is surprisingly good for a wireless headset. Your voice is picked up clearly and naturally, even in noisy environments. The mic mute button is conveniently located on the ear cup, making it easy to silence yourself when you need to cough or unleash a victory yell (we’ve all been there).
Battery Life that Lasts:
The battery life speaks for itself, I won’t even spend time on that. You will have PLENTY.
The Verdict:
The HyperX Cloud III Wireless is a compelling choice for gamers seeking a comfortable, convenient, and great-sounding wireless headset. While it may not be the most feature-packed option on the market, it excels in the core areas that matter most: comfort, sound quality, and battery life. If you’re ready to ditch the cords and embrace the wireless revolution, the Cloud III Wireless is a worthy contender.

It’s very comfortable and I must admit, when I am wearing these headsets, I forget that it is on my head. Like…. it is light. I also notice it is flexible too. I got the wired one because I have a lot of issues with wireless from other brands and normally you sacrifice something for wireless.
It has spatial audio or whatever it is called and you need the software for that. It…. is super questionable. God awful in a lot of games because it just does not work at all or just cause unintentional audio problems if someone is to your side or behind you. There are a few settings you also have to turn off in Windows settings to be like actually good normal audio. I also read that for the software, you have to keep it running which kind of sucks. It is good as a plug in play but you have to fix the settings in Windows.
I did a brief test on the mic and the mic quality sounds okay for the headsets. Sounds like a typical headset mic.
Also props to HyperX to have an actual onboard audio wheel that does NOT change my Windows volume. Always a plus feature because I NEED my Windows volume to be 100% at some moments but I only want to reduce my headsets volume. This is coming from a recording/livestreaming aspect.
So a reason I knocked a star off is due to software issues and how Windows 11 first time set up with these headsets. This might not be for everyone but it was an issue that made audio sounds absolutely terrible.

Exelente material con el que está echo, y un audio increíble sin duda de los mejores audífonos que eh probado, si tienes micrófono aparte te da la ventaja de poderle retirar el suyo

I used the HyperX Cloud II wired headset for a few years before I got this. First of all, the biggest difference is the freedom of having no wire. I love how comfortable this headset is and was able to even stay on a call while I went into every room of my house. Others have said this and I agree that I’ll occasionally forget I’m wearing them. It’s only been a few days but I already love this headset. By far the best part of this product is the battery life. I brought this into my office and listened to a collective 20 hours of music on top of a day of gaming on the weekend without charging and to my surprise it was only down to 80% battery.
The sound quality is good, but I do sort of miss the 5.1 surround sound setting on the Cloud 2 even if it is just basically just a bass boost. The microphone is a lot better than the previous version and it works well for phone calls or voice chats. I don’t think I’d use this over a desktop microphone for recording videos though. Overall, I feel like this headset was well worth the price and could even compete with higher end headsets. I try not to review something without having months of use to get idea of the lifespan of the product but even if these broke tomorrow, I’d probably buy another because I love it that much.

The build quality on these are very solid, easily better than any other headset I’ve purchased in this price range. The clamping force is a tad tight on my larger head but still not a problem and causes me no fatigue – overall very comfortable and plush headset.
The sound is pretty neutral to me, slightly lacking in bass out of the box but you can use the equalizer to bring it up some. Overall, very pleasant and not harsh.
Very pleased with this headset especially for the price. If it’s on sale for $70 or even under it’s an easy buy. My only real con is the AUX/USB cable is not removable. If that’s ever damaged or breaks the headset is effectively trash.

This headset has delivered on what it promises so far!
A quick easter egg! The USB transmitter is a Type-C transmitter and it comes with a USB-C to USB-A Converter. I have an Android phone. SO I just slap that sucker in the USB-C port of the phone and it works great! While these are not Bluetooth-enabled Headphones, I am content to have this option for most of my calls. I wish it was easier to get a hold of a second transmitter so I could have one on my person.
The headset’s battery life is legitimate. I got them out of the box at 80%. Been using them for about 2 weeks, and am just at 20% now. The wireless range is also great. I can go upstairs, make coffee, lunch, etc. with no lag or disconnections. This was my biggest concern where long battery life is promised. A reasonable compromise between the wireless alphas and the cloud2 wireless. (300 hours vs. 30 hours respectively)
The audio quality is clear. I am not an audiophile, so someone else please expand on that topic.
The comfort of the cloud series is very much here. There are no replacement ear pads with this package. But I think it’s fair to say that the majority of users prefer the leatherette pads. I wear these for 5+hours at a time and experience no ear or neck strain.
Time will tell whether these will last the test of time like my previous cloud2’s. I simply replaced them due to the leatherette pads wearing off and flaking all over the place. I also enjoy not having wires on my desk anymore.
Great value for what it delivers.
