I read the reviews & the specs. Felt great for 5 minutes. The screen went black once during a presentation, & I attributed it operator error. To my surprise it continued to go black & the screen would glitch. Nope. So keep shopping this was a horrible laptop.

The customized laptop is great, quiet, and slim.
The power brick is larger than I expected, but the Nvidia RTX 2060 is probably the reason. The shipment came on time, undamaged, as expected and is a really good for the money purchase
I definitely would purchase from this supplier again and of course I trusted the DELL Inspiron 16 would be a good fit for my needs.

A very nice laptop for a good price. Just be aware that at least once per day it will spontaneously and without any warning turn off its wi-fi, and you will have to go to settings and turn it back on. When I looked on line for a solution to this, I saw other users reporting the same problem. Dell is my favorite make of laptop, but this glitch can be very annoying, so I hope they can push out a fix via an over the air update.

It is a very fast computer with a full 16 inch display. Does not have number entry keypad but that allows the speakers to face upward.

Dell has really upped their game with this Laptop.
I am blown away by this Laptop Speed, Video quality and Sound.
This is a kind of Laptop you want to buy if your looking for something with a really nice Display, is very Fast but cab also can do regular Jobs for the whole day while just on battery power.
Video Quality is absolutely Jaw dropping. I am looking at some LG Demo Videos on YT and it is just so detailed and rich in color, with Blacks that are fantastic. Comparing this to my 4K LG OLED TV this 16″ laptop screen has so much Pixel density that it is actually way beyond it in visual detail and quality.
The Sound is very good for a Laptop. The Mid’s and Highs are very clear and crisp but of course the Bass is weaker, but it does produce enough Bass to make everything sound Vibrant enough.
Overall very good speaker quality for a Laptop and they can also get very loud.
The all Metal construction quality is fantastic. The Laptop is actually very thin and sleek when compared to other Laptops of this of this caliber. The thing feels really solid in my Hands and nothing flexes or bends, the Deck is very solid, unlike so many I have used. The Keyboard buttons have a nice feel and are fully backlit. Overall with this laptop it does not feel like anything will break.
Battery Life is what really sets this Laptop Apart from other high end models.
Just Browsing the Web or Watching Videos etc gave me so much battery life that I had to leave it Playing YT Videos and come back in the Morning. It clocked in about 13 HOURS of runtime and had roughly 20% power left. After Playing various Games to check out things I was seeing more than 3 hours of runtime on a charge for heavy game playing. Of course playing Games while not plugged in is not really advisable.
The built in Webcam works as expected, The Video quality is good and pretty much does the Job as well or better than any Laptop or Phone Cam I have seen. It adjusts well to various lighting conditions and sudden changes.
Gaming:
Once set to High Performance mode this thing really takes off like a Jet and yes it produces heat but there is No laptop that has this Kind of Speed that is not going to produce the same Amount of Heat.
Benchmarking this Beauty with 3DMark and QuickCPU produced a lot of very impressive numbers.
This is a Laptop that will easily play very demanding Games like Fortnite produced frame Rates from 100 Plus FPS on High Settings. On lower settings Fortnite will do 400+ FPS.
For Video Editing, it works like a Charm with Adobe Premier 4K rendering and also some Stacking Software that I am running for Photos.
It has actually put my fairly new Desktop to complete shame.
The Charger that Comes with it uses up a USB-C Port but this was really not an issue for me as I just purchased a $40 Separate Dell 130W Charger so as to free up the Port.
Overall this Laptop is just Amazing.

The build on this Dell Inspiron feels much more solid and well made due to the all metal construction. There are vents on both the sides as well as on the back to allow for good airflow which is vital for a high performance laptop. There is barely any deck flex or lid flex and it feels like the laptop will definitely hold up in the long run. The 16:10 display is really clean. The colors look good after some tweaking around, as the display shows warmer colors out of the box. Pictures and videos are sharp and smooth due to the 2560*1600 resolution and 120hz. The keyboard is good with medium travel, the keys are spaced well and are big in size. The keyboard isn’t for gaming as the keys bottom out, so I would definitely recommend attaching an external gaming keyboard if you plan to game. As there is no number pad, the keyboard and trackpad are both centrally aligned which I personally like. The trackpad size is fine but definitely could be bigger. It responds and works well and I have have no issues with it other than size. The performance is top notch as expected from the Intel core ultra i7 chip set. The battery life is actually pretty long and much better than expected. I was able to get 6-8hrs of regular usage. When gaming, the fans do spin up and become decently loud, not as much as an actual gaming laptop but the noise is noticeable. The 4060 is an all around solid card that can run most games smoothly, the laptop does heat up when GPU usage is maxed out and would definitely cap the fps to keep temps low. Overall, the performance, display, and build are really good, and the keyboard, trackpad and speakers are fine for most PC uses. I feel this is really a great overall laptop for most computing needs.

This laptop has all the specs to get your work done as well as smoothly run games. Has no problem running Overwatch 2 and Baldur’s Gate 3 on maximum settings. Screen resolution is fantastic!
However, the fans are super loud and it gets very hot while running these more resource-intensive games. I would have liked more than one USB-C port so that I could have both the charger and connect it to a dock. Most docks on the market don’t work well because they would also need to pass a 150w+ current to the laptop otherwise it says it can’t boot itself up.
Not sure if it’s a defect but mine makes recurring clicking noises that I usually notice when playing games. Doesn’t seem to affect performance yet but is a slight concern.
