Bought this for a friend as she needed a dependable laptop. Searched high and low across specs, usability, performance, screen size, and features. This one checked all the boxes, and she couldn’t be happier with the device. Runs great, feels/looks great, and overall is an amazing purchase.
One thing to note, it does come bundled with some bloatware, which a lot of it can be removed. Remove with caution, but beyond that, it’s been a great device. Even the touchscreen isn’t the typical over-sensitive touchscreen you find on a lot of devices.

I love this computer, very happy with the large amount of RAM and fast SSD. It meets all of my portable needs. It’s super fast boot (even with “fast boot” turned off for the reasons below), large SSD, lots of RAM and beautiful touchscreen make this a fantastic computer for most people.
The only thing of note is that HP ships this thing with “fast boot” turned on, which means when you perform a “shutdown” of the computer, it is actually hibernating and still using the battery. If you are using it untethered from the power brick, the battery will be close to empty if you leave it in this state overnight. Uncheck the “fast boot” option is Settings and you can preserve your battery when you shut down the computer.
Super happy with the purchase.

Like HP Products . Loaded Computer but Battery Dies after 2 1/2 hours of use after only 2 Months ??? Wasn’t that way at beginning. And to add the Charger is big and bulky, like a DC Converter. Very Disappointing. As mentioned in a earlier thread when you reach out for service another person’s info comes up under the order like it was actually a used not New Computer, which it was sold as.

I waited to long to go back to windows 10. I don’t know if it’s windows or the computer, but I can’t change screen brightness, Bluetooth keeps cutting out and file explorer won’t unzip a file anymore. I see no advantage to windows 11 even if it was all working
Benjamin Burge –
Was okay until the hard drive failed. Less than a year old. Sits on a desk in a cool basement- so no physical reason other than just poor quality I assume.
Miri C –
Easy to start it up! Fast, and light weight

I have had this a week now and everything is working great. The screen is huge and the comp is fast. I am getting used to the touchscreen as it is very handy when I am setting back and have the comp in my lap.
