I’m building my first PC and bought this motherboard (new, not used), and after extensive testing and eventually taking it to a professional, I found out that the motherboard is faulty. I thought I had built the PC wrong or something so I tried for ages to work it out. Unfortunately now the return window has passed because I have been trying to figure this out myself and learn the process, so I’m out of luck and stuck with a broken part. I would recommend being cautious with these, and confirm that they are working ASAP so you don’t end up like me. The PC technician I spoke to said that Asrock brand parts often have faults, so take that for what it’s worth.

I love all the features of this motherboard. I build my own PCs every few years and was due for a couple upgrades recently. I was so impressed by the first installation, I ordered another one of these motherboards for my second build. I’ve bought other recognizable brand boards in the past but have had failures. This board has been running strong for 5 months now and not a hiccup.

This product is fantastic. I downloaded the bios file from the manufacturer website. Renamed it like the instruction manual for this motherboard said to do. Put the update on a USB stick. Put on the 24 pin power connector On the motherboard. Turned on the PSU. Put the USB stick in the designated USB drive port And I pressed The flashback bios button. Waited for it to finish. Installed the processor And the ram. Set up my computer And waited one minute for it to post and everything went well. Unlike my experience with the I-9 processor and the Z790 motherboards Which was nothing but a Catastrophic fail. This motherboard and a 7800 X 3-D CPU are a match made in heaven for a gamer that wants to game only, It’s good for productivity in my honest opinion as well. I saw this motherboard had no reviews and was very worried but rest assured The appearance was well, The pins weren’t bent, The bios worked correctly, And best of all it’s much more cheaper than an Intel motherboard. I go for this motherboard because it’s an excellent value For an excellent price. An I-9 processor like the 14 900 K And ASUS ROG z790 motherboard Is about almost $1000 Compared to this motherboard and am AMD like the 7800x3D processor which is exactly $600 is $400 cheaper and performs better.

This motherboard arrived in perfect condition and there’s no problem with his performance. On the other hand, I ordered a B650 LiveMixer from Amazon before this one and it never arrived and I wasn’t issued a refund or anything, so it must be a matter of luck. So this B650 Steel Legend looks clean and feel solid, If you have luck to receive it without problems is a big gain.

En teoria una opción mas accesible para socket AM5 de tamaño ITX que alternativas de otras marcas, pero a mi no me funcion. Me asegure que los componentes estuvieran bien conectados CPU (7600X), RAM, PSU, revise de nuevo los cables de mi case sin embargo nunca encendio. No se si hubiera necesitado una actualización de BIOS pero no quise dedicarle mas tiempo asi que pase todos mis componentes a otra motherboard que habia comprado antes y si prendio. No se si fue mala suerte o simplemente no funcionaba. Cabe mencionar que el backplate es de plastico no se sentia muy robusto el IO shield.

Call this 4.5 stars. Half a star off because the space between the CPU slot and RAM slots is a bit too tight for the Thermalright Peerless Assassin fan I had in my old ASRock B650 PG Riptide. So I had to order a new fan with a more upright profile.
Other than that, this board is great. Install was easy and it posted the RAM in much less time than expected. Also recognized my multiple SSD drives without the “connect each drive one at a time” issues I had with the other Mobo.
I didn’t get the wifi version because I prefer ethernet connection,

Not a bad price and it works really well. I put a Ryzen 9 7900X and 32 gigs of DDR5 ram, pretty dang fast after it figures out the ram settings. Which most of these boards do the same thing. Very impressive boot times and pretty solid.. no BSOD’s! I am happy with my purchase and I do recommend this board. Up until a few years back, I had never heard of Asrock. Now, they are popular and I have used a few of the B550 and B570 boards. None were bad!!

I’m sure this is a great board if it works. I’m actually in the process of a return with Amazon. Double/triple checked all connections. Cleared cmos and flashed the bios, even returned the ram and bought a new set hoping it was the easier fix. But no. I get power, all fans spin and rgb will function. But it will not post. Mine also did not come with a manual, so I looked online which was not a terrifically easy process. Bummed, but this happens from time to time. Not an indictment against Asrock, but giving it a 1 star for it not working. With the lack of selection across the board for mini itx am5 builds, and dang near all of the mini-itx motherboards having the warning that it’s frequently returned… this process reminded me of what I should’ve done in the first place. Just go full atx.

+Built in Wifi I don’t have to buy separately. This product uses AMD Wi-Fi*** and for those who want AX it’s better to buy a cheaper budget board and a separate AX M2 card. For the record, the wifi works good so far for me.

Came in intact condition. I have the matching gpu on it and haven’t had any crashes for the few months I’ve been using. Booted correctly on the 1st try. No issues with the wifi, works well with the antennas. Red team for the win :p
