Warning! I am totally disappointed with the way amazon parcels are packed…
I buy an expensive, small and very fragile electronic part and it arrives packed in a flexible blister in a plain paper envelope.
Simply bending the envelope slightly with your hands can very easily break or damage the entire part.
I was going to send it back, because now I don’t know if, for example, there isn’t any damage or microcracks on the electronic part that will cause a failure over time, but I needed it very much and so far it works….
What happens next, we’ll see.
If someone is responsible for the standard and quality of the packaging of parcels – please address this issue and improve the quality of the service, because the company loses a lot in terms of reputation and annoys customers

Working perfect with a Lenovo Thinkbook 16P Gen5.
Runs at 5200Mhz, but if you are going for 96GB or memory, it’s the quantity that counts over speed anyways.
Takes a few minutes the first time you boot it up with just a black screen, so don’t worry and let it initialize.

Great capacity and timings, working just fine now on my G18 with the new 328 bios @ 5200. It’s RAM and does it’s job.

Saw some old ads of 96gb amd scar 17’s HX non-x3d, so I decided to give it a try on the Scar 17 X3D. X3D ships with 4800 ram for some reason. These work great, all I did was stick em in, nothing else. Shows up as 96gb, 5200mhz, which is what this laptop can do. Played games for a few days, everything’s fine. Higher speed 5600 memory is always better than getting 5200, 5600 is a little more guaranteed that it will do 5200 without any occasional errors. If this 96gb set is available in 5200, I have no idea if it will work the same without any headaches.

I’m developing/testing applications by running multiple vmware machines so needed more memory on my Asus m16 notebook. Installed and running the 96gb for a week already and so far no hiccups.
I tried before a Mushkin Redline 96gb and waited a minute but my notebook did not boot.
The Crucial 96gb took around a minute to boot my notebook initially and the next boots are normally faster.
So be patient, wait and try 2 or 3 times so see if the 96gb memory works on your notebook.
Does not seem to heat much also but I have added icepc laptop memory heatsinks:

Crucial RAM 96GB Kit (2x48GB) DDR5 5600MHz Laptop Memory CT2K48G56C46S5, 100% worked in my Asus ROG SCAR 17 Gaming Laptop (2023) G733PZ-XS97. FYI, Bios 329, and tested it under the bios diagnostics tool, no memory errors, 100% complete. Everything appears to be perfect. I checked ram using CPUID, runs at 5600 confirmed. Crucial needs to update to reflect 100% compatibility. Now I have 96GB ram versus 64gb.

Works great in my Framework 13 with an AMD processor. I’m able to play most games on low settings. The extra RAM is great for virtual machines. I go with Crucial for their warranty and support. It’s worth the extra money in my opinion.

it works on Acer Helios 18 PH-72 at 5200MT/s

Back in Early January I Went from 32gb to these 96gb! TO BAD the price dropped right after I ordered but at least my machine is now a beast with Intel i9 5.5ghz, Nvidia 4090 16gb, 4TB NVME (I want 2x8tb NVME hehe) and also upgraded to WiFi 7 + BT 5.5. These DDR5 Sodimm sticks makes it top notch since I cant find 2x64gb anywhere. Have these and you can do lots of heavy tasks at the same time. ON A LAPTOP!

The manufacturer MINISFORUM, said the Venus Series UM790 Pro Mini PC would take a maximum of 64 gigabytes of Ram. Every review just doubled down on this limitation, but I found a post on the internet that said it worked for them, and I decided with Amazon’s return policy that it was worth the gamble. Happy I did, they are wonderful. I put several days of running low level assembly language memory tests and they all pass with flying colors. The UM790 shares video processing with the cpu, so extra memory allows me to set aside 16 G for video and 80 G for cpu use. This little (5 inch x 5 inch x 2 inch) computer runs at about 10 watts so there is little need for a big desk top computer these days. At 78 years old, I remember using an Apple II with 16 k of Ram with a tape recorder for program storage. Life is good.
Edit 6/22/2024: Still working great, no drop outs of funny business, very happy with these chips!
