It’s insane that I paid $16.99 for this SSD. The hard drive used to be one of the most expensive components to account for when building or repairing computer. Not the case now. It is only 120GB, but if you do a lot computer/laptop repairs and need to replace an old sata 2 or m.2 ssd and don’t need a ton of storage space, it’s perfect. No, it doesn’t have world class read/write speeds, but it is still fast enough.

I use this as a project drive. So if I got gms2 photoshop Lightroom or filmora project open and running. I store it on this before moving it my HHD. Works well for the use. I don’t got any complaints. I figured based on the price it wouldn’t be a good idea to use it for any os stuff but have run Linux mint-ubuntu-zorin-and Windows 10 as well and I had no complaints. Been in my laptop about 8 months now. Highly recommend for the odd use or just a small storage amount or light uses like me. Gaming- didn’t bother trying Minecraft works great tho. But it also works great on a hhd. Storage wish it was a little big but it was the absolute cheapest m.2 at the time of buying.

P.s my uses are pretty light and don’t do anything majorly intensive.

Great cheap little SSD. Just enough capacity for just about anything for a contained system. Speeds are decent even for a boot drive if desired. Comes in a solid efficient package. No complaints.

I bought this to add a second, dedicated drive for my Acer Aspire 5. Installed Linux on it and it has worked like a charm, puts the Windows partition to shame. Worked perfectly upon install – remarkably fast for everyday use. Great value, reliable and highly recommended.

There’ll always be lemons and a ton of people who can’t manage to install an SSD, but in my case. the SSD went into the computer and functioned just fine. This is a B+M keyed drive, so make sure your PC/Mobo has an appropriate M.2 slot. It performs well, but this is NOT a high performance SSD – if you’re coming from a HDD or an older SSD, you’ll still see some improvements, but this isn’t gonna get you the absolute fastest transfer speeds/loading times. Great for the price, though!

Wait and See !

This particular drive was in use as the main system disk for a TrueNAS server and failed after about 8-months. I was able to make a warranty claim online without any hassle and got an RMA code within a few hours. The replacement drive arrived about 3-weeks after mailing in the failed drive.

Kingston is my go-to brand for breathing life into old laptops with conventional hard drives. They are solid drives at a value price. I have used quite a few Kingston drives and have not had any complaints. This is the very first failure I encountered and the hassle free warranty experience gives me confidence in trusting Kingston in the future.

It didn’t work in Home Assistant Yellow, which is what I needed it for. That is probably more of a knock on the device I was installing it in, but I wish I’d known that before I bought it.

Worked perfectly, exactly as described in the description. I’m happy with my purchase, I will be back for more great deals in the future. Thank you Tocantins, it was a pleasure doing business with you.
