Coming from a corsair carbide air 540, i have a lot of internals to consider.
The move from the carbide 540 to the 3500X was down to space – I will be sad to see the 540 go.
That being said, the 3500X in white is an absolute beauty, a real gem from Corsair.
Build quality is fantastic, the finished look of the case is amazing. Naturally, the case came very well packed – I also like that there is no manual in the box but instead there is a QR code linking direct to the manual online.
My only negative comment relates to the size of motherboard the case can take. Yes, it does take ATX – i have the Gigabyte X399 Auros Pro. Whilst the board fits perfectly, if i had a GPU that occupied three slots, I would need to choose whether to lose using the fastest PCI-e lane or the front panel USB ports as the cable supplied to connect the USB 3 sockets is fairly rigid and almost chunky. Takes a little manipulation with a 2 slot GPU to have the USB’s connected without fouling the GPU fan.
Does the case support ATX boards – Yes, of course. Just do your research beforehand to ensure everything will fit.
Now, back to the positives for this case, it’s gorgeous, well designed, well thought out, well packaged and exceptionally well finished – did i mention it is a gorgeous case?

Boitier le plus facile a monté que j’ai utilisé jusqu’à présent, beaucoup de place a l’arrière. J’ai acheté la version de base et utiliser des ventilateurs thermalright inversé pour le fond. Je n’aime pas voir le dessous d’un ventilateur standard sinon.

So far it’s been a great case. Installation is easy and straight forward. Love how the glass panels just pop in and allow quick access. The visuals are great how it is setup. Only con in my opinion is the side panel where all the wires go, compared to my old Corsair case. This one is real tight, once all the fans got installed it was a pain to tuck all the wires. But not a biggie..

I really love this case from Corsair. I was impressed about the price. I was in between this one and a NZXT fish case. But I find regret about Corsair, it’s beautiful and great airflow. You can place any AIO and fits perfect with the latest GPU

Devo dire che sono soddisfatto è molto spazioso ha un ottimo airflow i materiali sono si qualità e soprattutto cosa non scontata e dotato di filtri anti polvere ovunque
L unico difetto che gli trovo e che dietro non e dotato di passanti per i cavi e il cable management non risulta semplicissimo

Airflow is great , it’s a stunning case , it has so many anchors and hooks for cable management , I have a rx6750xt 3x GPU and it’s 12 3/4 long and there is a ton of room and I have a full size tax set up.
it’s surprisingly sturdy even with all the sides off 🙂 oh yeah did I mention the front , the top and both the sides come off , very accessible and easy to make changes to your pc . Recommend this case 100%
