Very spacious. Easy to build in. Prioritized GPU cooler is very handy for overclocking. Beautiful array of LED colors for display.

la tour a super airflow et le ventilateur sur le case hdd aide vraiment a apporter l air frais sur la Gpu direct dans les ailettes de refroidissement

Overall a solid product. I previously owned the HAF 932 and upgraded to this after more than a decade. Solid modern case with lots of space inside. Front fans are pretty big, but the stock fans are not that quiet. They’re ok, but at this price point that’s to be expected. Magnetic filter on top is nice for keeping dust out. Plenty of space inside for larger components and keeping wiring out of sight.

The only thing I didn’t like about this case was the extra (GPU) fan inside. I took it out and airflow is great like that. If you’re a little better at organizing your cables than I am, you have plenty of room for a clean build.

I like design, features, connections, materials.
But warranty is a fake.
After I build my PC and powered on I heard that one of front Fan have side noise, it was making a noise like it was catching on something and it was very annoying. I checked the fan it was clear. Amazon sent me to fill out the form to cooller master web site. They open RMA ticket and said that they haven’t same FAN for replacement in stock and they will send me asap. Weeks went by, they answered my question the same way. Then after a couple of months, when I asked, they said that I had to send them the whole case to have it replaced, which is unacceptable to me. I grumbled, but the issue was never resolved.

This haf 500 case has good and bad features. The dual 200mm front fans are “haf” blocked by the 120/140mm chassis fan mounts. Airflow will be affected even at full 800rpm. No front intake filter means more dust will enter the case. The perforated mesh is not fine enough to be used as a dust filter. The picture in the ad says it supports 140mm exhaust fan but only 120mm can fit. The gpu swivel fan on top of the hard drive bay seems nice but has no argb. It would have been nice if the hard drive bay had a cover. The removable plastic psu shroud is nice for those who want to show their high end psu or have air intake from the inside of the case to help with airflow. The 200mm fans has a slight wobble at any speed. It’s a nice big case but the small fan mounts on the front ruined the potential high airflow. This is basically an old case back from 2010 that has rgb lighting and a glass side panel to make it look modern.

Really well constructed case, excellent airflow with plenty of vents. Front fans provide plenty of internal air to allow cooling out the back and top exhaust areas. Space behind motherboard has room to hide cables with a lot of options for internal routing where needed.

I built a computer for my daughter using this case and it turned out extremely well. I used an ATX motherboard, 850 watt PSU, large air cooler for CPU, and a full size RTX 3080 GPU. The case is solidly constructed, made with quality materials, and easily accommodates standard size components. Being a mid size case, I’d recommend it for an average or common component set. If you’re going for super compact and light, you don’t need a case of this size or weight. If you’re building a mega computer with huge liquid coolers and such, probably you should look for something specifically designed for that. But for the majority of self built computers, this is an awesome case that will give you zero problems with your build.
Miguel Vargas –
It’s exactly as advertised. My son was in awe, and so was I when I completed his build.
