This may be my favorite pc case ever. It is very functional and the rgb looks great. Lots of space for cable management.

I can’t believe that this cost only $95. I just can’t believe it. Lian Li can’t be making any money off of these.

I’ve been eyeing this one since it came out, and now that they’re finally getting into stock after the initial sellout, I quickly picked one up. I thought it would be a good deal, but I was still shocked at how good it truly is for the money. This case should easily have cost in the $150-$200 range at least.

The case is quite heavy. It’s almost entirely steel with a few small plastic pieces – construction is both precise and very solid. The Lian Li quality is definitely there – this is not a cheapo case, and I don’t really see anywhere that they obviously cut corners.

It was a breeze to build in. Everything is easily accessible. You can open up all panels and get to pretty much anything. Fan installation was a breeze with the removable front fan bracket. The drive cage is movable so that you can either make room for radiator support or fit a large PSU in there and have room for cables. There are lots of mounting points for SSDs, and the 3x hard drive cage is easy to use. The front panel easily pops right off and on, and the RGB is connected using prongs – no wires. The only minor issue I had was that I had to use extensions for the fan cables to get them to the bottom of my motherboard, but that’s a minor issue and if you’re using a fan hub of some type not an issue at all.

Cable management… What cable management? It comes with zip ties and some velcro ties included, but you don’t even really need them. The cable cover panels on the back side are **GREAT**. I literally just shoved all of the exposed cables into the PSU shroud and under the cable cover plates and viola, cleanest build I’ve ever done. This is a zero-effort cable-management case, and I love it.

Thermals are better than what some reviewers have said (looking at you, Gamers Nexus Steve). It comes with 3 – 120mm fans, and despite what some reviewers said they don’t seem loud at all to me. I moved the front fan to the top for exhaust and put 2 -140mm Phanteks fans in there for intake, and I got decent thermals with that 5x fan setup. I’m running a stock Ryzen 7 3700X with Wraith Prism and got around 77C running a stress test – not bad at all, since the R7 is rated to 95C. My idle temps are hovering in the 38C to 40C range. Good enough for some overclocking headroom. If you’re using liquid you won’t have any issues either, as this case is very rad-friendly.

The RGB is very nice, too. I’m reducing the amount of RGB in my builds now and I think that this is just the right amount, with a surprisingly large array of options for colors and modes available from the front panel controller.

I haven’t gotten any of the optional accessories yet but I’ll probably pick up the hot swap back plate, as hot swapping hard drives is something I’d actually do with this build. I very much appreciate that Lian Li made those optional and didn’t include them by default, as that helps bring the cost for the base unit down substantially while also allowing the user to tailor those options to their use case and budget.

Overall I’m not really seeing any cons here. I’m truly amazed that this is available at this price point. It’s a premium case at a mid-range price.

I looked at a ton of cases and watched a ton of video reviews, some cases were twice the price of this one, but I’m really glad I bought the Lancool II. Easy to build in, good cable management with cutouts to pass wires through, and lots of room in the back to stuff those wires. The case is heavy, you won’t want to lug it around, and there’s nothing cheap-feeling about it. This is a solid, well made case with lots of room inside. Comes with three fans, which is a good start at least, and a nice dust filter on top.

Full recommendation for this case. I’m not an experienced PC builder, but in a few hours I had a clean, good looking build in this case.

I’ve been building computers since 1994, and this is easily the best case I’ve ever purchased.

I know cases have come a long way since then, and even in the last 5-10 years. Then I heard there was a case that had hinged tempered glass, flip-down access panels, durable mesh filters, addressable RGB, and magnetic catches all around (including the dust filters!). I was actually putting off building a new rig, and when I saw this case, I basically scrambled to throw my money at Lian-Li. No other case mattered.

When it arrived, I was heartbroken to find that somehow it had been damaged in shipping. The plastic mounts that hold the front faceplate on had snapped. I contacted Lian-Li directly on the off chance they could help, and they sent me replacement mounts. So not only is the case amazing, but Lian-Li has a great support team as well.

And the case is everything I hoped it would be. Not only are the sides hinged, but they easily slide off so they’re not flapping around the whole time you’re working in the case. The back panel of the motherboard (pictured) where most cable management would go, even has convenient and aesthetically pleasing covers. There are plenty of zip mounts in the back as well, which were wide enough for my velcro securing straps. It’s like they interviewed multiple system builders and took copious notes on everything anyone might want.

What I found really interesting about the dust filters is that they’re a perforated and flexible material with magnetic backing. So it’s easy to slip off for cleaning, and very durable.

About the only annoying thing about the case itself is that it doesn’t actually come with the USB-C case header, which is only available separately. Still, there aren’t very many dual-end USB-C cables around just yet, so that’s not a pressing concern. I’m also guessing this is one of the reasons the case only costs about $100, which is a massive bargain given everything it does.

This thing is the gold standard of case design, in my opinion. Everything lines up perfectly, the quality is top notch, and I couldn’t be happier! My next build will be a Lian-Li for sure.

This is a great, cost-effective case. Highlights from my experience so far:
–Very nice aesthetics overall, including glass and front grill.
–Smart layout with the side access doors and the glass sides swinging open then lifting off when you start working the internals.
–Cable management and case layout are SUPREME. Easiest install experience I’ve had in a long time. Very easy to tuck things away and keep things looking tight and tidy. Very impressed with that.
–Case is quiet and system runs cool. Good airflow overall.
–The front LED lights work with some decent presets right out of the box, but it’s really easy to connect it to the motherboard and get fancy.

The big drawback for me was that the cable for the front/top USB-C connector is a ~$15 add on that doesn’t come with the case. This isn’t the biggest deal, and I’m happy to overlook this given the price of the case compared to competitors.

That aside, easy to recommend this case for your next build.
