I had an H510 case and I wanted to upgrade for airflow. I’ve never built a pc before or swapped a case. This took me approximately 3 hours and was very simple. There’s so much more space for cabling, the included RGB fans are excellent since it was only 5 dollars more for them. I’m glad they plug into a mobo header because NZXT’s CAM software is god awful.

Has room for many fans, a beefy 4080 GPU, vertical stand, and a lot of room for cable management. The only problem is if you wanna mount a CPU cooler to the top, the radiator is thick and can come too close to wires attached to the motherboard at the top. You could of course mount it to the side but then it would change the look of your PC. If only the placement of the motherboard was just slightly lower…..
Nevertheless, great case overall, superior cooling, space, design, and space for cable management.

this review is for the older NZXT H7 Flow RGB CM-H71FW-R1, not the 2024 model or the newer one coming after that.
low-quality standards:
-cheap noisy 3-pin fans, had to add resistors in the power wire to slow the speed down
-no fan control board included
-center motherboard standoff hole too high, had to grind down the standoff itself to get it level with the other mb standoffs
-hard drive tray on the bottom couldn’t be screwed in when mounted at it’s rear-most position, the screw hole didn’t quite line up
if you can get this case on sale for $100 and deal with those issues it might be bearable, but there are better options… if i had more time i would have returned it for another model.

This case has 4 fans included, you will need to buy fans for the top. My pc stays below 65C during a heavy gaming load now 10/10

I bought the Flow RGB case. It comes with 3 RGB fans up front and an exhaust fan in the rear. The build quality of the case is nice, lots of room for cable mounting, the panels are super easy to remove. The top, and both sides are removable panels which makes it super easy to access everything. My main problem is I bought the RGB case and it doesn’t come with a RGB or fan controller. Instead is wants a 3-pin 5v ARGB pin on the mobo, but my mobo only has a 4 -pin 12v ARGB header. Apparently there is no trivial adapter for this. The RGB fans they send you are designed to work with their light controllers, but instead of sending a controller they give you an adapter for 3-pin ARGB. This is super disappointing, because even if I could plug this into my mobo I can’t control the RGB or fan speed with their software. I already have their Karken cooler which DID come with a controller, and I control that through the CAM software they provide. So now on top of buying this case I have to buy a $50 RGB fan controller from them to even get the RGB in the fans to work. It’s just really disappointing, because you’d hope that the $40 additional you pay for RGB fans would include an RGB controller. Even if I had an 3-pin ARGB header I’d probably still want the controller, because it’s way easier to just setup all my fans in the same software. In either case I’m running my chassis fans off GPU temps anyway, because it’s always going to be the hottest component when gaming anyway.
I still give this 4 stars because I really like the case, but you’d really expect a RGB fan controller with the RGB fans, because when you buy those same fans from NZXT they come with a controller, and at $40 extra you’d expect it to just include the $70 fans + controller set with the case. You’d think buying it together would get you a deal, but honestly you’d probably be better off buying the non-RGB case and just buying the 3 fans and light controller for like $70. If they can’t swing throwing in the light controller at the current cost, I’d gladly pay $20 extra. I think almost everyone is gonna want the light controller.

Excellent product. It will keep your components very cool and has excellent air flow, aesthetically beautiful too, the removable panels make it easier for installation and maintanance, but my only negative opinion is that the manual doesn’t explain very well about the removable side panels because you first have to pull outwards from the upper parts but for the lower attachments you actually have to pull upwards instead of outwards or else you’ll break them which is something I had to discover on my own.

I have purchased this product as part of a complete PC upgrade. After using my old mid-tower PC case for so many years, I wanted something modern that offers more space, more optimal cooling configurations and allow for proper cable management. I was initially reluctant in buying this case as I have never experienced NZXT products before, but so far I have made the right choice.
This is a decent well built and sturdy mid-tower case. I find it a little on the expensive side and it is definitely heavier than my old PC case. If you are an old PC user transitioning to a modern case, you will immediately find out that the entire front panel area is replaced with fans. There is no more support for optical drives (CD-ROM/DVD/BR, etc.) – Don’t worry, this is not an issue, you can still use your optical drives using Vantec’s optical to USB enclosures and they work great.
This case features a perforated top and front panel with a glass side panel. If you want easy and quick access to these panels, you will be happy to know that access to the front and side panels is tool-less, just pull and snap off the panels.
The RGB version comes preinstalled with 3 x front F140 RGB Core fans & 1 x rear exhaust F120Q Quiet Airflow fan (no rgb). In my opinion, the included fans do a decent enough job. Some people may want to replace these with their own fans, but so far, these fans work great for me. My system is an i5-13600k + RTX 4070 OC, and my temperatures are very decent. The 3 RGB fans are already connected to splitters, so all you need to do is connect the ARGB 5V end to your motherboard (make sure to use the right pins, this is only for 5V ARGB!). Another connector goes to your motherboard’s chasis fan connector. All 3 of those front fans will be controlled through the single connector. Do not worry about the 3 fans on the same connector, your fan connectors should support up to 1A (make sure to confirm with your motherboard manual). Do not forget to plug the rear fan to your motherboard as well.
I have tested the fans in different profiles anywhere from quit to full speed (1200rpm) and so far I have no complaints – whether at low speed or high I did not come across any whining or unpleasant noise – they are relatively quiet. On the higher speeds you can hear them more, but it is the air movement, it is soft and not anywhere near as noisy as some other fans.
The case offers good management of your cables, leaving them all on one side of the cable and on the other side, your motherboard and its components, with enough holes so you can pass the cables through easily from the other side or from below.
This case comes included with 2 top mounted USB 3.2 type A ports and one type C port along with an illuminated power switch and a headphone audio jack. Personally I would have preferred the USB connectors placed on the side as with my old case, but eventually I got used to the top placement.
I like that the case offers several fan configurations – such as up to 3 front 120mm or 140mm fans and up to 3 x 120 or 2 x 140mm top fans and of course 1x 120mm or 140mm for the rear.
For cable management it is decent enough with its wide channels, hooks, & straps. This case has included 2 mounts for 2.5 drives and a bay for 3.5 drives. In the same area below the case, on one side, you have the power supply area. Since I am not using 3.5 hard drives and only SSDs, I remove the drive bay from the bottom to free up more space as the cables coming out of the power supply occupy a lot of space below, even when using fully modular ones.
This case has dust filters on all its intakes including the bottom where the power supply sits. These filters can easily be removed.
What I do not like about this case, the manual, some instructions include only pictures and can be confusing for those who use this type of case for the first time, the instructions could be more complete and better written. You will notice that one of the standoffs in the case is higher than the rest and has no hole, it took me a while to figure out this was normal and used to align the motherboard. Normally this area is a hole on old generation PC cases where you would place a screw in.
Overall this is a well built PC case with enough space for the most demanding cooling and I highly recommend.
