I had no problem with the cooler it worked find thank you

Used this on a small PC build, on a MATX motherboard.
The cooler is nice and small, so fits anything. For my motherboard (an Asus) there was tons of room for the RAM and large heat-sinks the motherboard has. There was also plenty of clearance from the M2 slot, which makes a pleasant change.
Being Noctua, it is expensive, but the quality is high. It arrived well packed, with everything you need. There are instructions inside, and also plenty of videos online. Instructions are very clear and precise. It assembles easily and with little chance of a mistake. The backplate is metal, not cheap plastic.
It mentions how to tighten up the screws in the video. In short, tighten them until they stop moving but do not use a lot of force. As soon as they stop moving, they are done.
Everything does as it should.
Mounted normally, the cooler blows air out of the left and right sides. But the fan slightly overlaps the top and bottom, so it blows some cold air down those sides too. So all sides get air, which is good for surrounding components, especially any M2 SSD you have fitted.
I ended up replacing the 15mm fan with a 25mm fan. The Noctua NF-A9 PWM chromax black. It’s basically the same fan as supplied with the cooler, but 25mm thick instead of 15mm. This was largely because “because I could”. It happened there was enough room, so why not?
I didn’t measure the difference, but the NF-A9 Static Pressure is better than 50% more so it must make a significant difference.
Oh, and by the way, 25mm fans do fit because Noctua are really clever and there are two sets of indents on the heat-sink so the fan clips work with both sizes of fan.
This is a mid-range cooler, and I think it’s real strength lies in the fact that it is so small, it won’t have many compatibility issues.
It is not the most powerful cooler, but for low power builds it’s perfect.
Highly recommended.

sur une carte mère ITX, top qualité, bien pensé look super(faut aimer la sobriété). pour un cpu milieu de gamme max (80 de TDP) sinon il sera bruyant forcément…..(j’ai essayer avec un 5950x j’ai du le renvoyer)

I’m using this cooler to cool my AMD 3700X (40-60c) and EVGA 3080 10GB XC3 Ultra in a FormD t1 itx case. Work extremely well with just two case fans. It is remarkably quiet. Noctua with exceptional quality.

My AIO broke and decided to go air cooled, does equal to, if not, a little better than the aio I had. Fits perfectly in my Phanteks Evolv Shift 2 with room to spare.
Chad –
When my AIO finally failed, I made the decision to stop using them. After a little research, I decided on the Noctua NH-L9x65 air cooler. I did not want one of the 6+” high-TDP air coolers since no matter how black they make them, they still look terrible. With my AIO, using Handbrake to convert a video resulted in CPU (i5-8600K) temps of around 85c. A little high, but acceptable. With the NH-L9x65, my Handbrake test showed a max CPU core temp of 64c at 95% CPU utilization. Perfect.
Installation was very easy and the instructions clearly written. Noctua includes both the thermal compound and a screwdriver.
I’m very happy with this product and it looks great in the case.

Sehr schön und dezent super leise

I’m always paranoid that if I used a water cooling setup then my PC would somehow immediately leak and ruin itself (horrid tech luck doesn’t help it)
It fits nicely, it’s quiet and does everything it’s supposed to. It’s about as easy to install as one of the CPU fans that come with intel CPUS sometimes.
JustSittingHere –
It did not include a cable (some low power connecter) and thermal paste. For whatever reason the accessory box just did not have it even though it shows a picture that it should be. The fan works and is quiet but still was forced to buy thermal paste using next day delivery. I might’ve been just unlucky but it’s a warning none the less for new pc builders with no experience like me.
Chad –
This low profile cooler works well and the fan is really quiet! I bought a SFF case and needed a low profile cooler, this was the best one I could find with my height limitations. The thermal paste works well and I have plenty left over. I have no problems with RAM or IO clearance as advertised.
Comes with a metal Noctua sticker.
(Just a heads up, when I first bought this, I received a used cooler that was dusty/dirty, had some bent fins and was already opened. So, I returned it and got a replacement, of which it was actually new.)
I would recommend this cooler for SFF builds.

Fa quello che deve fare, e lo fa correttamente.
Fahim –
Great performance, you get what you pay for with Noctua. Can get a little loud in my small AXT build running a newer i7, but has enough power to keep things from overheating.
