Decreased temps under load by over 10C compared to the stock cooler (AMD Ryzen 7 5700G, 65W). It’s taller than the stock cooler, but still not obnoxiously bulky either. Install was very easy. My biggest issue was getting the CPU unstuck from the stock cooler.

I have always been a big fan of this manufactures fans. When I ordered a large cooler that didn’t fit under the hood of the enclosure, I purchased this one and it fits perfectly. So far, PC runs 24/7 with Blue Iris running and no issues.

I bought this cooler for my ryzen 2700x cpu and it works great, super easy to install and keeps it fairly cool, i tried it on my 5800x though and even at full blast it couldnt tame that cpu, reaches 90c sometimes and during low cpu gaming(about 30% cpu at most) runs in the 80s which is a bit to warm, i guessed that would happen cause this cpu runs abnormally hot even though amd says its normal for it to reach 90c, my much bigger noctua cpu cooler has to work quite hard to keep this cpu cool and does a much better job but that cpu still has brief spikes in temp.

Fits perfectly in what is an extremely tight space. The stock AMD cooler wouldn’t fit and would push the ram or heatsink. This fits snuggly in-between and keeps temps cool. Not my favourite colour scheme but it works great.
Most memorable, as ive installed multiple coolers over the years — this was by far the easiest mounting system I have used. Excellent product, great price — I see why the internet sings their praises.

Da findet man das ideale Gehäuse für seine Zwecke, aber es passt leider keine AIO rein.
Verzweifelt probiert man also jede Menge Quälgeister von anderen Firmen aus, die entweder gut kühlen, aber laut sind, oder aber leise sind, aber nur miserable Kühlleistung erbringen.
Also gleich ein paar Euro mehr ausgeben, denn dann bekommt man ja fast den Garant: Es ist leise und es kühlt optimal! Und genau so ist es mit dem NH-L9x65.
Ich verwende diesen Kühler nicht zum Übertakten, sondern ich betreibe eine Ryzen 5700X CPU in den normalen Paramtern und selbst unter Vollast muss ich mir keine Sorgen um Lautstärke und/oder Temperatur machen. Die mitgelieferte WLP taugt aber aus meiner Sicht nicht sehr viel. Man kann noch ein paar Grad herauskitzeln zB mit dem Thermal Grizzly.
Das mitgelieferte Zubehör und auch die Verpackung lassen kaum Spielraum zur Kritik, es wird immer an alles gedacht und eine ganze Armada an Adapteritis ist immer mit dabei. Dabei sind nicht nur die mechanischen Adapter gemeint, sondern auch Stecker und Kabel.

Works great on Ryzen 3D cpus

Personally, I prefer air cooling over using water cooling. I’ve never been comfortable with running loops, and have been concerned with leaks and how AIOs can lose water over time. So when I started planning my second PC build, I went right to Noctua since they have a reputation for the best air-coolers on the market.
The first thing I will recommend is to check the compatibility link on their website. They make it easy to tell if any given cooler will work with your CPU, motherboard (if it will interfere with a PCIe slot for example), RAM, and your case if you are using a taller cooler.
Using that as a tool, I knew I would have no problems using this with my Ryzen 5800X3D and the RAM that I selected. I was not concerned about the case since I’m using a low profile cooler in a full sized ATX tower with a lot of air-flow.
Checking my temps, I see that the CPU (which is notorious for running hot) idles at about 41 Degrees C, and gets up to the mid-to-high 50s under load while gaming on Microsoft Flight Sim which pushes the 5800X3D to about 35% usage.
I haven’t done a cinebench R23 run on the CPU since the stacked 3D VCache does not benefit productivity so it probably won’t fair much better than the 8-core Ryzen in my other PC, but this Noctua Cooler should be able to handle this CPU pegged to 100% usage with no problem since the 5800X3D is locked and does not allow overclocking. According to the compatibility chart on Noctua’s website, I should be okay in this regard — and my CPU is running well within recommended temperatures with this cooler under normal use.
I haven’t done it yet, but Noctua makes replacement CPU fans in black which will fit better with the overall aesthetics of my build. Right now, I am still using the stock brown fan that came with the cooler, and has become Noctua’s signature color. I’m not sure I if I will replace the CPU fan, but it is a simple replacement, attaching the new one with two clips.
All in all, I love how this air-cooler looks in my build (fan color aside), and the performance definitely lives up to Noctua’s reputation: I definitely recommend the NH-L9x65 for anyone like me who still prefers air-cooling, but wants the performance of a water-cooler.

Produkten ser högkvalitativt ut. Jag har andra större Noctua luftkylare och de är toppen bra. Den här modellen dock kom med helt okompatibla “brackets” vilket omöliggörde installationen av den i mitt moderkort. Även om den annonseras som kompatibel med AM4 CPU och moderkort. Den returnerades omedelbart.

this is my first noctua cooler, before that o always was on the liquid AIO wagon, and i get this just because the size for an ITX build and the good reviews plus popular and general opinions on the brand, thinking this is gonna be the “less worst option”, boy i was wrong and i being using this for a week now and i still cannot belive how well it performs compared to liquid coolers and how QUIET it is, some times i need to open the case and see the blades spinning cuz i cannot hear them nor believe they are spinning, and practically the same cooling performance than my previous 140mm liquid AIO (even some degrees better), i declare my self a fanboy of the brand from now on

Nada más que decir… Noctua es Noctua, yo trabajo en la producción musical y en procesos bastante fuertes me mantiene temperaturas como si no estuviera haciendo tarea alguna la pc, es un milagro, compren a ésta marca el que necesiten de acuerdo a la potencia que vayan a exigir, instruyanse, son una bestialidad, pura excelencia, para mi caso éste modelo me funciona muy bien, habrá quienes usen mas fuerza y quizá requieran enfriamiento mas especifico. Noctua es Noctua!!!!

Ocupa muy poco. Refrigera muy bien… y tienes que abrir el pc para estar seguro de que funciona porque no es que haga poco ruido. Es que no lo oyes ni de noche. Excelente producto
