Even cheaper than the non rgb version when I bought it, what can I say, great product!

Actually it’s really great cooling even if it were twice the price. I have better temps with this than my wife has with the top-rated Noctua (same chip). That’s because this one has a better heat pipe setup than the Noctua.
However, the fans on this one are really obnoxious. They have a high pitched whine when they run at 100%. If you have an older case with no wire management and already noisy case fans, you might not notice, but if you’ve got one of the newer setups that’s almost silent, this will stick out like a sore thumb. No big deal if you’re on a budget – this is one of the few components that you don’t have to pay through the nose to get the best.
I ended up swapping out the fans for some Noctuas I had laying around, and now it’s nice and quiet, and still cools better than the more expensive one.
If you built computers 10 or so years ago you’ll remember the leaf spring hold-down CPU coolers that you had to press into the latch with a screwdriver, sweating whether the screwdriver would slip and punch a hole in the motherboard. This one has spring screws, so it’s really easy to install without being nervous about breaking stuff. Intel users will need to install a brace on the back side of the motherboard, so this will be very annoying to retrofit to an already-built PC. For AMD you just replace the cooling brackets on the top side of the motherboard.
Installing the fans is a royal pain, but that’s true of all the side-mount tower style CPU coolers. The wire clips that hold the fans in place love to pop out of the fan while you’re trying to slide it into place.
BTW, if you care about the LEDs on the fans and your motherboard doesn’t have an ARGB header onboard, you’ll need to get an ARGB hub. These are not compatible with the non-addressable headers, and the LEDs will not illuminate just off of fan power.

This CPU cooler is absolutely fantastic and the price is unbelievable. It’s quiet and works perfectly. For such a high-quality product, I still can’t believe it’s this cheap. Doing some research on Air Coolers, its performance is on par if not better than much more expensive, “premium” CPU coolers, and I can say my experience holds up that. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for an excellent CPU Air Cooler regardless of budget.

I recently installed the Thermalright PS120SE ARGB CPU Air Cooler, and it’s been a fantastic addition to my PC. Despite the installation being a bit time-consuming, it was straightforward enough to handle with minimal experience. The cooler boasts seven heat pipes and dual 120mm PWM fans, ensuring excellent cooling performance. The ARGB lighting adds a stylish touch to my setup.

For 35 USD with argb(got even better pricing sometimes) best value for money and beats sometimes noctua nh-d15.
Important note – it is asymmetric shape, meaning it got a special gap for GPU but you need to put it the right way like the photos I have shown! Otherwise it will be too close to GPU and cooling of both components will suffer, just flip it 180 degrees to see which is better.
Got it on my 7800x3d with mediocre paste application and getting max 79-80 Celsius at cinebech r23 which is 100% CPU for 10 min.
Gaming max 67-70 Celsius on MW3, BF 2042 with ultra settings even after 3+ hours playing, fans are pretty quiet even at high load.
Install is easy, get a long screwdriver and just put pressure on those spring bolts while you screw it or else they will spring back. YouTube is your friend.
this CPU considered hardish to cool because of the way 3d cache is built into it, so should be good for intel 253w(13-14 gen) chips also as long as it is not an i9 or i7 with super overcloacking.

The stock fans on this cooler are very quiet compared to other default fans with CPU coolers. I did swap them out for bequiet fans since this computer is in my living room, and I just wanted the computer to be as quiet as possible.
Performance is great, working just as well as much more expensive coolers. I am using a Ryzen 5 7600x CPU, and it has no issues cooling. Typically running 1440p on the TV and playing games like Baldur’s Gate 3, Forza, Jedi Survivor, etc.
Highly recommend anyone looking for a high-quality air cooler at a lower price point. You can’t beat it.

The cooler I was using for my 5700x was not good enough was I upgraded to the 5700x3d and I was getting temps around 80-90 degrees and was commonly thermal throttling. Now under most games it doesn’t even go above 70 degrees. right now as I’m writing this review my temp is at 40-45 degrees. Great cooler and it was easy to install even came with thermal paste that I’m using. Only setback is it is pretty bulky and you gotta make sure you have room in your case but I think thats evident from the picture. Overall very happy with my purchase and tbh its kinda crazy you can get a cooler this good for $35

One of the best air cooler out of the box. Runs my AMD processor 7600x at 43 degree Celsius.

First very good is that it came in very good condition
Second is everything worked well.. fan and argb both working properly
I am using corsair pro rgb sl and had to offset the front fan purposely as u see in photos.. so if you want to use this, u gotta make sure ur ram height is really low
I am playing on a non ac room, roughly 26c and i am getting 63c to 70c on fortnite high preset.. a slight impovement over ak400 where i peak at 79c.. these temps are purely cpu temps..
Very effective at its cost.. highly recommended..
