This was listed in the ad as a new product. I build computers. I have never bought any kind of optical drive and had it come in like this. It was in an unmarked open plastic sack in a different manufacturer’s box. There was no paperwork with it, no warranty, nothing. This could be a used drive for all I know. The manufacturing date was March of 2017 almost 2 years ago.
