I recently purchased new home theater seating for my house. The cables run under the chairs and all need to plug in. I had a wider power strip with 10-ft cord, but the power strip was too wide and the first time I reclined I heard a “crunch” sound and fortunately reversed the recline before any real damage was done. So I hopped on Amazon to look for a slender surge protector with 10 ft. cord. Found this one, and it fits under one of the chairs with all 5 chairs plugged in. It does its job, and does it well.

The review asked me about uses for traveling. If you’re in the US, this would work well. Not sure about anywhere outside the US. It’s nice size, cord is sturdy and works well. It also looks nicer than once I’ve bought in the past from Wal-Mart. Not sure why that matters to me because the idea is that no one sees the device, but I’m pleased with the appearance.

No obstante la información afirma que el producto es nuevo, éste llegó empaquetado en bolsa de plástico pero el empaque original estaba maltratado, el cincho plástico que sujeta el producto con el empaque de cartón llegó roto (violado), la cinta plástica que sujeta el cable llegó floja y mal apretada, parecerÃa que se quitó y después se colocó sin hacerlo bien, además de una mancha roja en el producto. Lo probé y funcionó bien, espero que continúe asÃ. Lamentablemente no puedo devolverlo debido a la urgencia que tengo para utilizarlo, y por lo mismo no tomé fotografÃa de lo anterior.

did a lil online shopping of in-store buys similar to this one @ local big box retailers & on avg you can get one very similar w/a 2′ cord for $10-$12 or so. loved this because it had a 4′ cord which is not very common. usually the next size is 6′. i didn’t need one that long. just needed access to plugs for devices in a sitting area in the apartment & a 4′ cord is perfect. simple & effective product & it actually has a nice contour to the design as opposed to the traditional rectangular & blocky design. great price! less than $10 when i ordered. definitely recommend.
