Worked great for the first few days then would not work for more than a few seconds at a time. It was charged between uses. The battery is flat and the battery won’t charge.

I’ve had one under vacuum for a few hrs. now. they are over size food storage bags, if you have a food saver compatible device with an accessory sucker on it, use that!! ive used these type bags a long time now and they have a 10% fail rate so these should be fine. FYI larger than 1KG rolls will not fit. For larger rolls i use small clothing storage bags. it would work much better with a larger pump though.

So far I’ve been very pleased with the Elegoo Filament Storage Bags (manual) Vacuum kit. I spent a little time debating with myself between the kit with the manual pump vs the electric pump, but in the end I went with the manual and I’m glad I did. The manual pump is easy to use and I wont have to worry about it being charged whenever I need to use it.
The bags are sized so that fit a Kg spool of filament and they pump down fairly quickly. I do throw a desiccant pack into the bag with the filament. So far the bags are holding their vacuum and I’m very pleased with the purchase.

Quite happy with this purchase. Good number of solid bags for the price and a very nice little evacuation pump. The pump, while not instant, works at a good pace and is wayyyy better than the cheap manual pumps included in other package ‘deals’. Longevity is yet to be concluded, but for the first week and probably 20 bags sealed, it has worked like a charm!

These are the perfect size for 1kg rolls of filament. I have purchased two different brands and I am pretty sure they are made by the same factory. They are easy to use with an electric pump(I have never attempted the manual pump that comes with the “basic” kit). I either use a desiccant “jar” that fits inside the hole in the spool or a couple of large reusable desiccant packets (I have a lot of each) and have zero moisture issues.

Outstanding product. Highly recommended for storing your 3d printer filament.
One of the most annoying things about 3d printing is swapping out the filament and having it go bad. These reusable filament storage bags are the perfect solution.
The auto pump is quite powerful, just make sure to press down on a flat surface quite hard and put it in the marked location and it works perfectly.
Photos attached are of the filament sealed in the bag, and then placed back in the original box and as you can see it packs up great.

When I ordered this set, the description said it included 30 bags with a hand pump. For the price, that would have been a great deal. However, I received a 20 bag set with a hand pump and when I requested a replacement (since I believed it was a mistake in the picking), I got a message from the seller saying the following:
“We regret to inform you that the product description of order ***-*******-******* mistakenly stated that the package includes 30 bags. The correct quantity is 20 bags with hand pump.
We apologize for this mistake and any inconvenience it may have caused. Please reach out to us if you need any assistance.”
There was no offer to make it right, but they did update the description to be correct.
But that’s not why I’m giving a 2 star review. The review is based on the value for 20 bags, which is over $1 per bag and the fact that they believe the hand pump has any value. Because of the new valve system, the hand pump requires perfect placement, the perfect amount of pressure on the valve, and a ridiculous number of strokes to get a decent vacuum.
These ELEGOO bags, pump, and clips are exactly like those from other no-name sellers that either have a lower price per bag or provide desiccant packs for a similar price.
Does this work? Yes! I’ve sealed eight rolls of filament (providing my own desiccant packs) and after 48 hours all are still holding a vacuum. Would I recommend the 20 bag/hands pump set? No, I wouldn’t recommend it at this price. I would likely recommend the 30 bag/auto pump set that is currently only $10 more expensive if the auto pump works as expected.

I purchase their filament products very often, and sometimes, they do start to show signs of flaws when left exposed to the environment for too long. This set actually serves its’ purpose, the vacuum is 100% thorough, the strength of the “sucking” is very impressive. I even tried it with a small metal canister of “All-Purpose putty” (my previous jug was covered in black dots after not using it for months and leaving it closed, but not vacuum sealed). This little device was so powerful that it started to crush the sides of the metal can, that’s when I stopped, I didn’t want to risk popping the lid from all the vacuuming. So far, all the bags of filaments I used it on shows no sign of leakage, they all are sealed tightly. I just hope vacuum sealing opened filaments truly protect from bad/flawed prints.

There were several bags that failed and would not maintain a vacuum seal. I would say you should expect a 10% – 20% failure rate based on my experience.

Edit : A representative reached out and very quickly sent me a new kit. I’m glad to report that the first 8 bags out of the new kit have all held vacuum perfectly. It looks like I just got a bad batch of bags. I am very pleased with this kit and definitely would buy more. Thanks for the great customer service and great product.
*Photo was taken a few minutes after the roll was sealed and vacuumed. Initially the bag was super tight against the roll and after a few minutes it was already this loose. After another 30 mins you wouldn’t be able to tell it was even vac sealed. Kinda defeats the purpose of the kit. *
The bag are nice and fairly heavy duty but I’ve had 7 out of 10 bags not hold vacuum. The pump is fine and works well. Trust me, I’ve been using it non-stop trying to figure out if I’m doing anything wrong. I make sure to use the fancy bag closers and also put the seal on a smooth surface and run my finger along it to make sure it’s 100% sealed. The seal gives a positive feel when sealed so I know it’s sealing. I have a feeling it’s sucking air at the end of each seal. Not happy and definitely would not purchase these again.

Mostly ordered these because I ran out of bags and the 30 + pump bundle was a good price. The pump works pretty well, sometimes it struggles to get a seal on the bag but just holding it down usually fixes that. If it gets a good seal it’ll vacuum hands free, but that doesn’t always work.
Much nicer than using the hand pump if you need to seal a lot of bags, I recommend getting an auto pump or similar.

I was hoping that there would be a bit more of a solid connection between the pump and the vacuum bags. As it is, you have to place it on a flat surface and press the pump against the bag for it to work. Would love to see a new version of the pump that can clamp onto the bag or something similar.
I guess I could also design and 3D print it too 😀
