This was purchased by the company I work for as a work tool.
The kit requires you to print your own parts to be used. That’s probably not a big deal for some people but I am new to 3D printing and I found the hinges to be particularly challenging to print.
Also, it took several days. My printer ran out of filament through the process (it takes more than a large roll of filament.) of printing one of the larger pieces and it didn’t pause like it was supposed to, causing me to waste a lot of time and filament. That’s not a fault of the kit but I couldn’t figure out a way to get it properly start again so I had to scrap it.
Lastly, the directions call for the use of magnets. A magnet holding part to be printed is included in the download file. However, the kit does not contain any magnets… and isn’t supposed to I guess… Confusing. Now I don’t really know if I should buy magnets or put it together without them.

Anfangs dachte ich ein stolzer Preis, für das bißchen Acrylglas und ein paar Schrauben. Ich habe mich dann mal umgeschaut im Netz nach dem Acryl aber die Preise sind der Hammer, nur geschnitten wollen die zwischen 60 – über 100 Euro. Da ist das ein guter Preis, vor allem es ist alles dabei was man braucht und es passt super.

would be nice if they told you, you had to print parts for it, and you cant really do them in PLA, you need abs to do it properly which you cant do with out the enclosure, kinda dumb but luckily i have plenty of printers to do it on, it took awhile and a decent amount of filament but i got it put together and it works well, keeps quite warm inside the enclosure

Very useful and easy to install
You can customise your printer the way you like it by printing different parts of the body.
I realised that I will make use money savings because without this kit thermal lose is much more than what you think. The simple fact of heating the bed makes you warm up outside of the printer radiator. I used an electronic thermometer and Hydro meter and less than three minutes the start to be stabilised and relative humidity don’t stop to decrease.
It’s a really good investment for the ADM5.
The only difficult side is to find the appropriate settings in order to to successfully print parts at the right size. I’m too short of some millimetre, but it’s quite long to reprinting it and I’m happy with the result I got. If you are perfectionist, you may have to print more than once to get the perfect fitting.

Flashforge Adventurer 5m Enclosure
Wenn Sie einen 5M für ABS und andere schadstoffhaltige und Hochtemperatur Filamente verwenden wollen und sich dieses Gehäuse dazu kaufen möchten rate ich davon ab. Mit diesem Enclosure wird ihr Drucker nicht dicht. Schöner aber nicht dicht. Sie können nach dem Umbau dieses Enclosure Set zwar ABS Drucken aber die Schadstoffe dringen ungefiltert nach aussen. Das Gehäuse müsste man noch zusätzlich mit teuren Dichtbändern und fehlenden Filtersystem ausstatten, dies ist leider gar nicht mit dem internen Mainboard möglich. Überhaupt ist zu empfehlen gleich einen 5m Pro zu kaufen der mit 2fach Filterung einmal intern oder extern ausgestattet ist.
Das Gehäuse sieht zwar nett aus. Aber es sieht auch mit selbstgedrucktem Riser dennoch wie ein Bastel aus. Bei einem Kauf eines 5m Pro bekommt man nicht nur ein fertiges sehr gutes Filtersystem mitgeliefert sondern auch einen grossen internen linken Bauraumlüfter eine LED-Licht Leiste und ein dichtes geschlossenes Gehäuse.
Wenn man denkt man könne aus einem 5m einen 5m Pro machen dann scheitert es am verbesserten Motherboard das im 5m Pro eingebaut ist. Ohne dieses kann man einen Umbau vergessen. Kostet beim Chinesen einen knappen Hunderter zusätzlich zum fehlenden Sensor und Lüftern und Hepa Filter Einsätzen für das Filtersystem.
Am besten ist den 5m so lassen wie er ist und Pla, Petg drucken das Enclosure Kit hat keinen Mehrwert und der ganze 5m ist für schadstoffhaltige Filamente wie ABS Verarbeitung ungeeignet. Vergessen Sie auch nicht knapp 30 Stunden Druckzeit und 2 Spulen 1kg Filament die für den Riser benötigt werden. Der Riser muss für die Verwendung dieses Enclosure Kit selbst ausgedruckt werden sowie 4 Seitenteile eine Blende, Scharniere, Handgriffe und Filamenthalter die in diesen Enclosure Kit nicht enthalten sind aber auf jeden Fall benötigt werden. Vorzugsweise muss man für den Riser ABS oder PETG verwenden.
Absoluter Scherz sind die 3 runden Magneten links und rechts. Diese sollen die beiden Seitenteile auf Position halten. Einmal den Drucker umstellen und die gehen sofort ab samt den beiden Seitenteilen.
Ich erkenne mit diesem Set keinen Mehrwert für hochtemperierte und schadstoffhaltige Filamente. Es sieht nett aus damit war es das auch. Kaufen Sie dafür besser gleich den 5m Pro. Kommt auch im Endeffekt günstiger als ein Umbau der durch das Fehlen des 5m Pro Mainboards und anderen fehlenden Teilen wie Lüftern, Hepa Filtereinsätzen einem Sensor nicht 100% gelingen kann da diese mit dem eingebauten Mainboard vom 5m nicht angesteuert werden können.
