This won’t work in the United States. First when you open it the power supply is for European power they do give an adapter to plug into USA 🇺🇸 power. When you go to install the region section has No United States to choose. I tried Canada wouldn’t work because I use centurylink and no isp there. You need isp that you can use your isp user and password from centurylink for it to work or qwest. Lucky was able to return it but got charged shipping. Went with the Greenwave centurylink model.

I have frontier dsl and the modems they provide are flakey and underpowered. With other modems, i had to reseach the correct settings for the dsl, but this one has a wizard that does the work for you and i was connected in minutes. It also has a ton of options like guest wifi, port forwarding (i run a web server from my house). This has more features than I knew i needed.

Obwohl das Gerät angeblich nicht für den deutschen Markt geeignet ist, funktioniert es in meinem Anwendungsbereich, nämlich als reiner WLAN-Router an einem Glasfaser-Anschluss der deutschen T. einwandfrei! Die Frechheit dabei ist, dass die inkompetent geschulten Mitarbeiter der Hotline dieses Providers behaupten, die Verwendung eines TP-Link-Routers an einem ihrer Glasfaseranschlüsse wäre technisch unmöglich, man möge doch bitte eines ihrer Geräte zum vierfachen Preis kaufen oder zu 5 Eu im Monat mieten, was nach wenigen Jahren noch teurer kommt…
Dabei ist der Anschluss dieses Routers ganz einfach: das mitgelieferte Netzwerkkabel an genau der einen mit “LAN/WAN” gekennzeichneten Buchse des TP-Link-Gerätes anstecken und mit dem Glasfasermodem, das der Provider standardmäßig als Netzabschlussgerät montiert, verbinden.
Einschalten.
Im Konfigurationsmenü nach mitgelieferter Anleitung “WLAN-Router” als Betriebsart auswählen und nach Neustart im Internet-Einstellungsmenü den Provider T. auswählen. Dort nichts ändern, lediglich als Benutzername die offenbar streng geheime (aber Google hilft) Kombination von Anschlussnummer und Zugangsnummer, gefolgt von “#0001” eingeben und darunter das vom Provider übermittelte Passwort eingeben, nochmal neu starten – und fertig! Läuft!

Power supply is for Europe. An adapter was supplied to use in North America. This is not indicated by the seller. This is misleading for sure. Otherwise the modem/ router serves it purposes

Les paramètres de configuration des fournisseurs d’accès Orange, free, SFR, Numericable, OVH, Bouygues sont pré paramétrés. Reste juste a spécifier les identifiants internet.
Interface réactive, fonctionnalités plus que correctes pour le prix.
Il manque juste de pouvoir utiliser la téléphonie orange. Auquel cas, je remplacerais la box orange.
