Works extremely well and runs rather cool (and not hot, as is a concern with 2.5 switches). Brought this because I needed my Wifi 6E access point to run at the full speed of 2.5 gigabits as it has a 2.5gbe port, and my router also has one 2.5 gbe port. So this switch pretty much is good for pass-through situations when a portion of your network needs to be 2.5 gigabit, and the rest is OK with 1 gigabit. Solid price and the blue LED for the 2.5 link is fun to look at!

Works perfectly. Great to have 2,5gbps ports from the router

Getting 1.2+ GB download on this going direct from the 2.5GB port to this PC. Finally, with Xfinty, I am very happy. Yes, it’s expensive. And you need the right modem. But if that’s the speed you crave, it works as expected. Wait 6 months, the competition for DOCS 3.1 modems may make things cheaper.

A very expensive unmanaged switch that only appeals to those looking for an RGB setup. The lighting is just a white LED behind a plastic color sheet (fake rgb), considering how cheap rgb LEDs are, it’s surprising why D-Link didn’t just add the real thing, the high price of the switch certainly justifies adding real lighting.
The overall design is nice, with cables in the back, and status lights up front, and it’s absolutely silent. I couldn’t find any type of built-in web page for configuration by scanning the entire built-in network range, so it seems to be a plug-and-forget device. The $30 switch the D-link replaces had a basic config page, so this was also a bit surprising for the lack of one.
Rating 3 out of 5 stars, due to price, using fake RGB and no customization page for basic configuration

For a small video studio I have a couple devices that need faster network connections, and this allows me to connect a PC to a Naz a higher speeds as well as connecting the rest of my network and it just works and it does so an affordable price. I have been a fan of this company for decades at this point, and they always deliver a great value

A D-Link purchase after a long time. This unmanaged switch is well-built, pretty solid heavy aluminium shell, fanless so absolutely quiet. RGB lights are fixed, no changing pattern except brightness. Looks good, but shape is such that you cannot stack anything over it. No holes underneath, so cannot be hung on a wall either, you can just put it on a flat surface.

Could test only using 1GbE connections, as I am in the market for 2.5GbE NICs (TX201 but no luck yet). 1GbEs work just fine.

This switch is great. I’ve got one computer with a 2.5G NIC and the others are gigabit. The 2.5G machine can now fully utilize the bandwidth to both gigabit machines simultaneously. This fixed a really aggravating problem for me. Would definitely recommend.

Everything worked great. Bought it for my RV. I have a relative staying in it currently and just ran an Ethernet cable out to the switch. Was an easy way to get it out there. Anyway I noticed my internet kept going out and decided after making my own Ethernet cable connectors that maybe I was the issue. But alas, after hours wasted I realized the switch just wonโ€™t receive any data. Iโ€™m not an expert on the working of the internet but just running the Ethernet straight to a device works fine. Not sure if these are under warranty as I canโ€™t find that information or the company contact information. So decided to write a review.

I like D-Link switches because they’re a great bang for the buck and are just plug n play. and I upgraded my internet plan to 2Gbps in the last few months. So I can finally take advantage of it w the 2x 2.5Gbps ports. If you’re like me and only need 2.5Gbps to your PC. then get this and save some money.
