The instructions on the app are pretty useless. What you want to do is hit the + sign and put in your network name and password. Then it will find your routers. Discovered this on two different TP mesh routers. After that, performance is fantastic. Our two units are 30′ apart but we are still getting 300kpbs (Spectrum max) throughout the house (Cape Cod). Our unit seems perfectly fine. I think a lot of people give up trying to set these up and return them. We have a desktop computer plugged into each unit and a VOIP phone box plugged into the far one so all of our ports are being used.

My whole house and yard are now covered with secure wifi access for my family. Our ISP offers over 1Tb speeds and we lose only a little of that speed using this mesh. No lagging or lack of connectivity occurs. Definitely worth getting and using.

Hasta ahora es buen producto, no me ha fallado. Adquirà la versión “renovada”, y aún sin fallas, esperemos asà siga. Me sirvió para pasar el internet de la planta baja a la planta alta de mi casa, tenÃa un repetidor pero no llegaba sifuciente señal y tenÃa problemas al navegar o ver videos en plataformas, con este equipo lo solucioné, me da prácticamente la misma velocidad abajo que arriba.

Al principio se desconectaba pero después se estandarizo y me resolvió los problemas de conexión, hay casi 30 aparatos inteligentes conectados y funcionan mejor que nunca, lo mejor es que ya no tengo que cambiar de conexión, uso una sola y eso también resolvió los problemas de videollamadas. Es muy fácil de instalar y aunque el paquete es de dos prácticamente todo se conecta a un solo aparato, es decir, su área de cobertura es muy amplia.

I ordered six of these, for a total of 12 units and every single unit that was sent was a W3600 instead of an N20. While they have very similar specs, the N20 is the newer unit and it supports much more advanced Security and Parental Controls. I am upset that I was clearly the victim of Bait and Switch.

The Deco Mesh fixed my connectivity issues. Is the best improvement that I have done to my internet connection which includes great features like QoS, vpn settings and more. I also like the Deco app to manage the devices. I procured them as renewed and they came like new, without any issues.

Since release, I’ve been using the Unifi Dream Machine which is 4×4 WiFi 5. While it’s a fantastic router, now that I’m living in an condo with countless WiFi 6 and 6e signals around me, I needed a better WiFi system. Using the 2x Deco W3600s in AP-mode, I’m maxing my 500Mbps down and 20Mbps up plan anywhere in my 3-story condo. Great product and great price, no need to buy brand-new networking equipment as long as you reset your gear before use.

I was concerned about changing out my existing router because I have some older devices that are finicky about their connections, use outdated WPS security and have network settings that cannot be easily changed. In an effort to avoid these problems, I named my new tp-link X20 mesh network the same as my old one and used the same password. It worked! All my devices connected to the new network with no problem. I really like how easy it is to use the Deco app to setup and manage the network. No experience necessary! These refurbished units appear to work great and saved me some money.
