Printer did not work. Requested a return within 30 days. Seller lied about when they shipped it and refused. I had evidence luckily. Also they ended up calling us liars during communication. Luckily Amazon resolved it with them after they became aggressive.

May not air print. For no reason it goes to fax mode and cannot air print. A manual should be provided to instruct as to how to overcome various flaws

I like Brother printers, but this may have been a big step up for the 80+yr old lady with old-brain issues that was previously using an HP printer.
After teaching (and writing) specific steps to get what she wants done, it works for her pretty well.

I have previously had to obtain a separate machines for each task.
I am able to obtain a large toner cartridge that will likely last more than one year with my current daily usage.

Be careful about cartridges. I ordered a printer that would fit my remaining cartridges. This one did not did not work for the cartridges.

Yes, it took us an hour or more to figure out how to connect to wifi. We have printed, scanned, and taken care of so many odds and ends we’ve been neglecting for several weeks and finished it all in an hour. The print looks great. We threw our HP in a dumpster, and returned our Canon that kept jamming. When it finally printed after a satanic ritual we held and it was a blob of ink. Stupid but my husband and I think this is the best thing we did this week.
Update, it has been several weeks. This thing prints like a champ and it comes out so clear. No jamming, no dried up ink. No issues scanning.
