I’ve had experience with a few different brands of outdoor move screens from past rentals so I have a basis for comparison. The Kodak is of clever design and easy to use. There has good instructions and there’s a very well done online video showing the process. Two people are needed to set it up but there’s no heavy lifting required. I live at the beach 3 blocks from the ocean so we have strong breezes. This is a big screen so I always add an extra support rope on each side.
This screen may cost a bit more than some others but the quality is top notch and less likely to bend or break as lower quality products may do. To me the screen is exceptional and it’s great that you can do front or rear projection. You attach the screen to the frame at various heights.
I applaud Kodak for having a fairly priced high quality product.

The first time we put this together the screen was a bit hard to stretch out. After you get a few snapped in, have one person pull and the other snap in. We use a rear projector and the color is awesome. The screen if very sturdy, but we only used it indoors. I feel that it will be okay outdoors with the tie downs provided. Make sure that you read the directions and look and the picture the first time setting up, for the legs take a bit of figuring out. All in all I would recommend this screen for long term use.

This screen is massive and is great for outdoor viewings. However, it’s HEAVY, so don’t think it’s very portable. I took it to a friend’s place to watch Monday night football, and it took approx 10-15 mins to set up with 3 people. It was the first time using, so I’m hoping it takes half as long next time I do it. It’s BIG, so make sure you have the right space for it. Once set up, it will take a hurricane to move. The screen is virtually wrinkle free because it’s made of a soft fabric material that feels more like a mesh than a traditional screen. Recommended if you will keep in your backyard.

I absolutely LOVE this projector screen, not the whole thing, just the screen. First I want to start by saying that this thing stands about 7 or 8 feet off of the ground. The stand for the screen is really big and I think it will stand a little over my house. We didnt get to put the whole thing together becuase one of the stand pieces wouldnt snap into place which would cause the whole thing to be unstable an utimately fall over. Thats assuming that it would stand up without the piece snapping into place. Long story short, I really like how big the screen is and luckily we were able to sit it perfectly on the window that slightly pertrudes from the side of the house. I dont like the fact that the color of the screen is grey, because it causes the picture to show a little dimmer than it should..but overall it is actually okay. The overall projector screen is very well built and not really hard to put together. Like I said, you really just snapping pieces of metal together. For the screen part; I love because it snaps as well just like you would a jacket with a snap close instead of a zipper. It is kind of tough to snap into place; I dont know if that is because it was the first time it was being used..Or if it is so there is no slack in the picture once the set up is complete, but it is nice. And you will see what I mean once you get it. Given the price of this projector screen I think there is really no room for the company to make any mistakes like the pieces not snapping into place; so I would suggest they do better testing so that more customers dont have this problem.

The frame and overall build quality of this screen is amazing, but it is NOT set up for front projection as claimed on the description. When used as a rear projection screen, the picture is not bad at all (Optoma true 4k 3800 lumen projector). When I tried it as I intended on using, front projection due to space constraints, the image quality is terrible. Washed out and faded looking. Tried flipping the screen to the other side with the same result. It’s really unfortunate, because as mentioned, the frame is awesome and I haven’t been able to find another as good. Had to return for credit and the seller initially said I’d have to pay return shipping since I had “changed my mind”. I argued that I changed nothing, but realized they lied on the description.

With a ripped button and a couple foot prints on the screen, the package with the parts was taped up on the inside. Seems like I should have received an out of box rate on this. That said the screen looks good at the venue.
