This is a great shredder for your home or small office! It can handle a good amount of paper at one time so no need to sit and insert sheet by individual sheet. Also, no need to worry about staples or paper clips; this will power right through them both. That makes it a really easy and versatile shredder as you can pretty much just toss whatever into it and it will shred it. It has a finger safety which work well as if you even barely touch the small ring around the slot where you put paper, it pauses until you stop touching it and then it will continue if needed. It also comes with everything you need. Power cord, lubrication oil and even plastic bags for the bin. I thought it was nice that it came with a few bags (3 to be exact) but it is a little hard to get the bag in the bin properly. The bags are big and so they just kind of flop in the bin with not a real good way to secure them, but they do work once you just kind of jam it in there, so not a big deal. What was a big deal, was after I used the 3 bags, I just figured I’d use the bin by itself with no bag as there’s nothing to stop you from doing this. That was a mistake. It worked great, but when I went to empty it, I had a real hard time figuring out how to dump the shreds out into a kitchen bag since the bin is not a standard like rectangle or square. The front of the shredder shroud is attached to the bin, so it makes getting a bag around the bin part proved quite difficult. Shreds got all over the place and I had to then vacuum it all up, so if you go with this shredder, make sure you use a bag. Either buy more of the ones that come with it, or just empty the bag into a larger bag and continue to use the one that came with it. Other than this mild inconvenience, this is a great shredder that should last for years and years if properly maintained.

This shredder does a great job of, well, shredding. I’ve been able to put the full 16 sheets at a time though it and it didn’t have any problems. It’s nice that it cuts both ways, rather than just into strips.

This is an impressive, heavy-duty shredder that runs very quietly. However, it is relatively large compared to our old shredder (about twice the size). We keep the shredder in our home office between our two computer work tables, and it is bulkier looking than we anticipated. On the other hand, it shreds far more pages than our old shredder and runs much more quietly. The shredder has wheels, which is good as it is heavy, but even with the wheels locked when you try to pull open the paper bin the shredder still moves a bit. You have to hold the shredder in place with one hand and pull open the bin with the other. A nice touch is the supply of plastic bags that came with the shredder to use in the bin to collect all the paper bits. (My husband typically dropped bits all over the floor in the process of emptying the old shredder bin.) The shredder also tells you when it is full and needs emptying. We have not had any jams so far, and it doesn’t seem like we will as this shredder processes many pages more than our old one, but time will tell. In conclusion, this is a large heavy-duty shredder that might be better in more than just a home office, unless you do quite a lot of shredding.

This punches at its weight. This is a much better shredder than most that I have had, but most of my shredders have been under $100.
It comes with a bottle of oil so you can maintain it properly which is a nice touch.
The machine looks good, and is super quiet. I heard my other shredder from across the room more than this one being right next to it.
It isn’t a micro cut shredder, it gives you strips about 1.5 inches long.
It is a bit wide, so it would take up more space under a desk compared to other similar shredders so check the dimensions.
The only gripe I have with it is the opening size. I understand they keep it small to protect fingers, but they could have a tapered opening that still gets small enough to protect fingers, but at least helps you align sheets and insert them easier. It also doesn’t work well under a desk unless you pull it out because its hard to get the paper in the slot from a side angle.

Just became to much of an hassle trying to return the item due to not having the original box on hand.
The manufacturer needs to make it easier to remove paper stuck in the teeth that causes the jams. Unfortunately we have to use a butter knife to remove the jammed paper in the shredder. Definitely would not buy again.

This is a very solid paper shredder with numerous built in features. It has various light colors that provide information on things like if your bin is open or even if your hand is near the opening (as a safety warning). It tells you when the bin is full and can handle many sheets of paper at once. I have not had any episodes of it jamming even when multiple uneven pieces of paper and cardboard are inserted. It comes with a small bottle of oil and instruction on how to keep the shredder in top condition by oiling the gears each time you empty the bin. It rolls around easily and is much more compact than heavy duty shredders I have had in the past. It is “fairly” quiet (all shredders make noise when in use) and warns you when it has been used for a long enough continuous period so that it needs to cool down. This is a very high quality device.

the shredder works well, it’s pretty straightforward to use and operate. I haven’t experienced any jam, but it appears straight forward. I was surprised how compacted it was, while it was smaller than I was expecting but it works especially in smaller areas.
