I would not recommend this to anyone. Had for under a year, worked great for the first 4 months then it started jamming for no reason and becomes impossible to open. It’s very awkward when trying to give change to a customer and your drawer locks up i you. Then we end up keeping the drawer open which is super unsafe.
Overall i wish i could return but now it is to late, i would recommend buying a different one

Really needed this badly for special event coming up. So disgusted when it arrived and was totally inoperative. Unlocked but drawer is jammed closed and recessed back in the cabinet.
Customer support is excellent with their products and have resolved the problem.

I received this item just 2 months. The item is beautiful, looks solid. However, hand-pushing the drawer often cannot get it opened. It’s very frustrating with a customer when the casher drawer cannot be opened. This is a defect!

I ordered a larger one this time so the bills will lay down flat. In smaller ones they curl up on the ends and get stuck together because of that.
This one is a honey. That is not a problem.
It is large. A bit too large. Takes up a lot of space and the steal seems thinner than my last one.
I like the fact that there is no ringing bell inside. We had to disassemble the last one and take out the bell because it was so annoying. If you have room on the counter, this one seems nice.

So this box is pretty great overall. Yes, mine did end up jamming like others have reported but it’s very sturdy (took a tumble out of the truck and didn’t scuff or dent), has a removable cash tray, and has plenty of room for bills and coins. I get many compliments from other vendors at my shows.
Now, about that jamming, it worked really really well for a few months before it started to jam. It was intermittent and wasn’t too bad at first but it did eventually get worse. I ended up taking my cash box apart to see what the issue was and there is what I am going to call “a design flaw”.
In the picture that I attached, I discovered that the pin holding part of the mechanism in place is actually preventing the arm from swinging freely. It’s relatively easy to fix, just need to file it down a bit. I used a dremel tool to shave it down, (not too much though, the pin serves a purpose) took all of 10 minutes to fix it, from start to finish and now it works great again.
Despite the box jamming and having to fix it (which shouldn’t happen, but anyway), I’m still giving it 4 stars. It’s super sturdy, relatively inexpensive for a cash drawer, and I quite like the way it looks. If you don’t mind having to fix it eventually, you’ll have yourself a decent little cash box.

I purchased this cash drawer for my business with high hopes, but unfortunately, it has turned into a constant source of frustration. Initially, it worked seamlessly for about a week, but soon after, it started to jam repeatedly. Opening it now requires an exasperating 5-15 pushes.
I’ve made numerous attempts to rectify the issue, such as regreasing it, adjusting the springs, and trying different techniques, but none of them have alleviated the problem. It’s disheartening to see that such an essential product has a fundamental flaw that renders it practically useless.
I expected a higher level of quality and reliability, given the importance of a functional cash drawer for smooth transactions. Unfortunately, this product falls short in delivering on those expectations. I sincerely hope that the manufacturer takes note of this issue and addresses it promptly, as it’s disappointing to encounter a default product in this day and age.
In conclusion, I regretfully cannot recommend this cash drawer due to its incessant jamming issues. It’s crucial to find a reliable alternative that won’t hinder your business operations.
