The software is free which is why I bought it they have great customer serviceโฆ but the software is unnecessarily difficult to use. Its cannot be used just for punching in and out, you have to create schedules for each staff member. It does not calculate total hours worked for each staff member and it does not generate printable reports within the software; you have to export the data, open in excel, calculate the hours and then you can print it.
I donโt recommend. But it does work if you donโt mind spending extra time doing payroll and calculations.

We purchased this time clock in January this year for our remote factory. The set up was fairly easy and the features of the machine are very impressive, and we are optimistic that this time clock will greatly assist our business.
What i can say is that for the approximately four times i have contacted their customer support line, the response time and technical support have been very impressive. I am not a technical person, and i was successful in the set up because of the knowledge, patience and courtesy of the agents i spoke to.
We are now completing the final full set up of the machine (entering employees names, numbers etc), and i will give an update when the time clock starts to take ethe rigors of daily work. ..but GREAT so far.

The company I purchased this for had no need to use the fingerprint scanner nor the ID cards, they only wanted the Employee ID to be input. They DID require a timeclock to be accessible ONLINE to access the info without USB drives or being at the site to obtain the information. It’s compact and does NOT take up much room. The online software was easy enough for the accountant to set up himself (NOT very tech savvy, self admitted) and he loves the reports he can run compared to other timeclocks at other locations within the business.
Personally, it’s a bit cheaply made. It’s also a bit of a hassle to set up given it’s cumbersome data entry on the unit itself. Mounting is fairly secure, since once it’s mounted, it would be pretty difficult to unmount it given the extremely limited access to the mounting screw on the mounting plate.
Overall, it’s a good purchase. Initial setup on the device (entering WiFi password) could be a bit easier, otherwise it’s been solid since the initial install.

The user manual does not contain full instruction. The Youtube videos found also did not really show step by step instruction. The digital fingerprint recording was really testing my patience. At one point, I almost threw the device. I had planned on returning the product but decided to keep as I had invested enough time to enroll all my employees.

The initial setup just need to pay attention and after that its very easy to use. No subscription needed and works flawlessly. I bought 4 and have told some friends to buy this one. greatly recommended because it does not need subscription.
