This was purchased to replace a 13 year old on whose LCD screen is fading. Makes great labels. I like the choices of tape type (paper, plastic, etc.). Makes it usable for many surfaces.

The hardware works well enough. Basic text labels are easy to make and print.
I am using this to put labels on plastic bottles of custom paint blends. The labels that came with the unit do not stick to the bottles. They peel off within a day or two and I have to use regular clear tape to make them permanently stick. I’m sure the labels would stick just fine to paper or cardboard, but if the thing you’re labeling is made of plastic you might want to look for something else.

This is a fabulous labeler. I have labeled cords, books etc. I haven’t used all the options but you can change size and style of letters. You can add borders. You can print symbols. You can print 2 lines and add a date. There is a language option. Great value for the money!

Très pratique pour étiqueter tout et n’importe quoi. Pour le rangement de mon atelier de bricolage, j’en ai mis partout de ces petites étiquettes !!! Très simple à faire fonctionner. Nécessite l’achat de ruban Dymo dédié mais pas très cher pour la quantité d’étiquettes réalisables. Après 10 ans d’utilisation, elle est toujours fonctionnelle cette étiqueteuse, donc produit également très durable. N’hésitez pas.

Even though it was larger and heavier than I expected, this device was intuitively easy to set up and use. I have yet to read the whole User Manual, but it just arrived this afternoon. It wouldn’t be a good choice if you need a small, lightweight, portable label maker. This one is too large and heavy.
I deliberately selected a device with the Qwerty keyboard, as I’m more familiar with it. In advance, I had also bought a 6-pack of the white plastic tape label cartridges. So when the label maker arrived today, I was all set to get started.
In the evening, I was able to quickly make 26 name labels for my disabled brother’s art supplies. The labels look great and will be water resistant. If the adhesive on the labels ‘holds’, these should last a long time.
The device was almost silent when it was printing (a surprising but welcome feature) and it shuts off automatically if left for more than a few minutes. It would have been even better if its screen was lit. It was hard to read in the evening, unless I was sitting directly under a light/lamp. A bonus is that the device retains the text when shut off, unless deliberately erased.
My only gripe (thus far) is that the device came in rigid plastic packaging — the kind that needs to be cut open. As a result, there is NOTHING to store it in that will keep it clean. It would have been perfect if it had come in a box to protect it.

I may have an obsession with organization and the Dymo Letra Tag has taken it to a new height! I LOVE IT! I labeled my pantry and my cutlery drawer and so far everything has stayed in place with my kids. If I could only label my whole house! 🙂 It even has cloth labeling. I am definitely going to try that next!

I love this label maker. I had one before and it lasted 10 years. I have a big craft room so there is always something to label. The cartridges are reasonably priced compared to other machines. The labels stayed stuck unless you stick it on something wooden. I would highly recommend!!

I love this label maker. I use it daily for everything!! Just wish they would last me longer, but this one has lasted the longest out of all of the one’s I have purchased. But, I do recommend rechargeable batteries. I went through a lot of batteries before I brought rechargeable. But we’ll worth the money.

INSTALACIÓN
La máquina funciona con cuatro pilas de tipo LR6 (tamaño AA) no incluidas con el producto. Para su utilización lo único que hay que hacer es colocarle las pilas, colocarle una cinta de impresión y ya estará lista para su funcionamiento.

Es capaz de imprimir todo el abecedario en mayúsculas y minúsculas, (AZ-az) incluida la letra eñe y los números del 0 al 9.
Cuenta con la posibilidad de imprimir hasta 195 símbolos/iconos entre los que se incluyen símbolos matemáticos, de operación, de moneda, de interrogación/admiración, números en subíndice/superíndice, copyright, flechas de dirección, emoticonos y algunos iconos de diversas utilidades.
Dispone de varias funciones para imprimir etiquetas según nuestros gustos o necesidades, entre las cuales podemos encontrar:
– 5 tamaños de impresión.
– 7 estilos de impresión: normal, negrita, cursiva, contorneado, sombreado y vertical.
– 9 tipos de efectos para enmarcar el texto.
– Posibilidad de imprimir una o dos líneas.
