Love this pin! Ink smears before dry. I guess that’s common sense but, not instantly dry.

It’s a solid all around pen. It fills a niche that I haven’t seen anyone else do, which is combining 1)super thick 2)ballpoint 3)click and 4)clip. I know it’s advertised as a metal pen, but it’s so thin it gives the same vibe as veneer. That said, I’d trust it not to put an ink stain through my pants pocket like a Bic Cristal pen did. They write really smooth and the clip is snug enough to stay attached to shirts/pants/aprons etc. So they’re great for moving and writing, but I wouldn’t say EDC material unless you’re swapping in new ones every so often.

These pens are wonderful. I love writing pens I prefer a broad line pen. And a good one is hard to find but these ones were very nice smooth flowing ink. Nice to hold in the hand. Wonderful.

I have low vision so I’ve searched extensively on Amazon for the boldest of the bold pens and have landed upon the Zebra F-301 1.6mm and the BIC Velocity 1.6mm as the boldest pens available.
BIC Velocity Bold Ball Pen, 1.6mm, Black, 12ct (VLGB11-Blk)
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004F9QBDC/ref=pe_385040_121528360_TE_dp_2
Both the BIC Velocity and the Zebra F-301 are great pens, but in the end I prefer the BIC Velocity. I’ve used both at work for the last 3 months and have found that the BIC writes smoother on paper and isn’t as “scratchy” as the Zebra (I don’t want to give you the impression that the zebra is scratchy in general way in relation to the majority of pens, it’s a really, really great pen, just in comparison to the BIC is a little more scratchy). Also, the BIC is slightly but noticeably bolder than the zebra despite both being 1.6mm.
The Zebra’s metal construction and look is much better than the BIC’s plastic, they’re just really nice, professional looking pens, they look great in the shirt pocket and look and feel like they would cost much more than they in fact do. The BIC’s are cheap plastic, not “professional” looking, but hey, for my purposes as someone who needs to write fast and with a bold line, they are preferred.
I haven’t had any issues with ink leakage or breakage with either pen by the way, and that’s coming from someone who has pens in his shirt pocket all day long and constantly takes the pen out and puts it back in

These are small ball point pens
Write very fine
No smears
Write upside down
Expensive but worth the price
Hard to find in stores around here so Bezos’ team is my vendor
Prompt friendly service
Great quality and value although pricey they are worth it and come in blue or black

Bought 2 pens in seperate packaging because I didn’t realize there was a 2 pack option. Between both pens, neither worked for more than a single faded dot of ink (as shown in image)
Saw something about clogged ballpoint pens getting freed up after dipping the tip in rubbing alcohol, will update review if that changes things.
Items were shipped during temps below 50deg F, that also might have something to do with it.
Either way, you’re playing the lottery when you buy these pens, and unfortunately I lost.
A good alternative are Bic Cristal 1.6mm pens. You can get 24 for under $6, they write super smooth.
As an update, the ink is clearly dried up. Leaving a lighter under the tip for a few seconds frees up the ink near the tip, but when writing begins to dry out. After about 30 min of use continuously holding a lighter to the tip nothing changed. Fast forward a few weeks, picked up the pen again and it seemed to have fixed itself with time. After writing half a page of notes, the pen died again.

I have been using these pens exclusively for about 4 years now, prior to finding this pen i always had a problem with pens in general in that they would scratch the paper and was on a tireless hunt to find the perfect pen that would not do that, enter the Zebra F-301 Bold Point, now this is a professional pen I can get behind, It glides over your paper , similar to if you have used chalkboards and white boards in that chaulk will drag along its respective board and a white board marker will sort of glide over its respective board. The pen is made well, has never gave me a issue , always starts after a few seconds of scribbing on an inconspicuous spot , and always gives a clear sign of when it’s running out of ink. It’s the pen i will trust until the end, and dear reader, i would reccomend you go out and try one yourself and see what i mean.

Zebra Pen F-301 Stainless Steel bold, 1.6mm. This pen is so skinny it is uncomfortable to write with. I have some trouble holding skinny pens and I know I would drop this one. It is cheap, writes mostly nicely, good looking ink and I do love the bold 1.6mm but it doesn’t have even coverage. If you change direction than it can go lighter on the ink, so not recommended.

I am registered blind and struggle to see when I need to write which in my job I sometimes need to do. It was a strugle to find a pen that I could see what was written but the ink did not bleed through the paper.
I have been using these for a week or 2 now and they are great.

Honestly, theres nothing much to say here aside from that anyone I let borrow my pen wants it. It’s cheap, writes wonderfully with the bold flow, has a sleek metal casing. Idk man, just get it. I promise you’ll love it.
